In Rainbow Valley, there lived a little rabbit named Duo Duo. She always wore a dandelion on her ear and would hop around every morning to collect dew, watering the carrot field she had planted beside her wooden house. One night, Duo Duo was awakened by a golden light. On her windowsill lay a warm star, its surface cracked like a glowing seed. "I am the Wish Star," the star chimed in a bell-like voice, "my light is fading and I need to be planted in the soil to be reborn."
Duo Duo buried the star in the center of her carrot field using the richest soil. The next morning, tender green shoots emerged from the cracks of the star, with transparent little bells hanging from the vines. Whenever the wind blew, the bells would ring out: "Ding-a-ling—speak your wish!" A little squirrel came running with a pine cone: "My tail got caught on a thorn!" The vine immediately lowered its threads and wove soft bandages; Little Hedgehog held out a wilted flower: "My sunflower can no longer bloom!" The vine shook off golden powder, and the flower instantly burst into rainbow colors.
However, as more and more animals came for help, the light of the Star Vine began to dim. In the deep of night, Duo Duo found the vine gently crying: "I am losing my strength..." Suddenly, she remembered the jar of honey she had hidden in a tree hollow and poured the sweetest honey into the soil. A miraculous thing happened—all the animals she had helped rushed over with gifts: a little monkey brought fresh bananas, fireflies lit up the vine with their lanterns, and even the stream at the foot of the mountain sent cool water.
The Star Vine grew wildly in everyone's love, blooming with a brightness that surpassed even the sun. When the first rays of dawn fell, the vine transformed into countless stars flying into the sky, each one bearing the smiling faces of Little Animals. From then on, whenever particularly bright stars lit up Rainbow Valley at night, it was Wish Star watching over all its kind-hearted friends.
Deep in the forest, in a mushroom house lived a little rabbit named Rong Rong. Her greatest wish was to become a Forest Courier like her father. However, every time she delivered packages, she would get lost due to her nerves and couldn't even find the nearest hedgehog's home. One morning, Rong Rong discovered a glowing package at her doorstep with "Star Courier, time-sensitive delivery to Moon Castle" written on it. Inside, a little star blinked its eyes and said: "I need to reach Moon Castle before sunset; otherwise, my magic will disappear!"
Gathering her courage, Rong Rong set off with the package but ended up going around in circles in Misty Forest. In her panic, she noticed that the star on the package could illuminate her path and would emit sounds saying "turn left, go straight." It turned out this star was a Navigation Star! Along their journey, they encountered Big Crow who wanted to eat stars; Rong Rong used carrots to distract him. When they reached a river, the star transformed into a small boat to carry her across.
As sunset painted the sky red, Rong Rong finally delivered the star to Moon Castle. The Moon Princess gifted Rong Rong a scarf adorned with little stars; just a gentle touch would reveal the correct direction. From that day on, it became common to see a little rabbit courier with colorful packages and a scarf shimmering softly as she zipped through the forest—never again delivering to the wrong address!
In Rainbow Town, little rabbit Duo Duo always felt that her drawings were not very good. One day, she found a shimmering Magic Paintbrush in the grass with “Draw Your Dreams” engraved on its handle. When Duo Duo gently stroked it across paper, miracles happened! The painted carrot field suddenly sprouted juicy carrots; her drawn house wafted delicious cookie scents into the air. It turned out this was indeed a magical Magic Paintbrush! Excitedly, Duo Duo painted singing flowers and dancing stones on walls, bringing life to her town.
However, by the next day, the Magic Paintbrush suddenly lost its glow. An old turtle wearing round glasses slowly crawled by and said: “The magical Magic Paintbrush needs kind energy. Only by using it to help others will its light return.” Realizing this truth, Duo Duo used her Magic Paintbrush to draw warm tree hollows for Wandering Squirrel and new wings for an injured Bird.
Gradually, the Magic Paintbrush grew brighter and sprouted rainbow-colored ribbons. From then on, Duo Duo carried her Magic Paintbrush around town every day, using magic to help everyone. Now every corner of town held traces of her magical drawings; but most beautiful of all were the smiles on children's faces that shone brighter than rainbows.
