"Li Yunye, are you afraid? If you admit defeat in public, I can let you off," Pei Zhuang said with a cold laugh as he noticed Li Yunye hesitating to engage.
"To battle with you is my aspiration; why should I fear?" Li Yunye replied boldly, stepping forward and soaring towards the top of the stone pillar like a suspended wire.
"Impressive!" Many young martial artists, fresh to the world of martial arts, were stirred with excitement upon witnessing this move. Although there were many martial experts in this world, most martial artists had only rudimentary skills. They couldn't even manage to walk on air, let alone scale walls. Li Yunye jumped from the cliff and landed directly on the top of the stone pillar fifty meters away. This move was indeed spectacular, and it was no wonder that many young people cheered.
At the top of the stone pillar, the wind howled as Li Yunye and Master Pei Zhuang faced each other from a distance, both appearing calm and composed. In that moment, their eyes were solely focused on one another. When it came to martial arts mastery, both stood at the pinnacle of martial arts on Earth, and this battle would undoubtedly be awe-inspiring.

In an instant, he closed the ten-meter gap and struck like lightning. Li Yunye did not dare to be careless; they intertwined like phantoms in combat.
With a loud bang, after their palms met, both retreated a few steps. However, Li Yunye found himself at the edge of the stone pillar while Pei Zhuang stood firmly in the center. It was clear that Pei Zhuang had gained the upper hand in this first exchange.
"It seems you haven't neglected your training all these years," Pei Zhuang remarked with a faint smile.
"Likewise," Li Yunye replied calmly. Yet deep within his gaze lay a profound seriousness; Pei Zhuang's strength shocked him—he had indeed reached the Transcendent Realm. However, this fleeting thought quickly passed through Li Yunye's mind as he began to integrate Jiang Chen's guidance from recent days into his practical combat. The Martial Arts Divine Realm had allowed him to master both the use of true energy and perception of external environments to a level of unity with nature. Yet achieving such mastery was easier said than done.
Among so many martial talents in Huaxia's Hidden Sect, there were hardly any who could reach the Transcendent Realm.
Li Yunye's life seemed destined to be devoid of any connection to the Transcendent Realm until Jiang Chen's guidance opened up new possibilities for him.
"Li Yunye, stop dawdling and take my next strike!" Pei Zhuang laughed heartily as he unleashed a palm strike. His vital energy coalesced into hundreds of illusory hands that surged towards Li Yunye like a tidal wave.
Li Yunye's pupils constricted; he couldn't afford to be careless. With heightened focus, he crossed his hands and gathered his inner energy, wrapping it in white light.
"Break!"
With a powerful shout, Li Yunye exerted all his strength into unleashing a wind blade several meters long—his proud signature move known as Yuqi Technique. This technique commanded energy with spirit and transformed energy into form for lethal strikes; it was an advanced manipulation of true energy with considerable power.
The two streams of inner energy collided with a sharp sound akin to two strong winds crashing together. Vital energy burst forth like fireworks as fierce winds swirled around them, sending small stones from the pillar into the air.
If they had been too close together, one would have been blinded by the clash of their vital energies. However, those observing from above the cliff had a clear view of this battle.
"How powerful!" The young martial artists were all excited; this was true martial prowess on display—not mere flashy techniques.
"Oh no! It seems Li Yunye isn't a match for Pei Zhuang!" someone suddenly exclaimed in alarm as they realized that after their energies collided, Li Yunye's wind blade failed to shatter those illusory hands—at least dozens continued to advance towards him.
All of this transpired within mere seconds. Li Yunye reacted swiftly; however, using Yuqi Technique required a significant cooldown period before it could be employed again. He wouldn't have enough time to summon more inner energy now, and there was no way to evade this situation either.
In a flash of thought, Li Yunye leaped off the stone pillar.
"Ah?" This scene startled the onlookers. Among those present, apart from the Mafia families, most were supporters of Li Yunye. Naturally, they were shocked to see him jump off the cliff.
As Li Yunye made his sudden leap, the hands formed from Inner Energy struck the air.
Master Pei Zhuang, wearing a smug smile, approached the edge of the stone pillar to assess the situation. Suddenly, a figure darted out from the edge of the pillar, catching Master Pei Zhuang off guard and nearly getting hit.
Li Yunye landed back on the platform of the stone pillar, distancing himself from Master Pei Zhuang. Although he appeared somewhat disheveled at that moment, his aura subtly shifted; there was a newfound calmness in his deep-set eyes.
Of course, these subtle changes went unnoticed by the onlookers; only Master Pei Zhuang could perceive them.
"What’s going on? His strength seems to have increased suddenly. Did he take some kind of drug?" Pei Zhuang mused, slightly surprised. A sudden increase in an opponent's strength at such a moment was indeed troublesome.
"Are you surprised, Pei Zhuang? Earlier, there was indeed a gap between our strengths, but now I am on par with you," Li Yunye replied with a smile that carried a hint of relief from surviving a dire situation.
"Heh, Li Yunye, I didn’t expect you to be so shameless. Do you think that taking some drugs can elevate your strength to my level? Let me tell you, that’s impossible. True strength is forged through relentless practice; what you’re doing is merely quenching your thirst with poison," Master Pei Zhuang sneered coldly.
"Who said I took drugs?"
"If you didn’t take drugs, did you break through on your own?"
"You’re right; I did just break through my bottleneck, and I have you to thank for it. If it weren’t for you, it would have taken me several more months to achieve this breakthrough," Li Yunye said cheerfully. After being stuck at a bottleneck for years, he never expected to break through in such a critical moment.
Now Master Pei Zhuang's previously indifferent expression darkened. He had come to kill Li Yunye, not to help him break through.
"Hmph! Even if you've broken through, so what? You are still no match for me," Master Pei Zhuang said in a deep voice, his killing intent intensifying. Since Li Yunye had broken through, he could no longer be spared.
"I’m not looking to defeat you; I just want to be able to hold my ground against you," Li Yunye replied with a smile. With his newfound strength came an elevated mindset.
"Hold your ground? You think too highly of yourself. Even with your sudden breakthrough, I wouldn’t need to use my ultimate techniques against you. Now, however, I can show you what they are," Master Pei Zhuang scoffed.
"Ultimate techniques? What ultimate techniques?" Li Yunye asked instinctively. Although he had fortuitously broken through his bottleneck, he knew there was still a gap between him and Pei Zhuang. Winning against Pei Zhuang would be incredibly difficult; even achieving a draw would not be easy.
