In the United States, Connecticut, there lies one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the world, Yale University.
After leaving Li Yunye's residence, Jiang Chen boarded Jon Delson's private plane and flew directly to New Haven. Jon was unaware of Jiang Chen's purpose for visiting New Haven, and he had no need to know; as a servant, one should never be too curious about their master's affairs. "Wait here for a moment at the school gate," Jiang Chen instructed.
Not far from the entrance of Yale University, a Rolls-Royce came to a stop. Jiang Chen got out alone and walked slowly into Yale University. Seeing him stride confidently towards the campus, Jon Delson turned to Qin Xiaoya and remarked with a smile, "It looks like the master is off to meet a girl."
Qin Xiaoya chuckled and gave Jon a thumbs-up. "You really have sharp eyes."
"Miss Qin is too kind. By the way, I'm curious—what kind of girl could win the master's favor?" Jon asked with genuine interest.
"I wonder too," Qin Xiaoya said, gazing at Jiang Chen's retreating figure, her expression turning contemplative as she fell into her own thoughts.
Within the Yale University campus, Jiang Chen made his way towards a specific spot. There was no need for him to use any special abilities; no one paid him any mind as Asian faces were common in this environment.
On a patch of grass, Jiang Chen spotted Su Xue sitting on a bench with several other girls, discussing something while using their laptops. He chose not to interrupt them and leaned against a tree quietly observing.
But he wasn't the only one watching Su Xue; many male students passing by couldn't help but steal glances at her. With her exquisite beauty, she would stand out as the belle of any school—such a girl would be hard to miss anywhere.
Su Xue was accustomed to these admiring looks and paid them no mind as she continued discussing her paper with her classmates. Next year, she would graduate from her master's program and return to Huaxia, back to the Su Family in the capital.

“You must be a freshman this year, right? I haven't seen you in the Huaxia International Student club,” the other person asked casually.
“No, I’m just passing by and decided to take a look,” Jiang Chen replied with a smile.
“Oh, that makes sense. I know most of the Huaxia International Students at Yale. Since you’re not from Yale, it’s no wonder I don’t recognize you. Looking at you, it seems like you didn’t just come to take a look; you must be trying to pursue Su Xue, right?”
Jiang Chen’s expression stiffened slightly in surprise.
“Haha, Su Xue is quite famous. Many people from outside the school come looking for her. I saw you staring at her for almost ten minutes. I mean, brother, you’re being way too obvious; it’s like you’re a peeping Tom. Be careful not to get caught by Su Xue,” the Huaxia International Student said with a hearty laugh.
Jiang Chen’s expression softened a bit; he found it somewhat amusing that he had indeed lost his composure earlier.
“Don’t worry; Su Xue won’t notice me,” Jiang Chen chuckled.
“You're really confident! But I advise you to give up on that thought. Over the years, countless people have pursued Su Xue, and she has never agreed to anyone. With your conditions, you have no hope at all.” The Huaxia International Student scrutinized Jiang Chen and smirked when he saw that Jiang Chen wasn’t as handsome as himself.
Jiang Chen smiled faintly. Although this Huaxia International Student was quite entertaining, he didn’t want to engage in too much conversation.
“Did you come here just to talk to me about this? If there’s nothing else, please don’t linger around me. If you keep talking like this, Su Xue will really notice me,” Jiang Chen said kindly.
“I just wanted to make a friend. By the way, I forgot to introduce myself; my name is Gui Li. Are you working here, on a business trip, or living here?” Gui Li asked. He looked refined but turned out to be quite talkative. However, such people usually had strong social skills and would likely do well in a prestigious school like Yale.
“Just traveling,” Jiang Chen replied indifferently.
“Oh, what’s your name?” Gui Li asked.
“Jiang Chen.”
“From your accent, you must be from the south. I’m from Tianfu City in Chuan Province; which province are you from?”
“Southeast Province.”
“I guess you must be a rich second generation.”
“Do I look like a rich second generation?” Jiang Chen replied with exasperation; Gui Li sure had a lot to say.
"It doesn't seem like it, but your behavior is quite similar. Traveling all the way to the United States to see Su Xue is something ordinary people wouldn't do; only some rich second-generation kids back home would pull off something like this."
"Alright, Gui, you don't need to be curious about my identity. I just want to wander around here by myself; you can go about your business," Jiang Chen said, already showing signs of impatience.
However, Jiang Chen underestimated Gui Li's thick skin. He didn't seem to pick up on Jiang Chen's hint and enthusiastically offered to be his tour guide, eager to show Jiang Chen around the Yale campus.
"Gui, I've already said that I want to explore on my own," Jiang Chen emphasized.
Fortunately, this time Gui Li understood Jiang Chen's meaning, but much to Jiang Chen's dismay, he still didn't leave.
"Brother, I get what you're saying, but I can't just walk away," Gui Li said earnestly.
