Yue Lin looked around her room in confusion, unable to grasp the situation.

Sitting on the edge of her bed, she scratched her head in puzzlement and instinctively glanced down at her palms, slowly opening and closing her fists a few times—

She did it! She successfully entered a lucid dream state!

She thought for a moment... Right! She needed to open the door and check.
Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Yue Lin stood up with a hint of excitement. However, in the next moment, she suddenly froze in place—
Before her stood two doors.
Why are there two doors?
Yue Lin stood there in a daze for quite some time, her slightly muddled mind struggling to think.
She was certain that her room only had one door, the intricately carved wooden door on her right.
So, what about the one on the left?
She curiously examined the unfamiliar door on the left—its white background adorned with blue floral patterns, while the frame and handle were golden, giving it an air of luxury.
She had never seen a door like this before.
So, which one should she open?
Should she open the familiar door? Or should she open this completely unknown one?
She didn’t know…

“…So, you just stood there waiting to wake up?”
After reading today’s Dream Exchange Diary, Meng Yi turned to her with an incredulous expression.
“Well… I remember deciding to open that unfamiliar door, but I don’t know if it was because I hesitated too long, but as soon as I got close to it, it disappeared…” Yue Lin said, scratching her head in confusion.
“This is the most progress we’ve made so far; it feels a bit regrettable…” Meng Yi couldn’t help but show a hint of disappointment.
"Yes, I feel quite regretful too..." Yue Lin couldn't help but feel annoyed. "I mean, the state of thinking in dreams really isn't better than reality; it's like being in a haze, and even the smallest things take a long time to process."
"It seems there really is some difficulty!" Meng Yi sighed. "But I envy you a bit; after all, my dreams so far haven't felt any different at all..."
"I think since your dream scenes are less fixed, why not just give up on creating anchor points and try logging in randomly instead?" Yue Lin suggested casually while flipping through Meng Yi's dream journal. "Who knows, it might yield unexpected results!"
"Well... that's true, and it could serve as your control group to see whether setting fixed anchor points makes it easier to enter lucid dreams or if not having anchor points allows for smooth entry into lucid dreams." With that thought, Meng Yi couldn't help but sigh again. "But the prerequisite is that I need to be able to do it!"
"You can do it! Just bring out your love for the characters and let's stick with it together!" Yue Lin smiled and patted her shoulder for encouragement. "By the way, if it were you, which door would you choose to open?"
"That goes without saying—of course, the one I've never seen before!" Meng Yi replied matter-of-factly. "Just think about it; that's a 'door that doesn't exist' in the real world! It must be related to the dream world! Since our goal is to explore dreams, we should naturally move in a direction that's different from reality!"
"So, what happens after we open the door?" Yue Lin asked with confusion.
"Well... the current issue is that we have no idea what's behind the door, right?" Meng Yi suddenly frowned in deep thought. "How about this: if the same dream comes again, you think about your true love while opening the door and see if you can summon him to appear!"
"If only it were that easy," Yue Lin couldn't help but chuckle at that.
"In any case, if we can successfully open the door and confirm there's no danger, let's try going in! After all, we need to find out what's behind the door before we can plan our next steps!"
