Luna's delicate little finger pointed at Leonard's neck, breaking the stillness in the study.
Her voice was crisp, yet it struck Aelia like a bolt of lightning, shattering the last vestige of hope within her.
"Mother, what is this?"
Only then did Aelia notice the small black mark on Leonard's neck, usually hidden beneath his collar, lying in wait like a venomous spider.
The mark was tiny, nearly undetectable unless one looked closely, but at that moment, it appeared to Aelia as a black hole, consuming all her hope and trust.
What was it?
Aelia's mind went blank.
After years of marriage, she had never noticed this mark.
A wave of coldness surged from her tailbone, racing up to the crown of her head.
She felt a tingling sensation on her scalp, as if an invisible hand was tightly gripping her throat.
Leonard's body trembled suddenly, as if pricked by a needle.
He lifted his head and reached out to cover the mark, but his gesture seemed so pale and powerless.
Watching Leonard's reaction confirmed Luna's suspicions.
In her past life as a Great Mage, her sensitivity to magic far exceeded that of ordinary people.
Just moments ago, she had keenly sensed an unfamiliar magical energy emanating from Leonard.
The energy was cold and sinister, completely at odds with Leonard's own light magic.
She knew there was something wrong.

Aelia felt as if struck by lightning, her body swaying unsteadily.
She staggered back a few steps, gripping the desk to steady herself.
Her complexion was as Pale as paper, her Lips trembling, unable to utter a word.

The two words struck her heart like a heavy hammer.
Years of love and trust—were they all a lie?
The man who once swore to love and protect her forever had stabbed her in the back?
Aelia felt the world spin around her; years of romantic fantasies shattered in an instant, replaced by endless anger and sorrow.
Her heart felt as if it were torn into pieces, bleeding profusely.
“No… it’s impossible…” Aelia's voice was hoarse, trembling slightly.
She was unwilling to believe it, and she dared not accept it.
She would rather convince herself that she was trapped in a nightmare, and that everything would return to normal once she woke up.
Suddenly, she grabbed Leonard by the collar, yanking him up from the ground.
Her fingers tightened around his throat, Ailya's White Nails digging deeply into his skin.
“Tell me this isn’t real! Tell me you’re lying to me!” Aelia demanded.
Leonard struggled painfully, his face turning a deep shade of purple.
He opened his mouth, trying to say something, but all that came out were muffled sobs.
He couldn’t meet Aelia’s gaze; his eyes flickered with fear and guilt.
Seeing Leonard's reaction, Aelia's heart sank completely.
She knew Luna had spoken the truth.
Her husband, the man she had loved for so many years, had truly betrayed her.
Aelia felt a wave of dizziness wash over her, her body losing all strength.
She released her grip and collapsed helplessly onto the ground, tears streaming down her face like pearls slipping from a broken string.
Luna quietly walked over to Aelia and gently embraced her.
Her small hands softly patted Aelia's back, trying to offer some comfort.
She knew that what Aelia needed at that moment was not comfort, but strength.
"Mother, don't be sad," Luna said in a soft yet firm voice.
"Now is not the time to cry. We need to pull ourselves together, protect the Magic Castle, and safeguard our family."
Aelia lifted her head and looked at Luna's innocent face, feeling a warm current surge within her.
She wiped away her tears, took a deep breath, and tried to calm herself.
Yes, now was not the time for tears.
She had more important things to do.
She couldn't let Leonard's scheme succeed; she had to protect the Magic Castle and her children.
"Thank you, Luna," Aelia said, her voice hoarse but filled with determination.
"You have helped me see the truth. What should we do next?"
Luna looked at Aelia.
"Mother, Leonard's betrayal is not just an emotional one; it is part of a larger conspiracy." Luna's tone grew serious.
“He has colluded with outsiders to seize control of the Magic Castle. We must stop him.”
Aelia nodded, having become aware of this as well.
Leonard had spent a considerable amount of money and resources on Leonard's Concubine, clearly indicating that it was not just a simple affair.
He must have a larger scheme in mind.
“What should we do?” Aelia asked.
“First, we need to stabilize the situation at the Magic Castle and ensure that Leonard doesn’t realize we are aware of his plot,” Luna replied.
“Then, we must investigate secretly, identify his accomplices, and capture them all.”
“Alright, let’s do that.” Aelia nodded.
She stood up. “Luna, do you have any plans?”
Luna smiled slightly. “I have some ideas already. However, we need assistance.” She paused and looked outside the study.
“Elder Brother, Second Brother, Brother San—they are our family and our most reliable allies.”
Aelia’s elder brother had been disabled due to the Magic Backlash, Second Brother was trapped in difficulties caused by a deceitful friend, and Brother San had neglected his training due to his exceptional talent.
Can they really be of help?
Luna seemed to see through Aelia’s thoughts. She shook her head and said, “Mother, they are just temporarily lost. As long as we show them the way, they will surely regain their strength and become our support.”
Aelia took a deep breath and nodded. "Alright, let's go find them."
The two left the study and headed towards her brother's room.
Meanwhile, in another part of the Magic Castle, Qin Si was anxiously awaiting Aelia's arrival.
She had gathered all the loyal servants and guards of the Magic Castle as instructed by Aelia, preparing for any potential upheaval.

And she had to do everything in her power to protect the Magic Castle and her master.
As night fell, the Glorious Demon Fortress was shrouded in shadows.
Beneath the calm surface, dark currents surged, and danger lurked everywhere.
A battle concerning the Magic Castle's Destiny was about to unfold...
Luna stopped in her tracks and gazed into the distance.
"The show is about to begin," she murmured to herself.
"Luna, what are you talking about?" Aelia asked, puzzled.
Luna smiled mysteriously without answering. She simply took Aelia's hand and quickened her pace.
"Mother, let's go. Brother is still waiting for us."
Leonard's face resembled a spilled palette, a riot of colors, vibrant and chaotic.
First came terror, then anger, and finally it settled into a madness that suggested a desperate fight to the death.
His once-handsome eyes were now filled with Blood Vein, like two ravenous beasts eager to devour Luna alive.
"You wretched girl! You... you dare!" Leonard's voice was hoarse, like an old bellows, each word dripping with intense hatred.
He suddenly swung his hand, unleashing a surge of black Magical Energy from his palm that rushed towards Aelia and Luna.
The energy carried a nauseating stench, as if it had crawled up from the depths of hell.
Luna had anticipated this.
Deep within her seemingly innocent eyes burned the flame of wisdom.
With a gentle wave of her hand, a golden magical barrier sprang up before them, firmly blocking the black energy.
"Father, what are you doing?" A voice rang out, slightly childish yet filled with authority.
Lucius stepped out from the shadows of the study, disappointment etched on his face, but more than that, determination.
He looked at Leonard,
Leonard's expression darkened further upon seeing Lucius.
He resembled a cat whose tail had been stepped on, hissing, "Lucius! Are you going to betray me too? Have you forgotten that I am your father!"
Lucius shook his head and sighed, "Father, I have not betrayed you. It is you who have betrayed us, betrayed the Magic Castle. You have been blinded by dark forces and have embarked on an irreversible path."
"Nonsense! What dark forces! I am only fighting for the future of the Magic Castle! For our glory!" Leonard roared madly, his demeanor resembling that of a lunatic, completely losing the calm and elegance he once possessed.
The Magical Fluctuation around him grew increasingly intense, like a volcano on the verge of eruption.
Aelia looked at Leonard, her heart filled with sorrow.
The man she once loved had now become this way.
Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she spoke in a low voice, "Leonard, you are beyond saving. Surrender now and stop clinging to your delusions."
"Surrender? Hahaha... Do you think that with just the few of you, you can stop me?" Leonard let out a maniacal laugh, stomping his foot violently, causing the entire study to shake.
"Today, I will show you who the true master of the Magic Castle is!" With Leonard's Ailya's Roar, countless Black Figures surged from every corner of the study.
They were the Dead Warriors secretly trained by Leonard, each possessing powerful dark Magical Power.
The battle was about to begin!
Luna stood in front of Aelia, her small frame radiating a formidable aura.
She gazed at the approaching shadows, a cold smile curling at her lips.
"Since that's the case, let me entertain you."
At that moment, her elder brother, Second Brother, and Brother San also arrived.
They stood beside Aelia and Luna, and although they had all experienced setbacks and confusion, in this moment, they found their direction and purpose.
“Mother, Luna, we’re here!” The eldest brother's voice was deep and powerful; he leaned on his cane but stood tall.
The Magical Fluctuation surrounding him was faint yet carried an indomitable spirit.
“Father has gone mad; we cannot let him continue down this wrong path!” Second Brother exclaimed.
“Hmph, it’s been a while since I’ve stretched my muscles. Let me teach these ignorant fools a lesson today!” Brother San's face showed a hint of excitement as he rubbed his hands together, eager to engage.
Seeing his children standing alongside Aelia and Luna made Leonard tremble with rage.
He pointed at them, roaring, “You… you ungrateful wretches! How dare you betray me!”
“Father, you were the one who betrayed us first!” Lucius shouted. “You sold out the interests of the Magic Castle for your own selfish desires; we will not allow you to do this!”
“Good! Good! Good!” Leonard repeated the word three times, his face contorting into a hideous grimace.
“Since you all want to seek death, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”
With Leonard's command, the Black Figures surged toward Aelia and the others like a tidal wave.
The battle erupted instantly, and the brilliance of magic illuminated the entire Magic Castle.
Although Luna was young, her power was unfathomable.
She waved her small hands, unleashing golden magic that sliced through the shadows like swords, taking them down one by one.
She was like a commanding Queen on the battlefield, able to determine the course of the battle with every gesture.
Aelia also showcased her formidable strength.
She was an experienced Mage, her magic both intricate and powerful, with each attack inflicting significant damage on her enemies.
Though her elder brother was somewhat incapacitated, he was a powerful Support Mage.
He unleashed a series of enhancement spells, boosting Aelia and the others' strength while simultaneously weakening their foes.
Second Brother and Brother San also demonstrated their prowess.
Second Brother's magic was filled with aggression; each of his attacks carried intense anger and determination.

Lucius joined the fray as well.

Leonard watched as his subordinates fell one by one, his face growing increasingly pale.
He could hardly believe that his meticulously crafted scheme had been so easily dismantled.
“No… it’s impossible… this can’t be…” Leonard murmured to himself, unable to accept the reality before him.
At that moment, Luna appeared in front of Leonard. She looked at him and said, “Leonard, you have lost.” Her voice was calm and indifferent, yet carried an undeniable authority.
Leonard abruptly lifted his head to look at Luna. He wanted to resist, but his body trembled uncontrollably.
He knew he had no chances left.
“I… I…” Leonard opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but in the end, nothing came out.
Weakly, he knelt on the ground.
The battle was over.
Leonard was imprisoned, awaiting judgment from the Magic Castle.
Those black-clad individuals who participated in the Rebellion were also captured one by one; they would pay for their crimes.
The crisis at the Magic Castle had been temporarily averted.
Aelia looked at Luna.
Elder Brother, Second Brother, and Brother San also gazed at Luna. They had never imagined that this tiny infant possessed such immense power and wisdom.
“Luna, thank you,” Aelia said softly.
Luna smiled gently and shook her head. "Mother, we are family; there's no need to say thank you."
Aelia nodded, tightly embracing Luna, her heart filled with warmth.
She knew that with Luna by her side, Magic Castle would surely regain its former glory.
"What should we do next?" the eldest brother asked.
Aelia took a deep breath. "Next, we must completely eradicate the dark forces within Magic Castle and restore its peace."
"I believe we can do it!" Second Brother and Brother San said in unison.
The future of Magic Castle was filled with hope.
Qin Si silently appeared behind Aelia, offering a cup of hot tea, breaking the momentary silence.
"Madam, everything has been arranged," she paused, her gaze sweeping over Lucius standing nearby, hesitating to speak.
Aelia accepted the teacup and took a gentle sip, but her eyes drifted past everyone, gazing into the distance.
"Is that so? Yet I can't shake the feeling that something is about to happen..."
The night grew deeper.
