September 30 | Observation Day One | Weather: Overcast, High Humidity | Location: Northern Campus Grove, Beneath the Second Banyan Tree
Members:
President Chen Yongshu (Recorder)
Vice President Chen Xincheng
Members Xu Rong, Lin Ruru
Observation Background:
Rumors indicate that in 1997, a senior student was assaulted beneath the second Banyan Tree and subsequently took her own life. It is said that the school handled the incident as a "death due to psychological factors," and it did not make the news. Since then, the area has become a forbidden zone among students.
Characteristics of the Rumor:
— Every year on this date at midnight, cries can be heard beneath the Banyan Tree.
— The roots of the Banyan Tree twist in a way that resembles a "human-shaped" shadow.
— If a red thread is wrapped around it three times while saying "I'm sorry," one may hear "She Forgives You" or "She Hasn't Forgiven You."
We decided to conduct continuous night observations for three nights.
Observation Record:
| 21:04 |
The four members arrived at the site. The Banyan Tree stands about five meters tall, its roots sprawling, surrounded by uncleaned fallen leaves. The ground is slippery, resembling congealed old blood.
| 21:23 |
Vice President Chen Xincheng wrapped a red thread around the tree three times as per the rumor and tied it to the trunk. He said "I'm sorry" three times, but nothing unusual occurred.
| 21:41 |
Member Xu Rong felt a chill on her back and reported hearing someone in the distance "breathing heavily and sobbing." The other three did not hear anything.
| 22:02 |
Lin Ruru stared intently at the trunk, claiming to see eyes peering through the cracks. After taking a photo, the image turned blurry, showing only a dark gray expanse.
| 22:31 |
President Chen Yongshu discovered a page in his notes with the words written: "It's not one of you who is meant to come; she has been waiting all along." All members denied writing it.
At 23:10, the red thread came loose, showing signs of wear and tear at the knot. Xu Rong suddenly broke down, recounting that a voice in her head kept repeating, "You are not the first, nor will you be the last."
At 23:34, all instruments (thermometers, voice recorders, mobile phones) failed. Upon returning to school, only the voice recorder briefly resumed functioning, capturing the following segments:
(Recorded Segment)
A female voice whispered, "Please remember for me, they never apologized."
Silence for ten seconds.
"Your group took her place; now who will be left behind?"
The Record Society concluded:
The society submitted a request the following day to designate the area around the Banyan Tree as a restricted zone, which was not approved. The school responded, "The North Side Forest Area was cleared in 2001; the Banyan Tree is not on school property, and rumors should be considered fictional."
We cannot prove what force caused the red thread to snap or the recording to distort that night. However, we all agree that no one should utter "I'm sorry" beneath the Banyan Tree again.
— End of Record

🧨 Title: [Urban Legend Challenge Thread] Do you dare? Come share your experiences with forbidden campus games
🧵 Posted by: @SoulHacker1997 | Posting Time: October 3, 2024, 22:43
Hello everyone! Recently, many urban legends have been trending at school again. I’ve compiled a few of the most popular urban legend games for your reference—some are said to really cause trouble, while others might just be kids messing around XD Feel free to add your school's versions!
——
🎮 1. Roll Call Ritual (also known as "The 45th Person in Class")
Legend has it: After ten o'clock at night, enter an empty classroom and choose any chair to sit in. Whisper the names of all your classmates; if you mention a nonexistent 45th name, you will see that person in class the next day.
🎮 2. Blood Pen Prayer
Legend has it that in front of the third mirror in the girls' restroom, you should write a passage of "Old School Rules" with a red pen. After finishing, turn around and face away from the mirror for five seconds. It is said that you will see another version of yourself, moving their lips but making no sound.
🎮 3. Red Thread Hide and Seek
The method involves preparing a red thread, a Kaowen Wanzi, and a School Map. After midnight, tie them together and bury them in a corner of the campus. Then shout "It's my turn!" and start counting down. It is said that if you hear someone reciting lines during the game, you cannot stop until dawn.
🎮 4. The Eyes on the Door of the Instructor's Office
According to legend, between five and six o'clock on Wednesday afternoons, the glass on the back door of the instructor's office reflects "A Pair Of Eyes That Are Not Your Own". Those who see it will have the same dream for three consecutive days, featuring a Classroom Door that can never be opened.

🔻@Cleaning God|October 3rd 23:02:
I tried the first one, but nothing happened. The next day, someone sat next to me, but I couldn't remember who they were, and the teacher didn't call their name either. Looking back now, I can't even recall what they looked like.
🔻@ Vengeful Spirits Don't Take a Paycheck |October 3rd 23:09:
I did the one with the red pen and saw my reflection in the mirror smiling at me when I wasn't smiling at all.
🔻@Little Bear Biscuit|October 4th 00:15:
I fainted halfway through the blood pen thing; it was really bizarre. I remember hearing my own voice reciting some strange text, something like "Today No One Is Absent".
🔻@Do Not Sit in the Corner|October 4th 00:47:
This is hilarious! What era are we in that people still believe this? The one who played with the blood pen probably just had too much stress; believing in these things means you've already lost (laughing emoji).
🔻@Mira.Mira|October 4th 01:12:
Last night, I played that roll call game. I recited names one by one, and then suddenly a name popped into my head—"Huang Qianqian".
There’s no one by that name in our class, but for some reason, it felt so natural as if she had always been there.
All day today, I've seen her sitting next to me.
I asked A Quan, and he said I was out of my mind; there was no one at that location.
She kept looking at me and smiling. She said she had been waiting for a long time and thanked me for letting her sit again.
Right now, I’m hiding in the bathroom writing this because she just said, “We just need one more person to finish class.”

🧧 Title: [Legend of the Forbidden Zone] Does anyone know about the Senior Sister under the Banyan Tree in the north? This is not a joke.
🧾 Content:
I know most of the posts here are just nonsense or gossip about clubs, but this is real. At least, I want everyone to know that some things won’t disappear just because you don’t believe in them.
This story has been circulating since my mom's time. She also graduated from our school and said that back then, there was an old basketball court behind the school, with a row of Banyan Trees beside it. The innermost tree had roots that looked like snakes, with the soil all raised up.
Under that tree, someone was hanged.
Of course, the school never admitted it, but some adults from 1997 still remember what happened; they just don’t talk about it. The story back then was that “a female student committed suicide due to overwhelming pressure,” but in reality… she was called to the Counseling Room for a makeup exam and then disappeared. Eventually, someone found her shoes neatly lined up under the Banyan Tree on the back mountain, with a red headband tied to the roots.
Rumor has it that a few boys went missing for two hours that night; later, one of them hanged himself at home in exactly the same position as that female student.
The remaining boys gradually dropped out or transferred schools; they can’t be found in the student records system. I’ve tried to check, and they really aren’t there.
The school only says that area isn’t part of the campus and tells us not to go in. But you know how it is—the more they say that, the more people want to go.
I have a Senior Sister who is part of the Supernatural Research Society; she said they really tried a ritual:
✔ Wrap red thread around the tree three times,
✔ At exactly midnight,
✔ Then say “I’m sorry” three times to the tree.
She said the first sound she heard was just the Wind Sound, but strangely it had a rhythm, like someone crying but choking on their own sobs.
The second time, someone heard a faint female voice say, "She Hasn't Forgiven You."
Another person heard, "She Forgives You," but that person seemed to forget everything the next day—clubs, classes, even the fact that they had once been a member.
The scariest part was that some people didn’t hear any sound at all—yet in the recording device, there was a whisper: "Remember for me, they did not apologize."
I saw that recording, and I swear it wasn’t edited; the voice sounded like it seeped out from the mud.
She didn’t want revenge; she just didn’t want to be treated as if nothing had happened.
I’m not saying this to encourage anyone to try it, but recently some lower-grade students have been taking photos with red tape at the corner, claiming they want to challenge an Urban Legend. I sincerely urge you not to play with this; this is not an Urban Legend. It’s the dirtiest piece of memory, soaked in blood and drowned, now slowly drying out.
That tree wasn’t waiting for someone to approach; it was waiting for someone to return.
The last time I passed by there was last week in the evening. I noticed several new footprints on the ground, the kind that had sunk into the wet soil, and there was a Red Headband… not a Hair Tie, but a Headband, wet.
I only remember it had written on it:
"This is Her Classroom; attendance has not yet concluded."
