At the village entrance, beside the roaring flames, the villagers and the Toad Spirit were stunned by the sudden change before them. 0

Originally struggling in agony within the fire, Su Wan'er was now bathed in a holy light, slowly ascending into the air. 0

“What... what is happening?” a villager stammered, his eyes wide with disbelief. 0

“God... a deity! It must be a deity descending to earth!” someone exclaimed, their voice trembling. 0

After a brief silence, the villagers finally reacted. 0

“Spare us, divine being! We were blind and offended you!” 0

“Immortal Lady, forgive us! We were misled!” 0

Thud after thud, the villagers fell to their knees, repeatedly bowing to Su Wan'er in the sky, crying out for forgiveness. 0

The Toad Spirit stood there in a daze, gazing at the exalted Su Wan'er, his eyes filled with shock and regret. 0

“Su Wan'er... no, Immortal Lady... are you really a deity?” the Toad Spirit murmured to himself, his face pale and his legs trembling slightly. 0

He recalled every moment over the past three years, everything Su Wan'er had done for him flashing through his mind like a movie reel. 0

It was he who had pushed her into the abyss, he who had dug out her She Dan, and he who had ignited the flames. 0

“What... what have I done?” The Toad Spirit closed his eyes in anguish, tears streaming down his cheeks. 0

He knelt on the ground, bowing his head to the sky where Su Wan'er resided, his voice hoarse as he pleaded, "Su Wan'er... Immortal Lady, I was wrong! I truly know my mistake! Please forgive me!" 0

He did not dare to hope for Su Wan'er's forgiveness; he only wished that she would show mercy this once, considering their past connections. 0

Su Wan'er looked down at the villagers kneeling before her, her eyes filled with a complex mix of emotions. 0

Her gaze shifted to Qu Ningyu, who stood among the crowd, and her expression instantly turned icy. 0

"Qu Ningyu, you schemed and plotted, and now your true colors are finally revealed," Su Wan'er said coldly, a hint of mockery lacing her voice. 0

Feeling the chill in Su Wan'er's gaze, Qu Ningyu's heart sank as she realized her deception had been uncovered. She turned to flee. 0

"Trying to run? It's too late now!" Su Wan'er snorted coldly, her figure moving swiftly to appear right in front of Qu Ningyu. 0

"What... what do you want?" Qu Ningyu stammered in terror, her voice trembling. 0

"What do I want? Of course, it's to uphold justice and cleanse the house!" Su Wan'er sneered, striking Qu Ningyu's chest with a powerful palm. 0

"Ah!" Qu Ningyu screamed as she was sent flying backward, crashing heavily onto the ground. 0

"Cough!" A mouthful of blood spewed from her lips as her body began to transform; her once alluring features twisted into something grotesque, and her smooth skin became rough and coarse. 0

In the end, Qu Ningyu morphed into a massive toad, writhing on the ground in convulsions. 0

"So it turns out you were the Toad Spirit trying to steal my She Dan!" Su Wan'er said coldly, waving her hand to extract the She Dan that rightfully belonged to her from within Qu Ningyu's body. 0

The She Dan emitted a soft glow as it slowly flew back into Su Wan'er's hands. 0

Holding the She Dan, Su Wan'er turned to face the Toad Spirit. 0

“Toad Spirit, from now on, our ties are severed!” Su Wan'er gazed deeply at the Toad Spirit, her eyes devoid of any lingering affection. Resolutely, she turned and transformed into a streak of light, soaring into the sky. 0

“Su Wan'er! Don’t go! I know I was wrong, I regret it. Please don’t leave,” the Toad Spirit cried out as he watched Su Wan'er's figure vanish, met only with silence. 0

The villagers dared not intervene, leaving him alone on his knees, weeping uncontrollably, tears blurring his vision. 0

Without Su Wan'er's secret assistance, the Toad Spirit quickly reverted from a wealthy merchant back to an ordinary hunter, toiling daily for his livelihood. 0

Meanwhile, in the Heavenly Court, a scene of joy unfolded. 0

The handsome and dashing God of War, Mo Linhao, and the beautiful Su Wan'er were celebrating a grand wedding. 0

Deities from all realms came to offer their congratulations, and the entire Heavenly Court was enveloped in a festive atmosphere. 0

Su Wan'er donned a magnificent bridal gown, and Mo Linhao gazed at her in her wedding attire, finding her even more radiant than usual. A blissful smile spread across his face. 0

“Su Wan'er, thank you for giving me the chance to share a future with you…” 0
