"If you can safely bring back the Fire Lotus, I would naturally not stop you. I wish to resolve this matter as soon as possible so that your mother can recover," Zhu Chi said, gently patting his daughter's head with a bitter expression.
"But that guy seems just as unreliable as those before him. I'm afraid this time..."
"Oh? What did Xiao Hong notice?" Zhu Chi asked curiously why his daughter thought Mo Wen was just as unreliable as the others, while he found Mo Wen quite dependable.

"Ah!" Zhu Xiaohong exclaimed in surprise, realizing that the burly man Ran Xu was just a teenager.
"What are you exclaiming about? Hurry up and get back to your training!" Zhu Chi tapped her on the head.
Due to his spending at Huo Lou, Mo Wen naturally received special treatment from them, which included accommodation arrangements. He did not refuse this offer; after all, accommodations arranged by Huo Lou would be of good quality given their status in the area. Moreover, he had a transaction with Elder Zhu and was currently employed by him, so it was only natural for Huo Lou to provide lodging. Additionally, it ensured safety—there was an unwritten rule in town that anyone under Huo Lou's protection could not be harmed without risking their life.
The agreed-upon time with Elder Zhu was five days later. However, Mo Wen did not remain idle. The next day, he changed into a scholar's attire and began wandering around town again. He made purchases wherever he found something desirable. Although the town was slightly larger than Moro City, he managed to cover it all in two days. Thanks to Huo Lou's influence, Mo Wen had a whole floor to himself; there was only one guest room on that floor. For the remaining time, Mo Wen decided to stay in his room to organize his belongings. The Lava Skiffs and other equipment he had purchased needed refining; other useful items required sorting out. Most importantly, he needed to plant the Little Sapling he had acquired quickly since there would be no time to tend to it once he entered the Lava Sea.
Once inside the Ning Shen Realm, many tasks proceeded smoothly. For instance, refining equipment—though he hadn't purchased much, if he had used his previous methods for refining, it would have taken quite some time. Now, however, it only took him two hours to complete the refining process. During that time, he spent half an hour studying the Lava Skiff; yet with his current level of skill, he could only grasp a general understanding of it.
