Every strike was accompanied by a deafening sound of slicing through the air, the azure sword light shrouded in a layer of blood red. Each swing contained my boundless power, and the might of the Azure Blood Sword surged. At this moment, I was no longer the calm Ling Xue; before losing my will, I would use my sword to avenge my master and all those in Sword Heart Valley!
Mo Wuhen and the shadow guards were stunned by my sudden, frenzied outburst. They retreated in fear but could not withstand my onslaught, which came like a raging storm. The power of the Azure Blood Sword soared, and wherever the crimson light struck, enemies fell before me.
Yun Yi watched my transformation from the sidelines, his eyes filled with concern, yet he knew there was nothing he could do to stop me at this moment. One by one, the shadow guards were torn apart by the Azure Blood Sword, blood splattering to the valley floor. In the end, only Mo Wuhen remained on the battlefield, heavily injured and pushed back by my sword. He looked at me in terror, recalling the legends from years past about our ancestor who wielded the Azure Blood Sword and became a sword demon, ultimately bathing the martial world in blood. At this moment, Ling Xue was covered in blood, hair disheveled, resembling a demon from hell.
"You... you have Fallen Into Madness!" Mo Wuhen stammered, attempting to retreat. I did not respond; I merely fixed my crimson gaze upon him, the Azure Blood Sword pointed at his throat. He knew I would not spare him.
With gritted teeth, Mo Wuhen suddenly struck several acupoints on his body and spat out mouthfuls of blood, seemingly using some kind of secret technique to unleash his potential and cause his internal energy to surge dramatically. He raised his Inkblade and fiercely slashed towards me with an incredibly sharp sword aura aimed directly at Ling Xue before abruptly turning to flee.
My consciousness was hazy; the evil and violent power of the Azure Blood Sword compelled me to act. I could not control myself as I raised the Azure Blood Sword once more, directing it towards Yun Yi.
“Ling Xue!” Yun Yi's voice was filled with urgency as he drew his sword but did not attack, hoping to awaken my senses. “You’ve Fallen Into Madness! Wake up!”
But I could not hear his calls; all I felt was an impulse to tear everything before me apart. I charged at Yun Yi with my sword drawn, the light flashing like lightning, each wave of sword energy carrying destructive force.
Yun Yi had no choice but to raise his sword in defense; his technique remained precise, but each block was cautious as he sought to avoid harming me. “Ling Xue! Stop! Please wake up!”
Our sword lights intertwined with each clash sparking flames. Yun Yi's blade never aimed for my vital points; instead, his eyes were filled with pain and struggle as he faced the frenzied version of me that had Fallen Into Madness. Gradually, he found himself at a disadvantage, sustaining more wounds.
“Yun Yi, I'm sorry…” A fleeting moment of clarity flashed through my mind but was quickly drowned by that violent force. I could not control myself; I could only let this power drive me to continue attacking.
Yun Yi was covered in blood and retreating step by step; his sword never truly counterattacked but remained purely defensive as he tried desperately to protect himself. “Ling Xue! I believe you can do it! Wake up! Otherwise, you will truly be controlled by the Azure Blood Sword and become a heartless sword demon!”
I could feel his helplessness and anxiety; the Azure Blood Sword glimmered with a bloodthirsty red light while that force kept me from stopping. My body felt as if it no longer belonged to me; the Azure Blood Sword propelled me forward relentlessly with each swing growing more frenzied.
The battle raged on; Yun Yi never gave up calling for me while I drifted further away from myself under this power's influence. My consciousness gradually faded away.
