In a hidden cave, Mo Wen refined his knife once again. He did not add any new materials; instead, he forged the knife using the techniques he had taught to Kao Shu Village. Looking at the blade in his hand, it was indeed more solid and sharper than before. He reorganized the materials and herbs he had collected from Moro City, placing the important items directly into the Square Inch World. His trip to Moro City could be described as a successful venture, especially with Wang Tian's collection. The talismans and elixirs alone would last him a long time, saving him the trouble of replenishing his supplies. 0

Within the Square Inch World, Xiao Hei was still asleep, showing no signs of waking up. The few brightly colored wild birds he had raised had grown quite a bit, and most importantly, everything he had planted was thriving. During his time in Kao Shu Village, he hadn’t checked on the Square Inch World even once. After taking a stroll around, he recalled Wang Tian's Storage Device and realized it might be time to expand the warehouse in his little world. 0

As he continued deeper into the forest, his initial excitement began to fade. There were hardly any powerful Demon Beasts around, let alone anything worthwhile to collect. It felt as though he had turned into a scavenger, and he even started to feel a bit disdainful of himself. 0

"Perhaps I chose the wrong direction," he reassured himself. "These areas are not far from the main road; there must be frequent travelers here, so naturally, there wouldn't be anything noteworthy." He decided to head further away from the main road. According to the map Old Lu had given him, that direction led to an endless range of mountains that the main road conveniently bypassed. This way, not only could he find something worthwhile, but he could also take a shortcut—so long as he stayed on course. 0

What he didn’t realize was that Old Lu’s map was marked according to someone of Old Lu’s caliber; many places that were easy for Old Lu could be deadly for him. The direction he chose was leading him toward a perilous area, which was precisely why the main road avoided those mountains. 0

As expected, as Mo Wen advanced further, more things caught his eye. Although it didn’t compare to Cloud Mist Forest, it validated his assumptions, and his initial excitement began to rekindle. However, preoccupied with scavenging, he failed to notice that both Demon Beasts and other creatures were gradually decreasing around him. The temperature in the surroundings seemed to drop slowly; however, this change was not easily perceptible to Mo Wen as he focused on finding treasures. Most importantly, he could still locate some reasonably strong Demon Beasts and employ his tactics to lure them away from their territories to gather herbs and materials. 0

Gradually, as he delved deeper, Mo Wen sensed something unusual. Based on his previous experiences in Cloud Mist Forest, if there were no beasts or weak Demon Beasts around, it likely indicated that this area belonged to some Chimera or powerful Demon Beast. Yet here, there was nothing at all; even the plants and herbs growing were predominantly Yin Chill types. He decided it was time to investigate the surroundings. 0

Standing atop a towering tree's crown and gazing outwards, he saw that the distant forest was shrouded in mist. At first glance, it resembled Cloud Mist Swamp; however, this mist did not rise into the air but formed a sea of fog at the forest's base. The low trees were submerged in mist while the tall trees' crowns remained above it like colorful islands scattered across a vibrant ocean of fog. 0
