How coincidental that Li Yunfan, such a meticulous person, would naturally keep an eye out. It wasn't until I got into trouble that everything changed. That night, on my way to the Ye Family's residence, I sent Li Yunfan a text message but deleted all the words before it went out. In the end, the message I sent was blank.
But as clever as he was, he still sensed that something was off. I didn’t know where I found the courage to take such a gamble.

I reached for his hand, but he wouldn’t let me hold it, pressing his lips tightly together and pulling away forcefully. I shamelessly continued to grasp his fingers.
He tried to pull away again, and I frowned. “The incision hurts so much…”
“Just lie still,” he said, startled, quickly helping me lie back down.
Then he lifted my shirt to check the wound. Looking at his focused and tender gaze filled me with sweetness.
“Li Yunfan…”
I gently caressed his face. “Can you hold me?”
He glanced at me, and I looked back at him with soft eyes.
He was soft-hearted towards me and couldn't stay angry any longer, so he reached out and hugged me.
"Brother."
I leaned close to his ear and whispered,
"That day when I went to the hospital for a breast examination, why did your ears turn so red when you saw me?"
As soon as I said this, I noticed the tips of his ears were faintly turning red again.
He tried to pull away from me, but I simply opened my mouth and gently bit his ear.
"You’re a surgeon; you’ve seen everything. Do you get red ears when you look at other girls too?"

Li Yunfan's breath became a bit uneven.
