After breakfast, the two set off to complete their tasks for the day. Ao Bing headed to the Dragon Palace, while Nezha went to the Youth Football Training Base.
At the training ground, Nezha was instructing a group of teenage players. These young athletes were selected from across the country for their potential, and under his guidance, many of them were expected to become professional players in the future, even members of the national team.
"Xiao Wang, remember to lift your head and observe your teammates' positions when passing!" Nezha shouted. "Xiao Li, be more proactive in your positioning! Don’t just wait for the ball to come to you!"
The young players admired this former professional star and coach. Nezha not only possessed outstanding skills but also had a unique teaching style that allowed him to identify each player's strengths and weaknesses, tailoring training accordingly.
"Coach," after training, a shy boy named Xiao Wang approached Nezha. "I heard today is your anniversary with Professor Ao. Wishing you both happiness."
Nezha was somewhat surprised. "How did you know?"
Xiao Wang smiled shyly. "Professor Ao mentioned it in music class last time. He said you’ve been together for twenty years and have never given up on each other, no matter what."
Nezha's eyes slightly misted over. Since the completion of the Underwater Concert Hall, Ao Bing occasionally came to the youth football base to teach these kids music appreciation classes, helping them relax and cultivate their artistic sensibilities. He hadn’t expected Ao Bing would mention their story in class.
"Thank you, Xiao Wang," Nezha said, ruffling the boy's hair. "Remember, whether it's football or life, the most important thing is to never give up."
After training, Nezha went to the hospital for a routine check-up. Since the battle against the Abyss, he had been left with some aftereffects that required regular monitoring.
"Mr. Nezha, your condition has improved significantly since last time," the doctor said with a smile. "The recovery from Demon Sphere Power is stable; we just need to continue observing."
Nezha breathed a sigh of relief. "So can I gradually increase my exercise?"
The doctor hesitated for a moment. "Yes, but take it step by step. Don’t forget that your body endured tremendous impact ten years ago; even as a Child of the Demon Sphere, it needs time to recover."
As he left the hospital, Nezha received a message from Ao Bing: "The ceremony ended early; I’m waiting for you by the sea."
Nezha smiled as he replied: "On my way." He then drove straight to the beach.
Meanwhile, Ao Bing sat on a large rock on the beach, gazing at the distant horizon. Unlike Nezha, Ao Bing's appearance had hardly changed—this was a characteristic of the Dragon Tribe's long lifespan. However, his gaze was deeper and steadier than in his youth, filled with wisdom and warmth accumulated over time.
Ao Bing looked at the shell in his hand—it was one that Nezha had picked up on this beach long ago, shaped like two birds in flight, symbolizing their love soaring together. Twenty years had passed, yet this shell remained intact, becoming one of their most treasured mementos.
"What are you thinking about?" A familiar voice came from behind him. Ao Bing turned around to see Nezha approaching with two bottles of beer in hand.
Ao Bing smiled as he took the beers. "I was thinking about our first visit to this beach. Back then, you were just an impulsive kid who would lose his temper at any moment."
Nezha pretended to be displeased and muttered, "You weren't much better yourself—always so quick to anger with that Ice Block Face of yours; you hardly ever smiled back then."
