With forty seconds left in regulation time, after serving again, Snow Wolf Team dared not act recklessly anymore for fear of wasting another scoring opportunity. Their Point Guard, holding onto the ball near the edge of our paint area, suddenly made a quick jump shot—but our captain leaped high for a block! What a lifesaving rejection! The ball flew towards me; I ran past their forward to catch it before heading out beyond three-point range for our final attack. We were leading by one point now; if this shot went in, we could practically celebrate!
I drained down the clock until only seven or eight seconds remained before sprinting toward the free-throw line position. Their forward came over to defend; after using "Lingbo Microstep" to evade him, I immediately stepped back for a jumper—scored! 4946; there were five seconds left—victory was ours!
