“Mom,” Luna's youthful voice was surprisingly firm, “I want to go to the Magic Castle.” She stood tall for her small stature, her emerald eyes sparkling with wisdom beyond her years. “I can solve everything, change our Destiny, and restore the Magic Castle to its former glory.”
Aelia was taken aback, looking at her daughter with a whirlwind of emotions swirling inside her.
Luna's words struck her like a Jing Lei, stirring up a tempest in her heart.
Worry, doubt, and hope intertwined, making it hard for her to breathe.
She worried for her daughter's safety, doubted whether she truly had the ability to change anything, yet she also hoped for a miracle.
Trembling, she reached out to stroke Luna's soft golden hair.
As night fell, the stars twinkled above.
Luna quietly slipped out of her room, wanting to say goodbye to her Brothers.
However, she was surprised to find them gathered in the study, surrounding a table filled with various items shimmering with magical light.
Her eldest brother carefully set a gem glowing with blue light into a ring, while the Second Brother was drawing intricate Magic Runes on a piece of Leather. Brother San was continuously adjusting a uniquely shaped wand.
“What are you all doing?” Luna asked in astonishment.
“Sister, we know you’re going to the Magic Castle,” her eldest brother looked up.
“These are magical Protective items we prepared for you,” the Second Brother added. “We hope they can help you.”
“Sister, make sure you come back safely,” Brother San's voice trembled slightly.
A warm current surged within Luna, and her eyes glistened with unshed tears.
She knew that her brothers' love for her was deep and selfless.
She tightly embraced her brothers, feeling their warm embrace, her heart filled with strength.
The next morning, the sun shone brightly, and the air was filled with the fragrance of flowers and the songs of birds.
In front of the gates of the Magic Castle, Luna's family was ready.
Luna wore a white dress, looking like a little angel—pure and beautiful.
A confident smile radiated from her face, while her eldest brother, Second Brother, and Brother San were dressed in solemn black suits, their expressions serious as they silently stood guard beside Luna.
At some point, the servants of the Magic Castle had gathered in front of the gate. Some were elderly and frail, while others were young and strong, but all their faces were marked with worry and hope.
An old servant approached Luna with trembling steps, gently stroking her arm as he said, "Young Miss, you must return safely."
A young servant handed Luna a vibrant red rose, saying, "Young Miss, I wish you all the best."
Luna gladly accepted everyone's blessings, a radiant smile spreading across her face.
Her smile was like sunshine in winter, warming everyone's hearts.
The servants cheered for Luna, creating a warm and touching scene filled with hope.
"Eldest Brother, Second Brother, Brother San, I'm leaving," Luna turned around reluctantly to bid farewell to her brothers.
"Sister, take care," her eldest brother said solemnly. "Leave everything at home to us; you can go with peace of mind."
Luna nodded and resolutely walked toward the gates of the Magic Castle.
Her figure gradually disappeared into the darkness of the castle, leaving only a determined silhouette.
Inside the Magic Castle, the air was heavy and the atmosphere oppressive.
Luna walked cautiously down the long corridor, her footsteps light and nearly silent.
She glanced around, noticing that the walls were adorned with ancient oil paintings depicting the portraits of the castle's past masters.
Their gazes were deep, as if concealing countless secrets.
Luna was filled with curiosity, yet a hint of unease crept into her heart.
Suddenly, she felt a strange movement in her pocket.
She quickly reached in to feel around, only to discover that the small bag containing her Magic Artifacts was missing!
"Where's my bag?" Luna gasped, her face turning pale in an instant.
Her petite figure appeared especially fragile in the dimly lit corridor. She anxiously turned in circles, her heart racing like a startled deer.
That little bag had been meticulously prepared; it contained the Magic Artifacts crafted by her Brothers, her greatest reliance for this journey.
Now that it was gone, it felt as if a warrior had lost their weapon, and a shadow of fear enveloped her.
"Luna!" A familiar voice shattered the silence of the corridor.
Luna looked up abruptly to see Aelia hurrying toward her, worry etched across her face.
"Mom!" Luna could no longer contain her feelings of grievance and dashed forward, burying herself in Aelia's warm embrace.
Aelia held her daughter tightly, silent tears streaming down Luna's face.
She stroked Luna's soft golden hair, feeling her small body tremble in her embrace, her heart aching with concern.
"My darling, are you alright? You scared Mommy to death!"
Leonard stood nearby, watching the deep bond between mother and daughter unfold, a hint of discomfort flashing across his face.
Clearing his throat, he said, "Aelia, Luna, it's good that you're both safe. The situation in the Magic Castle is complicated; you need to be careful."
Luna peeked out from Aelia's arms, her emerald eyes shimmering with tears as she said in a baby voice, "Mommy, don't cry. Luna will protect you."
Aelia smiled through her tears and gently wiped away the traces of sorrow from her daughter's face.
"Alright, Mommy believes in you." She gazed lovingly at Luna, filled with pride and comfort.
Standing to the side, Lucius wore a handsome face marked by worry. He stepped forward and asked, "Luna, how much do you know about the situation inside the Magic Castle?"
Luna took a deep breath, striving to calm herself.
She recalled the descriptions of the Magic Castle from the original book: filled with traps and secret passages, guarded by powerful magic protecting the Core Area.
At this moment, the internal Magical Fluctuation of the Magic Castle was unusually chaotic, clearly affected by some external force.
"According to the records in the original book," Luna's youthful voice echoed in the empty corridor, "the Core Area of the Magic Castle is protected by a powerful Magic Circle. This Magic Circle is formed from the Heart's Blood of past Lords and is immensely powerful. However, it has one weakness..."
Qin Si stood nearby, listening intently to Luna's account.
Her slender fingers gripped Hem tightly, nearly suffocating with tension.
Luna continued, "The weakness of this Magic Circle lies in its energy source—a gem known as 'Xing Hui.' If 'Xing Hui' is destroyed or taken away, the entire Magic Circle will collapse, and the defenses of the Magic Castle will crumble."
"'Xing Hui'..." Lucius murmured the name, his brow furrowed. "I've never heard of this gem."
"Because it is hidden in a secret place," Luna explained. "Only the Lords of past generations know its location."
"What do we do now?" Qin Si asked anxiously.
Luna glanced around, her gaze landing on the entrance to the Magic Castle.
"We must first enter the Core Area of the Magic Castle and find 'Xing Hui' to completely resolve this crisis."
Aelia's heart sank again; she tightly grasped Luna's small hand and said worriedly, "Luna, it's too dangerous inside the Magic Castle. Are you really going?"
Luna nodded firmly. "Mom, I have to go. It's the only way to protect you and my brothers, to safeguard our home."
At the entrance of the Magic Castle, Luna raised her small hand and chanted softly, a faint Golden Radiance enveloping everyone.
This was a protective spell she cast using her own magical power, capable of resisting some of the magical attacks within the Magic Castle.
"Remember," Luna said earnestly, "once we enter the Magic Castle, stay close to me and don't get separated."
Aelia looked at her daughter's small figure, filled with worry and reluctance.
How she wished she could take on everything for her daughter, but she knew she didn't have that ability.
"Luna, please be careful," Aelia's voice trembled as tears blurred her vision once more.
Luna gave Aelia a reassuring smile.
"Mom, don't worry, I'll be back safe," Luna said.
She turned to face the Entrance of the Magic Castle and took a deep breath.
She knew that even greater dangers awaited her ahead.
But she felt no fear, for her heart was filled with hope and courage.
"We're ready," Lucius and Qin Si replied in unison.
Luna nodded. "Then let's go." The moment they stepped into the Entrance of the Magic Castle, the world seemed to warp around them.
A powerful Magical Fluctuation swept over them, blurring everything in sight as colorful lights flickered and intertwined, dazzling like a kaleidoscope.
Luna felt a dizzying sensation, her stomach churning as if she were caught in a rapidly spinning top.
A buzzing sound filled her ears, like countless bees flitting about.
A strange Energy Flow coursed through her body, sending tingling sensations that made her shiver involuntarily.
"We're in!" Luna exclaimed excitedly, her voice brimming with thrill and anticipation.
The dizziness gradually faded, and the scene before her became clearer.
The interior of the Magic Castle was strikingly different from the outside; the towering Dome was embedded with shimmering Magic Water crystals that emitted a soft glow, illuminating the entire hall.
Intricate Magic Runes were carved into the walls, exuding an ancient and mysterious aura.
The air was infused with a faint scent of Magic Element, refreshing and invigorating.
Luna took a deep breath, feeling the rich magical atmosphere within the Magic Castle, her heart filled with excitement and anticipation.
She could almost envision herself unraveling the crisis of the Magic Castle and changing her family's destiny.
Clenching her small fists tightly, determination sparkled in her eyes.
However, just as she was immersed in the joy of breaking through, an unexpected change occurred.
A shadow, swift as lightning, flashed past her from behind.
Luna felt a sudden lightness on her back; the small bag that had been bulging with items had vanished without a trace!
"My bag!" Luna exclaimed, spinning around only to catch a glimpse of a blurred figure disappearing around the corner of the corridor.
Shock, frustration, and panic surged within her, leaving Luna frozen in place as if struck by lightning.
That small bag was crucial for her journey; it contained the magic artifacts meticulously crafted by her brothers, her greatest reliance against the crisis of the Magic Castle.
Now that the bag was lost, she felt like a soldier without weapons, facing a formidable enemy, overwhelmed by a sense of helplessness.
Cold sweat trickled down her forehead, dampening the stray hairs at her temples.
Her breathing grew urgent, and her heart raced violently in her chest as if it might leap out at any moment.
She bit down on her lower lip tightly, struggling to hold back the tears that threatened to spill over.
"What happened?" Aelia noticed Luna's distress and quickly asked, concern lacing her voice.
Luna turned to look at her mother’s anxious face, feeling even more troubled inside.
She didn't want to worry Mother, but she couldn't hide the fear and unease in her heart.
"My... my bag is missing..." Luna's voice trembled, nearly breaking into tears.
Aelia's expression changed instantly as she hurried over to check.
She carefully examined Luna's clothes and the surrounding area but found no trace of Silk.
"Don't panic, we'll search slowly," Aelia reassured her, though her own heart was filled with anxiety.
Luna shook her head; retrieving the bag seemed more difficult than climbing to the heavens.
"No, it's too late..." Luna murmured to herself.
Beside them, Lucius and Qin Si also became aware of the seriousness of the situation, their expressions turning grave.
"Luna, do you remember what was in the bag?" Lucius asked.
Luna took a deep breath, trying to calm herself.
She recalled the items in the bag: a Magic Cloak that granted invisibility, a talisman that could withstand magical attacks, and a potion that restored magical energy... all crafted by her Brothers with great effort and power to protect her, now fallen into unknown hands.
"They're all... very important Magic Artifacts..." Luna's voice was low and hoarse, as if she had lost all vitality.
Qin Si furrowed her brow tightly; she felt something was off about this matter.
The Magic Castle was heavily guarded, and outsiders could not enter at all, let alone steal Luna's bag with such precision.
"Could it be..." Qin Si suddenly thought of something, her face turning pale.
“What is it?” Lucius asked anxiously.
Qin Si did not answer but turned to look at Leonard.
Leonard sensed Qin Si's gaze and felt a jolt of apprehension in his heart.
He feigned calmness and asked, “What’s wrong?”
Qin Si remained silent, staring intently at him, the air thick with tension, as if it were the calm before a storm.
Suddenly, footsteps echoed from deep within the corridor, shattering the standoff.
“Who’s there?” Lucius asked warily.
