"Ouyang, why do you look so gloomy? Aren't you happy we won the game?" I couldn't help but ask him. Ouyang didn't respond and walked straight towards the Locker Room. How strange; his expression seemed as if we had lost the game. We quickly followed him. Once inside the Locker Room, he closed the door, sat down on a chair, and slammed his fist against the wall. Then he sighed deeply. "Wait a moment, Ouyang. What's going on? You seem upset even though we won," I asked him again. Ouyang shook his head, "No, I just feel that our win this time was a bit lucky. We've stumbled through the group matches, and if we reach the knockout stage, the difficulty of making it to the finals is unimaginable..." 0

"Come on, silly brother!" I patted his shoulder. "If all the champions from North China are weaklings, why are we even competing in this championship?" A Fei also came over, "Ouyang, stop overthinking it. We need to focus on how to beat our last opponent in the group stage, Gray Machine Team." 0

After returning to the hotel, I lay on my bed and pulled out my phone to log onto QQ. Within three seconds, Xia Ying, Shuai Dong, and Pang Hao messaged me at once, asking how the match went. I told them everything was fine and that tomorrow would be a crucial battle for advancing in the group stage. Indeed, right now Flying Team was leading with two wins, while we were tied with Firearms Team at one win and one loss (we ranked second due to our better head-to-head record). The last round of group matches was favorable for us because Firearms Team's last opponent would be the leading team, Triplet Legion Flying Team, while we would face Gray Machine Team, who had already been eliminated with two consecutive losses. However, it couldn't be ruled out that Gray Machine Team might fight hard for their dignity in their final match. 0

"Gray Machine Team is still a city champion team after all, and they only lost by a total of eight points in two matches; they shouldn't be pushovers. They just had bad luck," A Fei calmly analyzed our opponent's situation and characteristics. At least we still held the initiative; our fate was still in our own hands. 0

The intense competition left me without any desire to explore Beijing. Of course... I was also afraid of running into Ya again. A Fei and Ouyang were eager to go out for a stroll, leaving me alone in the large room lying on my bed playing on my phone. After a while of boredom, I thought about doing something to pass the time. Suddenly I remembered that my backpack had pencils and an eraser. I enjoy drawing during my free time, so I propped a book under me and started sketching. First, I copied our trio's team emblem; it was located right above our jerseys. The design featured three swords inserted into a basketball from left to right, surrounded by flames—showcasing a kingly aura. I really liked this emblem; last year's Dream Chasers emblem was understated and stable; this year let's try something bold! I drew carefully, striving for perfection because this represented our pride and dignity. 0

After twenty minutes, I finished drawing the emblem—a pure sketch of our trio depicted vividly on paper. I used tape to stick it on the wall facing the door so that we could see it as soon as we entered. Hey! Now it really felt like a home for the main team! Not long after, A Fei and Ouyang returned; as soon as they opened the door, they froze in place. "Jie, did you draw this?" Ouyang turned to ask me. I smiled and nodded. A Fei stared at the drawing with an expression of fascination as he approached it; he seemed entranced by it. Watching him made me feel gratified. A Fei looked at the drawing and raised his hand; I thought he was going to touch it affectionately but instead he started to peel it off the wall! I quickly rushed over to stop him: "Hey hey hey! What do you mean? You just took it down after I put it up! If you like it so much you can't just take it down to admire it under your blanket!" 0

A Fei almost fainted: "Oh come on! Let's not be so narcissistic! Who would want to hide it under their blanket?" 0

"What do you mean by that...?" I scratched my head in confusion. A Fei cleared his throat: "I just couldn't see clearly what you drew since it's a pencil sketch and it's a bit light; that's why I wanted to get closer to take a look. After seeing it up close, I think it's a bit too plain so I wanted to take it down and color it with markers..." 0

After A Fei finished speaking, Ouyang chuckled beside him: "Actually, I couldn't see what you drew either..." 0

"I put in half my effort for this!" I lay back down on my bed while A Fei took down the drawing and gathered with Ouyang: "Ouyang, Jie has already laid down the base; let's color it!" 0

"Sure! I've got markers in my backpack!" Ouyang excitedly went to find them while A Fei took off his jersey to compare colors: "This should be orange-yellow; the sword handles should be silver..." These two were quite serious about this task. Watching them both focus like children made me feel a sense of warmth inside because we were a team. 0

Once they finished coloring, they put it back up on the wall where we could see it as soon as we entered: "Jie! This looks much more eye-catching now!" A Fei pulled me up from my bed and walked me over to face our emblem together with Ouyang. We stood side by side staring at it blankly. "Captain Jie, my dream is to see this emblem on the National Championship wall one day; hopefully we can achieve this goal," Ouyang said with a grin. 0

I smiled back: "That goal is quite challenging but not impossible! We never expected we'd make it back to Beijing this year either; yet here we are standing here again! As long as we don't abandon or give up hope, anything is possible!" A Fei became excited: "Right! Nothing is impossible! Who would have thought that three second-year high school students could carve out a place for themselves in North China's street basketball scene? We are going to be the strongest high school students in North China's street basketball world!" A Fei's words rang out powerfully, embodying all our desires for victory. 0
