Once, while working on a copy, Lin Yue suddenly found herself at a loss for inspiration, unable to produce any satisfactory content. She stared blankly at her computer screen, growing increasingly anxious. Zhou Yi noticed her state and approached her gently, asking, "What's wrong? Are you facing a challenge?" Lin Yue looked up, feeling a bit embarrassed as she replied, "Um, I can't seem to get the copy right." Zhou Yi thought for a moment and suggested, "How about we change our approach? Why don't you tell me your understanding of this advertisement and the core message you want to convey?"
Lin Yue poured out her thoughts, and Zhou Yi listened attentively before offering his suggestions. "I think we can approach it from this angle; it will make the copy more appealing." Lin Yue's eyes lit up at his perspective. Following Zhou Yi's lead, she reimagined the copy and successfully completed it.
This collaboration made Lin Yue realize that Zhou Yi wasn't trying to make things difficult for her; he simply wanted the advertisement to achieve the best results. Zhou Yi also discovered that while Lin Yue could be emotional at times, she was hardworking and creative. The two gradually found their rhythm in working together. Although there were still minor frictions, they managed to resolve them promptly.
On one occasion, after Zhou Yi presented the first draft of a poster design, Lin Yue felt that the overall color scheme was too dark and didn't match the lively theme of the advertisement. She cautiously voiced her opinion, and instead of getting upset, Zhou Yi thoughtfully considered her feedback and replied, "You make a good point; I'll adjust it." After making revisions, the poster looked much better, and the client was very pleased with the advertising proposal.
As the project progressed under tight deadlines, Lin Yue and Zhou Yi occasionally took breaks at a nearby café during lunch hours to unwind. One day, after finishing a segment of copy and feeling somewhat fatigued, Lin Yue invited Zhou Yi to join her at the café. They entered and found a window seat. Lin Yue ordered a latte while Zhou Yi opted for an Americano. Once their coffees arrived, Lin Yue gently blew on hers before taking small sips. Suddenly, she spoke up, "Zhou Yi, I think we had some misunderstandings before." Zhou Yi looked up at her without saying anything. Lin Yue continued, "I know your strictness is meant to improve our advertising results; I didn't mean to upset you." Zhou Yi smiled slightly and said, "I also have my faults; I should have explained better. Let's work well together moving forward." Lin Yue nodded in agreement, and their relationship noticeably softened in that moment.
After finishing their coffees and preparing to leave, Lin Yue suddenly spotted a cute little cat curled up in a corner on the floor, looking quite pitiful. She crouched down and gently stroked its head; the cat nuzzled against her hand. Watching Lin Yue interact with the cat brought a smile to Zhou Yi's face. Lin Yue looked up at him and said, "Let's take it back with us; it looks really hungry." After hesitating for a moment, Zhou Yi nodded in agreement. They bought some cat food and water before bringing the little feline back to the office. When their colleagues saw the cat, they all gathered around and praised Lin Yue for her kindness. Watching Lin Yue surrounded by everyone warmed Zhou Yi's heart; he realized that her cheerful nature and compassion were truly captivating.
As the project progressed further, Lin Yue and Zhou Yi's relationship continued to deepen. One day, the project team decided to explore nearby neighborhoods after work for inspiration. Lin Yue and Zhou Yi walked ahead together, discussing advertising ideas as they strolled along.
