In the distance, a "huge" island emerged. To Mo Wen, it was indeed massive, for during his time in the Lava Sea, he had seen many islands, most of which were only a few zhang in size, with the largest being no more than a mile across. However, the island before him spanned at least twenty to thirty miles, resembling a colossal Demon Beast lying in the Lava. Based on his deductions, this must be the Foot of the Mountain left behind by the collapse of a great mountain on land. From his observations over the past few days, he was certain that the enormous pillars protruding from the land's surface were remnants of those great mountains; these pillars were their roots. 0

Sailing around the island on his Xing Zhou, Mo Wen confirmed that there were no powerful Demon Beasts residing nearby before he set foot on the island. The island was elongated and was actually formed by two closely adjacent islands. On one corner of the larger island stood a small peak that rose higher than the rest. Mo Wen decided to climb that Small Peak for a better view. 0

"Ha ha! I will stand atop this peak and survey all the mountains below!" After spending so much time climbing those pillars, this was his first time scaling a mountain. Upon reaching the top of Xiao Shan, he couldn't help but laugh heartily, feeling an urge to burst into song. As he looked around, all he could see was the fiery red lava; there were no unique landscapes to admire. The surrounding sea was eerily quiet, with only the occasional sound of stones falling from the giant pillars into the lava breaking the silence. However, he had grown accustomed to such an environment; if there were any loud disturbances, it would feel abnormal. 0

"What a barren land," he sighed as he stood atop the mountain. There was nothing on such a large island. During his earlier exploration around the island, he hadn't discovered any deposits within the lava either. However, his purpose for coming to this island wasn't treasure hunting but rather to find a place to rest. Although he had rested in caves at the foot of those mountains while sailing through the Lava Sea, none offered the same sense of ease as this place. Moreover, Xiao Hei's condition had stabilized and needed a suitable area for cultivation. While Square Inch World provided convenience and safety, if Xiao Hei suddenly required an increased amount of spiritual energy for transformation, the Magic Circle would not be able to supply it in time. This location had abundant and stable Fire Spirit Power, making it an ideal place for Xiao Hei's cultivation. 0

Over two days, he meticulously examined every inch of the island before returning to the mountain's corner. He decided to establish Xiao Hei's cultivation site there. Initially, he intended to place Xiao Hei within the Lava Sea itself since it offered a hidden refuge; however, it was uncertain whether Xiao Hei could remain there long-term. As for himself, it was absolutely impossible—even with the protection of a Magic Circle. After settling Xiao Hei in place, he still had many tasks ahead: exploring nearby areas for treasures and preparing supplies for himself. During these past six months, wherever Mo Wen went, nothing remained untouched. Of course, after being washed away by Lava Storms, even herbs that once grew in mountain caves had been completely swept away. Throughout his journey, he had only managed to collect a few herbs; however, other gains made him very satisfied. Every time he thought about what he had achieved on this trip, he even felt grateful toward those massive storms—if not for their powerful waves pushing outward, his belongings would still be scattered at the bottom of the Lava Sea. 0
