As night fell, the Glorious Demon Fortress was shrouded in a thin veil of magical mist, resembling a slumbering giant.
Aelia stood by Luna's Cradle, her gaze complex, tinged with a hint of determination that was hard to detect.
Luna's small hand tightly clutched a crystal-clear magical stone, emanating a soft glow. This was the treasure Luna had secretly gifted to Aelia—the True Eye.
“Madam, it’s late. You should rest,” Qin Si gently reminded her, sensing that the atmosphere tonight was somewhat unusual.
Aelia took a deep breath, gently caressing Luna's soft little face before pressing a kiss on her forehead.
“Luna, Mommy needs to step out for a moment. I’ll be back soon.” Her voice trembled slightly as she fought back tears.
Just as Aelia turned to leave, the True Eye in her hand suddenly blazed with light, shooting a blinding beam deep into the Magic Castle and automatically activating the hidden Ancient Magic Circle within.
The entire Magic Castle began to tremble slightly, powerful Magical Fluctuations filling the air, as if something terrifying was about to awaken.
“Not good! The Magic Circle has been triggered!” A cold voice rang out. Lucius, the Third Son of the Demon Fortress, appeared at the end of the corridor, holding a wand intricately carved with complex Magic Runes, his expression grave.
He began to chant incantations, and waves of Magic Runes flew from his wand, intertwining to form a massive Magic Net that enveloped the agitated Magic Circle, temporarily suppressing its energy fluctuations.
“Third Young Master Lucius, what’s happening?” Qin Si asked in panic. She had never witnessed such powerful Magical Fluctuations; it felt as though the entire Magic Castle was on the brink of collapse.
Lucius did not answer; he was fully focused on controlling the Magic Net, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
He sensed that this force did not originate from the Magic Castle itself but rather from some external interference that seemed to be connected to the magical stone Luna held…
The next morning, when Eldest Brother, Second Brother, and Brother San discovered that Mother Aelia had vanished without a word, chaos erupted throughout the Magic Castle.
Leonard feigned calmness while his heart raced with anxiety.
He forced himself to appear nonchalant as he instructed servants to search for Aelia’s whereabouts, but his eyes flickered nervously, unable to meet those of his three sons directly.
After breakfast, the three brothers gathered in Luna's room, and the atmosphere was heavy with tension.
“Mother must have discovered something!” the eldest brother said in a low voice, his face pale, his disabled twin legs trembling slightly from the Magic Backlash.
Following the guidance of the Original Plot, Luna found a way to lift his curse—a type of Magic Herb that grows in the Extreme Cold Land.
After taking it, the long-dormant Magical Power within him was reignited. He triumphed in the recent Magic Arena, winning three championships and bringing glory back to the family, much to everyone's delight.
Now, he had regained his powerful abilities and was more determined than ever to protect his family.
“I think so too,” Second Brother agreed. He had been deceived by a close friend and fell into a Magic Dilemma. Thanks to Luna's revelation of the solution, he managed to escape danger.
Now, he was filled with gratitude towards Luna and had rekindled hope for his future in magic.
“We must find Mother and protect her!” Brother San clenched his fists, his gaze resolute.
Once misled by Talent Misguidance in magic, he had wasted his training. However, under Luna's advice and guidance, he finally awakened from his stupor, determined to change and return to the right path of magical cultivation.
Luna lay in her Cradle, observing her three brothers' anxious expressions while secretly plotting.
She knew Aelia's departure was not a coincidence but part of her plan.
Under Luna's hint, Aelia had learned the truth about her husband Leonard's betrayal.
The years of loving illusions shattered in an instant; she felt as if struck by lightning, her world collapsing around her, suffering deeply within.
The Glorious Demon Fortress, once a symbol of happiness and honor, had now become a cage that imprisoned her.
She chose to leave in search of new hope and to protect herself and the child within her.
Within the Glorious Demon Fortress, dark currents stirred.
Leonard paced anxiously in his study, a sense of unease gnawing at him; Aelia's sudden departure caught him off guard.
He walked to the window and gazed at the gloomy sky in the distance, murmuring to himself, “Aelia, where have you gone…”
Suddenly, a servant rushed in, panic written all over his pale face. He stammered, "Lord of the Fortress, it's bad... the lady, she..."
Leonard spun around abruptly, grabbing the servant by the collar and demanding, "What happened to the lady?!"
The servant trembled, pointing out the window as he spoke, "The lady... she has surrounded the Magic Castle with the Frostwolf Guard!" Leonard felt as if he had been struck by lightning, staggering back a few steps and knocking over a nearby bookshelf.
Books scattered across the floor with dull thuds, but they could not drown out the sound of his racing heartbeat.
He never expected that Aelia, who had always been gentle and obedient, would take such action.
He dashed to the window and saw Aelia outside the Magic Castle, clad in armor and exuding a commanding presence. Behind her stood the Frostwolf Guard in perfect formation, their weapons glowing with magical light under the darkened sky, creating an atmosphere of impending doom.
The cold wind howled past, lifting Aelia's hem and making it flutter like a battle flag.
A chill ran through Leonard, shooting from his feet to the top of his head.
He clenched his fists instinctively, cold sweat forming in his palms.
Struggling to regain his composure, he took a deep breath and shouted towards the door, "Get someone! Prepare the horses! I need to go out!" At that moment, a burst of clear laughter echoed from Luna's room. The sound reverberated eerily through the empty halls of the Magic Castle.
Leonard turned sharply, an ominous feeling rising within him... "Father, where are you going?" Lucius appeared at the doorway without him noticing. He held a wand in hand, a knowing smile playing at the corners of his mouth. His tone was icy, like a judgment from hell.
