Mu Jingkui led her into a cave, removed his long robe, and spread it on the ground before laying her down on it. He turned his back to her and said, "Here, no one will know what happens." With that, he stood up and walked towards the exit, still facing away from her.
"Wait, wait." A delicate white hand reached out from behind to grasp his hand, and then two burning arms wrapped around his waist from behind.
"You?" He turned around abruptly and saw Ye Jieyu's mouth and nose beginning to bleed, droplets falling to the ground with a soft thud.
Ye Jieyu looked at him pitifully, her desires overwhelming her reason. She could not control her body or stop herself from saying those words: "Stay with me for one night. It will settle the debt you owe me. After tonight, you can kill me."
She released his hand and fell back, her frail body unable to withstand the onslaught of desire, curling up in spasms.
Their entangled bodies were like doomed lovebirds; she clung tightly to his strong waist. As he entered her, tears that had been welling in her eyes finally broke free.
Mu Jingkui suddenly halted, his gaze locking onto her tears as if his heart were gripped by an invisible hand. "Damn it," he muttered under his breath, pulling away sharply. "No... stop."
Ye Jieyu grabbed his arm desperately, her watery eyes pleading with him, her small face twisted by desire.
In love, those who care more often suffer deeper wounds.
She loved him but could not express it fully. She held onto him tightly, her gaze unwavering.
In that moment, Mu Jingkui's mind went blank; there were no signals of slaughter or hostility—only the deep affection reflected in a woman's eyes.
He simply did not understand why she looked at him that way.
"I hope you won't regret it. Tomorrow, I will definitely take your life." With that, he suddenly lowered his body.
"I never knew how to write the word 'regret,'" Ye Jieyu said with a charming smile, pulling his head down and tilting her own to offer her lips.
Mu Jingkui responded fiercely to her kiss, feeling something being forcefully pushed into his throat by her tongue. In an instant, a strange fragrance filled his mouth, and his consciousness began to blur little by little.
...
Ye Jieyu escaped.
Mu Jingkui stared blankly at the empty pile of grass beside him, his expression twisted in horror. The events of last night replayed vividly in his mind; it had been so entwined, giving a sense of an ending only in death.
Ye Jieyu, where do you think you can escape to? Picking up a wooden hairpin she had left behind, he forcibly suppressed the strange feelings surging from within him, his narrowed cold eyes flashing with murderous intent.
When Mu Jingkui returned to Mu Men Inn, Beiming stood there with a constipated expression, surrounded by the Four Great Protectors of the demonic sect and a crowd of followers, blocking the inn completely.
The waiter sat on the ground, tears and snot streaming down his face. "Master, the landlady is really not here. Half a month ago, she instructed that starting today, Mu Men Inn would be closed for renovations."
Closed for renovations?
Mu Jingkui, hiding in a corner, was taken aback. Had she anticipated this day long ago?
"Ye Jieyu, so you had it all planned out. Marrying me was just a way to steal the Tian Xiang Dou Kou."
Beiming was furious and kicked the waiter aside. "Burn down the inn!"
"But we can't do that! The landlady left a message," the waiter quickly scrambled to his feet.
"What message?"
The waiter hesitated for a moment before saying, "The landlady said that the important things have already been placed under the bed in the new house. She also mentioned that marrying the sect leader was just a way to extract some secrets from her. She has written the incantation on the cover, and furthermore, to practice this technique, one must first castrate themselves. Therefore, she decided to cancel the wedding. Also, Mu Men Inn has already been given to Wudang's sect leader, so now the owner is Zhang Sanfeng."
"You despicable Ye Jieyu! Using Zhang the old Daoist to pressure me!" Beiming's handsome face twisted in anger as he looked up at the second floor of the inn, where several Wudang disciples were glaring at him with cold expressions.
"Hmph, one day I will flatten Mu Men Inn." With that, he turned and left with his followers in a grand procession.
The waiter watched Beiming leave and let out a huge sigh of relief. Then he suddenly called out to a corner, "Mu Jingkui, the landlady left a message. She is waiting for you at Yao Wang Gu to collect her head."
