Moments later, a rustling sound echoed through Ling Snake Ridge, as if some massive creature was swiftly moving through the grass and bushes. The sound grew louder as it approached.
"This sounds like a giant snake slithering! Could it be the Ling Snake?" Zhang Fa exclaimed in surprise.
Jiang Chen stood still with his hands behind his back, observing the direction of the sound without moving.
Soon enough, a giant snake emerged from the depths of the forest, its head raised high while carrying two small figures in its mouth.
"The snake has two children! This Ling Snake intends to eat them!" Zhang Fa exclaimed in shock.
Indeed, what the giant snake held in its mouth were two children. However, upon seeing Jiang Chen, fear clearly flashed in its eyes as it swam towards him and gently placed the two children at his feet.
This scene took Jiang Chen by surprise.
After releasing the children, the giant snake coiled itself before Jiang Chen like an obedient puppy.
