As the night fell like a massive black curtain, it enveloped the entire world in darkness.
Su Mu held a dimly glowing oil lamp, cautiously making his way through the shadows, embarking on the path to the Liu Family Ancestral Tomb alone.
This ancestral grave was located on the hillside behind the small town, surrounded by desolation and silence. The only sound was the whisper of the wind rustling through the leaves, resembling murmurs from the underworld, adding an eerie chill to the already sinister atmosphere.
With the detailed guidance recorded in the Heavenly Secrets Medical Manual, Su Mu finally found the gravestone of Liu Qingqing's mother after much effort.
The gravestone stood solitary amidst overgrown weeds, engraved with the words "Liu Men Chen Shi Zhi Mu." However, due to the erosion of time, these characters had become indistinct, and thick moss covered the stone, as if it bore deep marks left by the years.
Su Mu gently lit three incense sticks and, with a sense of reverence, inserted them neatly into the soil before the gravestone.
He then crossed his legs, slowly closed his eyes, and adjusted his breathing, entering a state of deep meditation.

Upon hearing this, the woman shook her head vigorously, murmuring to herself, "How could I harm my own flesh and blood? It wasn't me... it was her... it was her..." However, her voice grew softer until it was nearly inaudible.
At the same time, her figure began to fade slowly, as if she might dissolve into the vast night at any moment.
Watching the woman's form gradually disappear, Su Mu's mind was instantly filled with countless questions.

Carefully, he reached out and gently disturbed the patch of earth.
As he did so, the dirt that had covered it fell away, revealing a hidden compartment beneath.
Seeing this unexpected discovery made Su Mu's heart race with excitement.
He slowly crouched down and opened the lid of the hidden compartment. As he focused his gaze, he saw an old wooden box placed inside.
With a heart full of unease, Su Mu took a deep breath and resolutely opened the box.
In an instant, two items caught his eye—a yellowed letter and a smooth, lustrous jade pendant.
Su Mu unfolded the letter, which read: "Qingqing, I’m sorry, my dear. I can no longer be by your side.
You must take good care of yourself and trust no one, especially..."
The last few words of the letter had been torn off, rendering them unreadable.
Su Mu picked up the jade pendant and examined it closely.
The pendant was entirely emerald green, intricately carved with a phoenix, its craftsmanship exquisite and clearly not an ordinary item.
What secrets were hidden within this letter and jade pendant?
