Wei Fan stood in the yard, the blood still dripping from the machete in his hand. 0

"Come to watch the show, have you?" he muttered to himself. "Then let me give you a real spectacle!" 0

Suddenly, a thought struck him, and a fierce glint flashed in his eyes. "Right, that old hag! She's still at my house!" 0

Old Jin, the crazy old woman who had poured pig feed on him and dumped her urine bucket on him, was waiting at his home for her money. 0

"I can't let her off easy!" Wei Fan gritted his teeth. "It's all her fault! If it weren't for her, things wouldn't have escalated to this point!" 0

He tightened his grip on the machete and strode purposefully toward his house. 0

Halfway there, Wei Fan suddenly stopped in his tracks. 0

Not far ahead, a hunched figure was slowly approaching. 0

It was Old Jin! 0

After causing a ruckus at Wei Fan's place all night, she was finally tired and heading back to Mu Fan's house to rest. 0

"Oh heavens, what sin have I committed..." Old Jin mumbled as she walked, "All for a few hundred bucks..." 0

She had no idea that death was standing right before her. 0

"Old Jin!" Wei Fan suddenly called out. 0

Old Jin jumped in fright and looked up to see Wei Fan standing in the middle of the road, holding something in his hand. 0

"What... what are you doing?" Old Jin squinted to see better. 0

As she recognized him, her face turned pale instantly. 0

"What do you want with that knife?" she asked, her voice trembling. 0

Wei Fan didn't answer but took a step closer to her, his face appearing particularly sinister under the moonlight. 0

"What do you want?" Old Jin stepped back nervously. "I... I’ll go back now, we can talk tomorrow..." 0

"Tomorrow?" Wei Fan sneered. "There won't be a tomorrow!" 0

Old Jin sensed something was off and turned to run. But at sixty-two years old, she couldn't match Wei Fan's speed. 0

"Help! Help! He's going to kill me!" she shouted as she ran. 0

Wei Fan quickly closed the distance between them. 0

"It’s all your fault!" He raised the axe, his eyes filled with hatred. "If you hadn't caused trouble at my home, none of this would have happened!" 0

"I... I didn't mean to..." Old Jin fell to the ground, desperately trying to crawl away. "I just wanted to get my medical expenses back..." 0

"Medical expenses?" Wei Fan sneered. "I'll make sure you never need medical expenses again!" 0

The axe was raised high. 0

"Don't!" Old Jin let out a heart-wrenching scream. 0

But it was too late. 0

The first blow fell, and Old Jin's screams abruptly ceased. The second blow, the third... Wei Fan hacked away like a madman, until the old woman lay completely still. 0

Blood stained the path through the mountains, and it soaked Wei Fan's clothes. 0

He stood beside the corpse, gasping for breath. Four lives had vanished into the night. 0

Looking at the body on the ground, Wei Fan suddenly felt a wave of emptiness wash over him. He had thought that killing these people would ease his heart, but now he felt even more despair. 0

"It’s over..." he murmured to himself. "It’s all over..." 0

At that moment, hurried footsteps and shouts echoed from a distance. 0

Mu Fan arrived with the villagers. 0

"Over here! Someone has collapsed here!" someone shouted loudly. 0

When Mu Fan saw Mother-in-law's body, his legs went weak, nearly causing him to fall to the ground. He had just discovered the bodies of his wife and child at home, and now he saw that Mother-in-law had also been killed. 0

"Mom..." He knelt beside Old Jin, his voice trembling violently. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." 0

"Where is Wei Fan? Where is Wei Fan?" Old Wang asked, shaking. 0
