For two days, he studied the original text over and over again. It was clearly some form of writing, not as ever-changing as the "Xuan Tian Jue." Shaking his head, he realized he could only wait for Xiao Hei to awaken and see if he recognized this strange script. He had let his imagination run wild regarding Xiao Hei's state upon awakening, envisioning him transforming into a handsome and powerful Qilin or even being able to take human form.
The intense heat of the Lava illuminated this underground world, and the spiritual energy around the island began to converge towards Xiao Shan. The flowing spiritual energy created a faint breeze in the air, which gradually quickened over time. Standing outside the Cave, he could distinctly feel the wind's movement. This breeze brought a hint of coolness to the silent and sweltering Xiao Shan. However, at that moment, Mo Wen had no mind to appreciate the relief; his gaze was fixed on the distance, sensing the changes around him. The commotion caused by Xiao Hei's transformation seemed far greater than he had imagined. Yet, this process was slow, and because of that, Mo Wen's face was etched with worry.
Standing atop the mountain and observing his surroundings, he felt as if he had merged with the rocks—not due to any deliberate disguise but simply because he was too dirty. He could hardly remember the last time he had bathed; his hair had become matted with accumulated sweat, forming little braids. His clothes had long turned black; at first, it was uncomfortable, but now he had grown accustomed to it. There was no choice; although he had brought water and replenished some during previous explorations, water was a scarce resource in this underground world.
The wind gradually intensified. After ten days, the coolness it brought became quite apparent. Based on the passage of time and changes in wind speed, Mo Wen deduced that the amount of spiritual energy required for Xiao Hei's transformation far exceeded what he himself had needed to break through to the Qi Binding Realm. Moreover, it seemed that this process had only just begun. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and enveloped Xiao Shan with his Divine Perception. Further away lay traps he had set; once triggered, they would explode—not lethal but sufficient to serve as a warning.
In the center of the cave, cracks began to appear in the stone blocks as spiritual energy from outside seeped in through these fissures. The flow of spiritual energy within the cave grew increasingly fierce, gradually forming a Fire Tornado centered around the stone. Even further out from the cave, spiritual energy began to converge towards the island.
Watching the spiraling vortex of spiritual energy surrounding Xiao Shan, Mo Wen knew that a critical moment was approaching. He couldn't help but marvel at such an immense amount of spiritual energy—what Realm would Xiao Hei break through? He feared that even if he reached an extraordinary level or higher, it wouldn't create such a commotion. Sitting cross-legged on the ground, his newly forged blade lay flat across his legs. In the distance, several Demon Beasts appeared; they had been lingering nearby for days now. It seemed an inevitable battle between man and beast was on the horizon. However, Mo Wen paid little attention to these Demon Beasts; his real concern lay with the expedition team.
In the center of the massive cyclone within the cave, brilliant light began to emanate from the cracks in the stone. The light grew stronger as the rotational speed of the spiritual energy vortex increased. Eventually, this brilliance pierced through the Magic Circle and shone out from the cave's ventilation hole. The entire Xiao Shan resembled a furnace radiating light everywhere. Accompanying this was a violent tremor; stones began to fall from Mountain Body. Sensing something was amiss, Mo Wen leaped down from the mountain and retreated towards another side of the island.
