Seeing the photos and videos, Master Pei Zhuang's disdainful expression turned slightly serious.
"This is interesting. Judging by their techniques, they must be using Inner Energy externally. They are likely two Transformation Realm Experts from Huaxia. However, Transformation Realm Experts are not yet qualified to make me intervene. White Leopard, Hongyue, you two have been training for many years. Go out and use these two Huaxia people to practice your skills," Master Pei Zhuang said with a faint smile.
"Understood, Master," White Leopard and Hongyue replied respectfully.
"Thank you, Master Pei Zhuang, for your assistance," Yosef Todaro quickly expressed his gratitude. He had no doubt about the strength of White Leopard and Hongyue; a great master produces outstanding disciples.
...
It was the weekend.
Today was quite busy. In the morning, Jiang Chen received a message from Su Xue asking when he would arrive in New York. Jiang Chen replied that he would arrive in the evening because he still needed to settle accounts with the Kaimanwei Family during the day.
The three-day deadline had passed, and he hoped Dawson Caymanwei would bring him good news. However, Jiang Chen knew that the chances of Dawson bringing him good news were slim.
"Young Master, the Clan Leader of the Kaimanwei Family has arranged for us to meet at a military shooting club. He definitely has ulterior motives; we don't need to fall into his trap," Qin Xiaoya said on their way to the meeting.
"It doesn't matter where we meet; it's all the same to me. I only care about the outcome," Jiang Chen casually replied.
This time, Jon Delson and Niyona also accompanied him. They had an additional task: to take over the Kaimanwei Family. Jiang Chen helped Jon disguise his appearance since Jon was somewhat of a notable figure in the United States, and revealing himself too early could lead to unnecessary trouble.
As for Niyona, since she would be following Qin Xiaoya in the future, it was appropriate for her to gain more experience. She was already a lonely person, so becoming Qin Xiaoya's assistant suited her perfectly.
At the entrance of the shooting club, Dawson Caymanwei was already waiting respectfully.
"Mr. Jiang, I have some leads on that matter. Let's go inside and discuss it in detail," Dawson Caymanwei said with a smile, seemingly eager for Jiang Chen to enter the shooting club.
Jiang Chen glanced at Dawson Caymanwei and subtly frowned; it seemed that Dawson was not someone who understood the situation well.
"Young Master, this old man seems a bit different from three days ago; something feels off," Qin Xiaoya whispered, sensing something unusual.
Jiang Chen smiled slightly and didn't mind it much.
"Let's go inside; I hope there is good news waiting for me," Jiang Chen said as he strode into the shooting club.
Dawson Caymanwei led the way, quickly arriving at an outdoor shooting range where General Breli was shooting at a large log with a Barrett Sniper Rifle.
With a loud bang, the log taller than a person was shattered by the bullet from the sniper rifle. This scene did not escape the eyes of Jiang Chen and his companions as they approached.
Qin Xiaoya furrowed her brows, pondering whether she could withstand the bullets from the Barrett Sniper Rifle. The odds were heavily against her; the power of the Barrett far surpassed that of a handgun. Moreover, it was evident that Dawson Caymanwei had brought them here as a show of force. Was he foolish enough to think that with just some firearms, he could take on Jiang Chen? Qin Xiaoya shook her head in amusement, finding his arrogance laughable.
“General Breli, they’re here,” Dawson Caymanwei said with a smile.
Brelly, holding the Sniper Rifle, glanced back at Jiang Chen and the others with a nonchalant expression, as if he found them unworthy of concern.
“Is it really them?” Brelly chuckled lightly.
Dawson Caymanwei nodded.
Brelly’s sharp gaze swept over Jiang Chen and his companions before finally settling on Jiang Chen himself. “A mere Huaxia kid dares to act recklessly on my United States territory? Who do you think you are?” Suddenly, Brelly's voice rose sharply, his expression turning cold as he reprimanded them.
“What does this mean, Dawson?” Jiang Chen ignored Brelly and turned to Dawson Caymanwei, offering a faint smile.
At that moment, Jiang Chen appeared completely at ease, which inexplicably made Dawson Caymanwei feel anxious. A mix of emotions crossed his face as he seemed to resolve to confront Jiang Chen directly.
“It means nothing much; I just asked General Breli to deal with you. Do you know General Breli?” Dawson Caymanwei sneered.
“No,” Jiang Chen replied disinterestedly.
“Then let me introduce you. This is General Iron Fist Brelly of the United States,” Dawson Caymanwei said proudly. After all, who wouldn’t feel confident having a general as their backing, especially one from the United States?
“I’m not interested in any general; I only care if you have any leads on that item,” Jiang Chen said flatly.
“Even if I did, I wouldn’t tell you, kid. In front of General Breli, I advise you not to be so arrogant,” Dawson Caymanwei scoffed, then quietly stepped behind General Breli.
At that moment, General Breli’s face was extremely grim; Jiang Chen had completely disregarded him.
Suddenly, Brelly raised the Barrett and aimed it at Jiang Chen, sneering, “Dawson says your skills are impressive and that even a handgun can’t handle you. I’m curious—can you catch a bullet from my Sniper Rifle?”
