Qin Xiaoya didn't care about much. After striking Gu Xiangzhou, she casually said, "Gu Xiangzhou, step aside; this doesn't concern you."
"Heh, now it does concern me. Since you struck first, don't blame me for being rude," Gu Xiangzhou replied with a cold smile, clenching his fists as he approached her.
Having been hit by her, he felt he had to retaliate; otherwise, he would lose face. As a man, how could he be beaten by a woman? He had simply been caught off guard by Qin Xiaoya's sneak attack earlier.
Now that he was on the offensive, he thought Qin Xiaoya would have no choice but to beg for mercy.
Gu Xiangzhou cracked his knuckles and assumed an attacking stance, looking quite impressive. After all, he had studied Taekwondo and Karate, even if his skills were only mediocre; he could still strike a pose.
What Gu Xiangzhou didn't expect was that Qin Xiaoya wouldn't dodge his attack. Instead, she moved swiftly to grab his raised arm and yanked it down forcefully, causing him to tumble to the ground in an embarrassing heap.
The scene was awkward, and everyone stared in disbelief.
Gu Xiangzhou lay on the ground for five seconds before getting back up, still unwilling to give up. He charged at her again.
This time, Qin Xiaoya seized his arm but didn’t push him away. Instead, she twisted it sharply, making Gu Xiangzhou scream in pain.
"President Qin! President Qin! It hurts! Let go of me!"
"I was wrong! I really was wrong!"
"It’s killing me! I can’t take it; my arm is going to break! President Qin, please let go!"
Gu Xiangzhou knelt on the ground, begging for mercy without any dignity. He was just a spoiled playboy who had been pampered since childhood and couldn’t handle even a little pain. So in his agony, he begged without needing Qin Xiaoya to say anything.
Qin Xiaoya let out a cold laugh and kicked Gu Xiangzhou back down to the ground.
"You deserve it. You have no right to interfere in my affairs," she scoffed.
The atmosphere fell silent as everyone was stunned by Qin Xiaoya's display of strength.
"I didn't expect President Qin to be so formidable. Isn't Gu Xiangzhou a black belt in Taekwondo? How could he possibly lose to her?"
"Gu Xiangzhou's black belt is probably bought," someone whispered.
"Haha, it's self-proclaimed. He can't even beat a woman; it's laughable."
Many nearby people whispered their mockery. They didn’t think Qin Xiaoya was particularly impressive; they just felt that Gu Xiangzhou was overrated and too full of himself. Perhaps he had indulged too much lately and now couldn’t even handle a woman.
These whispers reached Gu Xiangzhou's ears, causing his face to flush with embarrassment. He wished he could find a hole to hide in. As someone who relied on his looks for social standing, how could he show his face after this? Losing to a woman—how humiliating!
Yet deep down, Gu Xiangzhou knew that although his black belt in Taekwondo was fake, he regularly worked out and ran. His stamina in bed was quite good too; he could easily handle multiple women if needed.
But now, facing Qin Xiaoya, he realized there was only one possibility: she was no ordinary woman; she was a martial artist.
"Qin Xiaoya, you really are something. You've definitely been practicing martial arts in secret, hiding it so well. Today, I've fallen for your tricks," Gu Xiangzhou said loudly, trying to regain some face. Claiming that Qin Xiaoya had secretly trained in martial arts made it sound better that he lost to someone skilled in combat.
