The most surprising thing was that Experiment Three unexpectedly lost 109-9 away against New District Experimental Middle School in the fourth round. However, they still secured second place with a record of three wins and two losses and advanced to the top eight alongside us. Twenty-Four Middle School did not win any matches in the first five rounds and was eliminated early along with New Experimental School with one win and four losses.
On Tuesday, we had our last match against Experiment Three away; it was a game without significant consequences since our final ranking wouldn't be affected whether we won or lost. However, we still hoped to finish our last season of high school perfectly; thus, we would strive hard for six consecutive wins in group matches!
Today we went to play at Experiment Three's venue; it had been a whole year since we last visited this place. I remembered that last year we were blocked outside the Olympic Sports Center here; this time we aimed for revenge. Experiment Three might undergo a complete rebuild from players to coaches starting next year; an extremely glorious Experiment Three dynasty would thus become a thing of the past. Back then, Du Feilong led his team to consecutive championships in the City High League and even reached the provincial semifinals for two consecutive years in provincial inter-school competitions. Shangguan Leinuo also made it to the finals of last season's City High League; although they lost at the last moment, they still advanced into provincial inter-school competitions through playoffs while defeating both Langfang champions and Tangshan champions in group matches with pride. Such opponents deserve respect from all teams.

Upon arriving at Experiment Three's gymnasium, we headed straight there with ease as if familiar with every step.
