"I'm connected to the WiFi just fine. Maybe your phone is broken?"

"The remote? I haven't seen it; maybe you should look again?"
Three denials, accompanied by an innocent face.
Wang Jie pointed at me, trembling with anger.

After stammering "you" for a while, she couldn't get a single word out.

I slammed the door shut.
