The next day, the three of us—Qu Ying, Xu Xi, and I—made our way to the classroom, and from a distance, we could hear excited shouts.
"Ahhh! It's real, they're really alive!"
"Brother, can you give me an autograph?"
She got her wish and received Jiang Che's autograph, happily taking a sip of her drink.
Jiang Qing glanced at her, the disdain in her eyes unmistakable. "Country bumpkin, you get this excited over just one signature from my brother."
Beside her, Lackey was envious and gently tugged at her sleeve.
"Jiang Qing, could you ask your brother for an autograph for me too? I want one as well."
Jiang Qing swatted her hand away dismissively. "It depends. My brother is very busy."
I finally managed to squeeze my way in.
I noticed that not only our major was present but also many students from other disciplines.
The instructor tried to regain control of the situation. "Everyone, please calm down and find a seat."
Students rarely fought for the front row like this; the instructor looked both amused and exasperated.
elder brother and I exchanged a knowing glance.
"I heard from my sister that everyone really enjoys watching me compete, so today I brought you front-row invitations."
As I spoke, I pulled out a stack of VIP tickets.
"Ahhh!! Can we go to the live event?"
"Woohoo, I'm so touched! I never thought I would get to see my brother in person one day."
I smirked, my eyes narrowing playfully. "There are plenty of VIP tickets. You can get them from my sister, and if you need more, just let me know."
In the chairs, someone pushed Jiang Qing forward, urging her to go up and take the tickets. Others had already reserved a few in advance.
Jiang Qing tidied her hair and shyly stepped forward to reach for the tickets. "Thank you, brother."
I withdrew the tickets, my smile fading.
"So you're the one who has been bullying my sister at school, Jiang Qing?"
The situation changed too quickly for Jiang Qing to react.
"W-What?"
A fleeting glint of ruthlessness appeared in Jiang Che's eyes. "Let me add one more thing: Jiang Qing and anyone who has insulted Jiang Mu in the group will not receive any tickets."
Those with a sense of self-preservation quickly took out their phones and began leaving the group.
At the same time, a sigh of relief escaped him; thankfully, he hadn't gone with the flow last night.
"Jiang Qing!" he shouted.
"How could Jiang Mu possibly be your sister? She's just a country bumpkin! I'm the one who's a fan of your support club; you even smiled at me back then!"
Jiang Che's smile faded, and the atmosphere around them grew tense, his tone icy and piercing.
"I warn you, if you continue to make things difficult for Jiang Mu, you'll regret it."
Jiang Qing's face instantly turned pale.
In front of everyone, my elder brother called the president of the support club and banned Jiang Qing from participating in any future activities.
The classroom fell silent.
No one expected the usually gentle Jiang Che to handle things so decisively.
Jiang Qing left in tears, slamming the door behind her.
Not a single person followed her out.
It was ten o'clock at night.
The spectators returned, still immersed in excitement.
“Jiang Che’s final move was simply incredible, wiping out the opponent without leaving a single drop of blood.”
“Their teamwork is so seamless; they know what each other is going to do with just a glance.”
Messages flooded the group chat.
Jiang Qing opened her phone to browse through the information and nearly lost her temper.
“[Jiang Mu yyds, without you, we wouldn’t be able to get so close to brother.]”
“I used to think Jiang Qing was the main character, but thankfully the master clarified things; otherwise, she would have really pulled the wool over our eyes.”
“The master doesn’t even know her, and Jiang Qing still had the nerve to approach him. It’s hilarious!”
With a loud “crack,” her phone fell to the ground, shattered into pieces.
Fuming, Jiang Qing stormed over to the neighboring dormitory and ordered her lackey, “I’m in a bad mood; come with me for a walk.”
Her tone was inexplicably irritating.
“Jiang Qing, we’re your classmates, not your servants! Can you please watch how you speak? I’m not feeling well today; I’m going to bed.”
With that, she lay down on her bed.
Jiang Qing gritted her teeth and said, "Fine, don't come to me for help in the future."
She shifted her gaze to another girl.
The other girl was already in a bad mood for missing Jiang Che's competition, and now she couldn't even be bothered to feign indifference.
"Jiang Qing, it's all your fault that we didn't get tickets. Just go, and don't come to our dorm anymore."
When had Jiang Qing ever been treated like this? "You... you two! I’ll remember both of you."
After she left, the girl who had been lying on the bed sat up.
"Isn't what we did a bit too much? After all, Jiang Qing's family has some influence in the capital."
The two exchanged glances; their mood tonight was truly terrible.
In the next dormitory, Qu Ying tightly hugged my leg. "Mu Mu, thank you! Today I not only saw Jiang Che in person but also added him on WeChat. Do you think there's a chance I could become your sister-in-law in the future?"
I was taken aback. "???"
I consider you a friend, and you're trying to get with my brother??
Our dorm stayed up late last night, and since we had no classes today, no one seemed inclined to wake up before ten.
With a loud bang, Jiang Qing pushed the door open, directing the people behind her to set down their things.
I opened my eyes and clearly saw the people standing in the dormitory.
“Jiang Qing, are you out of your mind? Don’t you know this is a girls' dormitory? No boys allowed!”
I grabbed my phone and snapped several photos.
“Which department are you from? You can't just enter a girls' dormitory like this. I’ll send these photos to the instructor and let her handle it.”
The boys were stunned, questioning Jiang Qing, “Didn’t you say no one was in your dorm? What are we supposed to do now?”
Jiang Qing didn’t expect me to react this way, and her expression darkened.
“Don’t worry, Jiang Mu won’t dare to do anything.”
The look I gave her was one of disbelief; how could she think I wouldn’t tell the instructor?
I directly opened the instructor’s profile in front of her and sent the photos.
Jiang Qing’s face turned as ugly as if she had stepped in dog poop.
I didn’t know how Jiang Qing dealt with it, but eventually, those boys left.
