After we served, Jiang Lingfeng tossed the ball to me. I executed the "Lingbo Microstep" to dodge the Wild Leopard forward and suddenly felt inspired to try out an idea I had. I spun around continuously and then moved with a series of cross steps directly to the basket for a layup, scoring successfully. The crowd gasped in surprise, and I was a bit astonished myself; this new move I created was quite dazzling. 0

After the opponent served, the Point Guard launched a quick attack. Jiang Lingfeng stood in front, but the Wild Leopard Point Guard suddenly passed the ball through Jiang Lingfeng's legs to the Center, who dunked it effortlessly. After we served, Jiang Lingfeng made a long pass to me, but just as I was ready to catch it, the opposing Point Guard rushed in and stole it. He then dribbled around to the three-point line and passed it back to the Center, who jumped again for another dunk. A Fei didn't miss this time; he leaped high to block, but just as he was about to swat the ball away, the opposing Center spun 180 degrees in mid-air and made a jump shot! 0

"Good!" The audience cheered again. It seemed they were really enjoying this; it felt like a National Finals match. At halftime, we led Wild Leopard Team 17-16. For some reason, I felt that playing against Wild Leopard Team was tougher than facing Shen Dun and his team. During halftime, we went off the court to adjust our strategy. "Team, we're just one step away from the National Championship! Let's give it our all!" Jiang Lingfeng clapped his hands. A Fei and I nodded knowingly. "Wild Leopard Team may seem weak offensively, but their style is flashy and impressive; they can score almost every time they attack. No matter how timely our defense is, they can always find a way to break through. We must do our best to hold them off in the final eight minutes of the second half." 0

The three-minute halftime break quickly passed, and with the referee's whistle, we returned to the court. The second half began with Wild Leopard Team having possession of the ball. After their Center threw it in, their Point Guard immediately pushed it to the forward. The forward barely touched the ball before passing it back to the Center inside, who executed a windmill dunk. I rushed over to help A Fei defend, but the opposing Center made an astonishing move: he slammed the ball hard against the backboard! The ball bounced out, and Wild Leopard Team's Point Guard caught it before Jiang Lingfeng could react and took a jump shot from three-point range—scoring! 17-19; we were now two points behind. 0

After several back-and-forth exchanges between both teams, Wild Leopard Team managed to pull off a 7-point run against us. With just over two minutes left in the game, we found ourselves trailing by seven points. Unexpectedly, Wild Leopard Team slowly widened their lead without much effort. Jiang Lingfeng quickly called for a timeout as we stepped off the court. "We've been playing poorly during this period; we've wasted many opportunities! The main responsibility lies with me; their Point Guard is likely a professional player from a University Team, and I'm struggling against him. Time is running out—if Wild Leopard Team continues to extend their lead or maintain their score, we'll have to return home with regrets." Jiang Lingfeng paused. "Captain, don't worry; this time I'll do my utmost to defend against Wild Leopard Team's forward!" I gritted my teeth and said. A Fei remained silent but tightly held onto his Eagle necklace. 0

"A Fei," I smiled at him, "let's pray that your Eagle helps us achieve our dream." A Fei expressionlessly opened his palm and kissed his Eagle pendant as timeout ended. We returned to the court for the final moments of play; we were at an absolute disadvantage. Wild Leopard Team's tactical style was unique—they quietly dismantled their opponents without being wild or ostentatious. I referred to Wild Leopard Team's approach as "gentle death." After A Fei threw inbounds, Jiang Lingfeng attempted a three-pointer from the arc but missed. A Fei grabbed the rebound and passed it back out to Jiang Lingfeng, who shot again—this time hitting nothing but net! With that three-pointer from Jiang Lingfeng, our deficit shrank down to just two points. 0

With one minute and fifty seconds left in the game, after their inbound pass, their forward quickly circled around me into the paint. The Point Guard suddenly passed him the ball; he caught it and executed a special gliding hook shot—scoring! His hang-time was impressive. Our point difference returned to four points as Jiang Lingfeng charged straight toward the basket against multiple defenders from Wild Leopard Team using his signature move—a bridge layup that went in—but it was quite forced so there was still a significant chance of missing. 0

Four! The most critical last minute arrived as Jiang Lingfeng adjusted his wristband tightly and closely guarded Wild Leopard Team's Point Guard. As he passed the ball, their Point Guard dribbled rightward until he reached mid-range on the right wing before suddenly stopping for a jump shot—missed! A Fei grabbed the rebound—great! He passed it out to Jiang Lingfeng who took a shot from free throw line distance—scoring! 44—we tied up just twenty seconds before time expired! 0

However, we left them with one last possession if they scored on this attack; we'd have no choice but to pack up and head home while if they missed we'd go into overtime—a scenario we dreaded most—but given our current situation overtime seemed like our best outcome. They inbounded; their Point Guard wasted time until only eight seconds remained on the shot clock before running toward zero degrees angle; we three rushed at him when he saw an opportunity and quickly passed out... only for A Fei to steal it! After catching it, I instinctively ran beyond the three-point line as A Fei smoothly passed me the ball; I charged toward the basket dodging both their forward and Center as if entering an unguarded realm before leaping high for a one-handed slam dunk! The ball smashed into the rim with force as only two seconds remained on the clock—the opposing team inbounded and took a shot from beyond three-point range... missed! The final score froze at 64; Wild Leopard Team fell victim to my last-second dunk! Once again I saved our team at the last moment—who else could be called King of the Last Shot? 0
