"Bingbing, you finally made it!" Shi Xindi, the Second Young Master of the Shi family, was entertaining guests when he spotted Lin Bingbing arriving, looking stunningly beautiful. He hurried over to greet her.
Shi Xindi's father, Shi Shengguang, his mother, older brother Shi Xinquan, and younger sister Shi Ning all approached as well.

"I am not here to get engaged to your second brother. I hope you will return the betrothal gifts; I will not marry Shi Xindi," Lin Bingbing said calmly and fearlessly, knowing Jiang Chen was outside.
Her words stunned everyone present. Even the Shi family members were taken aback; they never expected Lin Bingbing would come here just to say such things publicly. The Shi family was one of the top aristocratic families in Yulu City, and no matter how beautiful Lin Bingbing was, she was just a movie star. Marrying into the Shi family would be a blessing for her, yet she showed such disrespect towards them, which infuriated the Shi family.
Lin Bingbing's family turned pale in shock; they had not anticipated that she would dare to speak like this in front of the Shi family.
"Master Zhao, Master Zhao, Bingbing is just joking; please don't take it seriously," Lin Bingbing's mother quickly interjected as she noticed Shi Shengguang's expression darkening.
"Joking? Is this kind of joke amusing?" Shi Shengguang's gaze turned cold; he was clearly displeased.
"I am not joking at all. I simply do not like Shi Xindi; why would I marry him? Besides, someone has said that Shi Xindi is not worthy of me," Lin Bingbing boldly declared again.
Lin Bingbing considered herself Jiang Chen's woman. Even if Jiang Chen did not like her back, she was willing to remain loyal to him for life. She wouldn’t even glance at other men. If Jiang Chen said that Shi Xindi was unworthy of her, then he truly was unworthy.
"You are just a movie star; what does it matter if you are a top-tier celebrity? Ha! My son is unworthy of you? What do you take the Shi family for?" Shi Shengguang was furious. As the chairman of the Shi family group, he was usually respected. Today, being publicly disrespected by a movie star filled his face with storm clouds and anger.
