Ye Xiaoying frowned in silence, realizing that he had indeed underestimated the Holy Witch Cult. However, thinking of Jiang Chen's presence eased his mind. If the leader of the Holy Witch Cult was truly at the Transcendent Realm, then his strength would likely be comparable to Jiang Chen's. A battle at the Transcendent Realm had not occurred for a century; if he could witness it firsthand, it would not be a wasted life, Ye Xiaoying thought to himself.
With this in mind, Ye Xiaoying glanced at Jiang Chen, who appeared calm and indifferent, showing little interest in the Saint Witch Sect Leader. This demeanor from Jiang Chen made Ye Xiaoying feel even more reassured.
Li Yang noticed the serious expressions on Zeng Xianyi and Ye Xiaoying's faces and spoke up again, "Brother Xianyi, I have a strategy that can capture all those from the Holy Witch Cult in one go."
"Go ahead," Zeng Xianyi replied.
"We can lure the Holy Witch Cult members to a remote forest and then directly use a Super Weapon to eliminate them all at once. This would minimize our losses. If we were to engage them slowly, we would surely be outmatched; just the Saint Witch Sect Leader alone could wipe us out," Li Yang explained.
"Using a Super Weapon here would level an entire mountain. The commotion would be too great and could cause panic," Zeng Xianyi pondered for a moment. He believed that martial matters should ideally be resolved through martial means.
"This is actually the least damaging approach. If we keep circling around the Holy Witch Cult, it will only waste time and effort. Besides, Brother Xianyi, your Martial Arts Special Forces are probably not a match for this evil sect; we would need other Martial Artists to assist us," Li Yang argued.
"That may not be the case. With Mr. Jiang, Ye Jian Sheng, and Instructor Liu here, we should be able to handle the Holy Witch Cult," Zeng Xianyi replied with a smile.
"Since you hold Mr. Jiang in such high regard, let's see his performance tomorrow," Li Yang said with a hint of a smile.
"Let's put aside business for tonight and enjoy some drinks," Zeng Xianyi raised his glass to change the subject.
However, the atmosphere at the table was noticeably tense; apart from Jiang Chen's calm demeanor, everyone else seemed uneasy. After some time, they finally wrapped up and returned to their rooms to rest, while Zeng Xianyi was pulled into a room by Li Yang for tea and conversation.
Naturally, their main topic of discussion revolved around Jiang Chen.
"Brother Xianyi, I'm not trying to criticize you, but that kid has some skills yet is incredibly arrogant and lacks basic decorum; his character is questionable," Li Yang said candidly now that it was just him and Zeng Xianyi.
He simply found Jiang Chen displeasing.
"I actually think Mr. Jiang is quite straightforward and composed. Put yourself in his shoes; if you had his level of power at such a young age, you'd probably be even more flamboyant," Zeng Xianyi countered, displaying a broader mindset.
"Brother Xianyi, you're overestimating him; I suspect he's not as capable as he seems," Li Yang replied dismissively.
Zeng Xianyi smiled without arguing further; words were futile. Whether Jiang Chen was truly capable or not would soon be revealed.
The next day, the group boarded two buses in plain clothes and set off for Xiangxi.
"We should first go to the hospital to see Liao Yangmai from the Liao Family. Last year, the Five Great Families of Xiangxi, led by the Liao Family, established a charitable foundation that has done a lot of good for Xiangxi this past year. Liao Yangmai has once again shown great courage; now that we are here, we should offer them comfort and encouragement," Li Yang said.
