Zhang Wenwen was an impulsive person, yet strangely, she managed to endure the feeling of being used. She hesitated, knowing that if she confronted Zhu Boyun, the worst outcome would be parting ways with him. The thought of this made her feel… reluctant to let go. 0

“Wife, what are you thinking about? You look so lost in thought.” The slender figure by the floor-to-ceiling window was embraced by the man behind her. Zhang Wenwen gazed at the night sky, revealing a cold smile. 0

“Are you not worried that your wife might fight with your lover?” She pulled his hands away and turned to face him, only to be taken aback by the sight before her. 0

He was wearing nothing but a pair of boxers, exposing his muscular chest. She forced her gaze to remain on his face. Had she ever been attracted to this man before her amnesia? Why was it that seeing him so exposed made her feel so calm? Aside from her heart racing a little faster, her facial expression remained composed. 0

He smiled lightly and said, “Of course, it’s because I know you’re magnanimous that I dare to do this. After all, since your amnesia, you’ve consistently refused to share a bed with me. I can’t help but feel lonely.” 0

Zhang Wenwen quietly observed his helpless expression, biting her lip as she suddenly stood on her tiptoes… 0

He was stunned; her proximity shocked him with her boldness. The air between them thickened with an ambiguous tension as she nervously and shyly stepped back, only to be pulled back by his grip on her waist. 0

His lips brushed against hers lightly before he suddenly opened his mouth and captured her soft warmth. Outside the glass window, moonlight poured in, illuminating the intimacy between them. Not far away, a suspicious figure lurked around the corner, firmly gripping the wall. 0

It wasn’t until they parted that the shadow disappeared into the night. 0

“Why did you kiss me? Do you think I’m easy to bully because of my amnesia?” She touched her lips and glared at him, though her heart raced. “If you dare to do anything unfaithful, you’ll regret it.” 0

He chuckled as he ruffled her hair. “So you’re finally going to defend your rights as a wife? Don’t worry; even if I’m a flirt, I know my limits.” 0

Looking at his face and eyes, Zhang Wenwen surprisingly found herself believing him. However, recalling what had happened today, she darkened her expression. “What’s going on between you and Liang Xiaoyan? Sending love letters is already suspicious enough; you two have even dated before.” 0

"Are you jealous?" He stroked his chin, raising an eyebrow with a mischievous smile. "Just say a couple of sweet words, and I'll clarify everything. What do you say?" 0

He really was... Zhang Wenwen rolled her eyes at him. "No need, I'll check it myself." With that, she turned to head back to her room, but her wrist was suddenly grabbed. "What... mmm..." 0

Her mouth was covered. 0

"Wife, do you know why marriage has legal validity? To... prevent domestic emotional abuse. Ah, the moon is so round tonight, perfect for some heart-to-heart communication." 0

Zhang Wenwen stomped on his foot hard. "I'll talk after I confirm the authenticity of that marriage certificate." She raised her chin and looked down at him as he squatted there nursing his foot, noticing he was still howling in pain. Was it really that bad? 0

"Hey—" She gently pushed his shoulder. 0

"It hurts! Are you made of steel? Why hit so hard? Are you trying to turn your husband into a cripple?" 0

From the frantic tone of his voice, she could tell he must be seriously hurt. Feeling guilty, Zhang Wenwen squatted down and reached out to pull his hand away. "Let me see." 0

Suddenly, her vision went dark as he hoisted her onto his shoulder, giving her backside a light smack. "Do you really think your husband is that weak? Haha." 0

"Put me down!" She kicked her legs wildly. 0

"Ah!" He suddenly let out a cry and set her down. 0

"What’s this? Another trick?" She wouldn't fall for it; she defensively stepped back several paces, finally getting a clear look at what he was covering with his hands. 0

Her eyes widened in disbelief. No way! Although she felt like she had kicked something, it couldn't have been that precise, could it? 0

Knowing that she had caused trouble, Zhang Wenwen not only slipped back to her room and locked the door, but she also dared not act arrogantly anymore. Meanwhile, Zhu Boyun was left there, growling, "Heartless woman, if you end up unhappy in the future, don't blame me..." But he certainly wouldn't be that weak! 0
