The group of black-clad men, hearing such rewards, began to howl excitedly as if they had been injected with adrenaline, charging forward in groups of three or five to surround the four individuals and swing their blades. 0

Wang Yi let out a cold snort; the voice in the darkness was familiar, and he recognized it belonged to Su Ming. The Kaiyang Sword in his hand suddenly spun like a flash of lightning, blood spraying everywhere. The four men had deep gashes appear on their waists and abdomens, letting out a scream before collapsing to the ground, blood pooling around them. The night wind picked up, filling the air with the stench of blood that was nauseating. 0

"Kill!" one of the black-clad men shouted as he charged forward, his eyes filled with greed. He had only one thought in his mind: if he could kill this person before him, he would rise to fame and fortune, enjoying endless wealth. 0

However, before his large blade could descend, he felt a chill at his neck, and his head rolled off onto the ground. His eyes widened in disbelief as he did not understand why he had died. 0

Wang Yi stepped lightly, the Kaiyang Sword flowing like moonlight among the crowd of black-clad men. It moved like a flash of lightning, and wherever it passed, screams erupted. He quickly joined up with Sun Meng and the others, saying, "Let's go." 0

Sun Meng and the others nodded in unison, their figures expanding as they danced with their large blades, the Blade Light piercing through the air, staining their clothes with blood. 0

"Hmph, waste! You four come at me!" A furious roar echoed through the night. 0

Before the words had faded, four figures flickered in the darkness and confronted Wang Yi's group. 0

"Earth Spirit Realm Martial Artists," Sun Shan said angrily. 0

"Get lost! Kill!" Sun Ba shouted furiously. 0

Wang Yi's pupils constricted as he realized something was wrong; the four people before him were all martial artists above the fifth level of Earth Spirit Realm. He immediately warned Sun Meng and the others to be cautious. 0

"Hmph, no one our young master wants dead has ever lived to tell the tale," sneered a thin black-clad man. 0

At that moment, the four stood together. 0

A hulking black-clad man blocked Wang Yi's path and said, "Kid, die!" With that, he swung his blade down towards Wang Yi's shoulder. 0

Wang Yi let out a cold snort, and the Kaiyang Sword shot out like a bolt of lightning. With a clang, sparks flew, and the cold light was blinding as the sword clashed against another blade, radiating chilling brilliance. 0

The Hulking Black-Clad Man was at the fifth level of the Earth Spirit Realm, possessing formidable strength; however, he was still vastly inferior to Heber Fu. 0

Flow Break! 0

The first move of the Crimson Sun Blade Technique, Flow Break, sliced through the air, targeting the Hulking Black-Clad Man's throat. 0

The Hulking Black-Clad Man suddenly felt a piercing chill and a surge of murderous intent rushing toward him. The sword energy shimmered as he hurriedly swung his blade to block it. With a clang, Wang Yi tilted the Kaiyang Sword slightly and slashed down at an angle. Stars seemed to explode around him, and with a squelching sound, a head flew off, blood gushing from the decapitated corpse and spraying high into the night sky, filling the air with the scent of blood. 0

"Ah!" A scream shattered the night. Wang Yi turned back to see that the black-clad man's long sword had pierced Sun Shan's heart, who then collapsed onto the ground. 0

"Sun Shan!" Wang Yi cried out frantically as he thrust the Kaiyang Sword forward, aiming directly at the back of the black-clad man's head. 0

Second Brother! 0

Sun Meng and Sun Ba were overwhelmed with grief, tears streaming from their fierce eyes. The three had grown up together since childhood, sharing deep bonds; they never expected that Sun Shan would be killed by a thief today, plunging them into profound sorrow. 0

"Die!" Sun Ba was in a daze as he saw the black-clad man clearly. He swung his sword down, but Sun Ba was taken by surprise and quickly retreated. However, it was too late; with a crack, his left arm flew into the night sky, blood gushing forth as he collapsed to the ground. 0

The black-clad man did not expect Sun Ba to evade this strike and grinned wickedly. "Die!" 0

"Sun Ba!" Wang Yi's face was filled with killing intent as he shot forward like lightning. The Kaiyang Sword thrust horizontally and with a clang, blocked the black-clad man's lethal strike. 0

"Third Brother." Sun Meng furiously wielded his large blade, using the recoil to retreat beside Sun Ba. 0

Ah! 0

The arrow pierced through the air with incredible speed, striking Sun Ba in the heart, blood gushing forth and staining his clothes. 0

“Third Brother.” Tears welled up in Sun Menghu's eyes, filled with sorrow. In just one night, he had lost two brothers, and his heart was ablaze with rage as he shouted, “I will kill you all!” 0

Thud! Thud! Thud! 0

Sun Meng shot forward like lightning, his large blade spinning. The Blade Light flashed like electricity, and several heads flew into the air, blood staining the night sky. 0

“Surround them!” Two figures leaped out from the darkness. The moonlight illuminated them, revealing their luxurious attire—who else could they be but the Su Hai Brothers? 0

With a wave of their hands, shadows moved around them. Nearly thirty black-clad figures surrounded Wang Yi and Sun Meng, with Blade Light and sword lights aimed at them, exuding a murderous aura. 0

At this moment, the streets were littered with corpses, blood flowing like rivers. The once blue stone slabs had lost their original color and were now stained red with blood. 0

“Su Hai.” Wang Yi's eyes turned red as he glared at the Su Hai Brothers, speaking each word coldly and devoid of emotion, like a chilling wind. The deaths of Sun Ba and Sun Shan filled him with guilt; if it weren't for him, they might still be alive. 0

“Su Hai, I will kill you to avenge my second brother, Third Brother.” Sun Meng was already at the peak of his fury, his eyes bloodshot as if soaked in blood. 0

“Hmph, kill me? Just the two of you? Let me tell you, next year on this day will be your day of sacrifice.” Su Ming said ominously: “Kill!” 0

Kill! Kill! Kill! 0

The two of them charged into the crowd of black-clad figures. Blade Qi Zongheng, sword energy surged forth, blood splattered everywhere, heads flew, and bodies lay strewn about. 0

“Die!” A martial artist from the Earth Spirit Realm brandished his long sword, aiming directly at Wang Yi. Suddenly feeling the sword light approaching him, Wang Yi unleashed the second form of the Crimson Sun Blade Technique, Zongheng. The long sword broke through the air, its light cascading down like a silver river from above, forming a chain of sword light aimed straight for his opponent's heart. 0

This person is from the Earth Spirit Realm, Sevenfold, and among the four, he possesses the greatest strength. 0

Clang! 0

As the sword tips made contact, a burst of sword light erupted. The man in black lightly twisted his wrist, and the long sword in his hand slithered out like a silver snake, aiming directly at Wang Yi's tendons. This strike was incredibly fierce, with an angle so tricky that if Wang Yi were to be hit, his wrist would surely be crippled. 0

However, Wang Yi was not an easy target. He lightly tapped his toes on the ground and instantly leaped into the air, executing the third form of the Crimson Sun Blade Technique: Refining Fire! 0

Clang! 0

The black-clad man's long sword shot upward from below, his body leaning to the left as Kaiyang Sword narrowly missed him. 0

Watch out! 0

Wang Yi was taken aback as he saw the black-clad man’s left hand swirling. A palm struck directly against Wang Yi's chest. Wang Yi immediately felt an unmatched Vital Energy surge into him, and with a loud crash, he tasted blood in his throat as it spurted out. His body arched beautifully through the night sky before crashing down to the ground. 0

"Brother Wang!" Sun Meng exclaimed in alarm upon seeing Wang Yi lying on the ground with a pale face and weak breath. Panic surged in her heart as she cried out. 0

Whoosh! 0

Taking advantage of the situation, the opponent thrust his sword forward. Sun Meng was startled and swung her sword to block it. With a clang, her body staggered back. Unexpectedly, the black-clad man flew towards her and struck her on the back, causing her blood to surge and spurt out as she fell to the ground as well. 0

"Hahaha, Wang Yi, now I want to see where you can escape!" Su Ming sneered with a wicked grin. "Kill!" 0

Ah! Ah! Ah! 0

Suddenly, there was a loud sound of air being sliced through, followed by a series of screams as more than ten black-clad men fell to the ground simultaneously. 0

"Who? Who is it?" The Su Hai Brothers' faces changed dramatically, their complexions devoid of blood. They saw the rooftops on both sides of the street gleaming with cold light, filled with crossbowmen, sharp crossbow bolts aimed directly at the Su Hai Brothers. 0

"Kill!" a man in black shouted, waving his hand. 0

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! 0

A dense rain of crossbow bolts shot out like arrows. 0

"Block it, block it!" Su Hai urgently called as he pulled a bewildered man in black in front of him. The latter was immediately struck by several bolts and breathed his last. 0

An unexpected turn of events brought joy to Wang Yi and Sun Meng, as they noticed that while the bolts were shot with precision, not a single one was aimed at them. 0

Su Ming's expression turned from joy to panic, his body trembling as he said, "Quick... quick run!" 0

"What are you still doing? Hurry up and protect me and my second brother!" Su Hai shouted in fear at the two Earth Spirit Realm Martial Artists. 0

The latter immediately nodded and ordered the men in black to protect the Su Hai Brothers and lead them out of the range of the deadly crossbow fire. 0

"No need to chase," the Black-Clad Leader waved his hand and said, "Take them away." 0

Wang Yi and Sun Meng were puzzled but severely injured, unable to move. Just as they were about to resist, a pain struck their heads, and they fainted, allowing the two men in black to carry them away. 0

In the blink of an eye, the group of men in black led Wang Yi and Sun Meng away into the night, leaving behind a scene of carnage and bloodshed. 0

The night wind blew, making the air feel cold and desolate. 0

When Wang Yi woke up again, he found himself lying on a bed. The room was luxuriously decorated, with a zitan wood table holding a blue incense burner from which wisps of fragrant smoke wafted, sweet and elegant. 0

"What is this place?" Wang Yi looked out the window but saw no one and did not see Sun Meng, which made him feel increasingly worried. 0

At that moment, with a creak, a delicate-looking maid dressed in Palace Attire walked in, holding a bowl of medicinal soup. 0

Seeing Wang Yi awake, the maid exclaimed, "Ah!" and hurriedly placed the soup on the table, saying, "Young Master, you are awake! I will go report to the Young Master." With that, she rushed out of the room. 0

Wang Yi gazed outside and saw a courtyard filled with exotic flowers and plants in vibrant colors, competing for beauty and exuding fragrance. The shapes of the rockeries were peculiar, and on either side of the courtyard stood lush unknown trees. He could faintly hear the sound of flowing water from beyond the courtyard wall, crisp and pleasant, creating a rare scene in the human world. 0

At that moment, two figures appeared at the door, blocking the exquisite view of the courtyard. 0

"Wang brother, you finally woke up," said one of them, a tall young man with handsome features, smiling. 0

"Did you save me?" Wang Yi was taken aback as he looked at the two before him; they were Zhang Xuan and his brother. 0

"Surprised, aren't you?" Zhang Xuan chuckled. 0

"Indeed, I didn't expect this. Aren't you afraid that Su Hai Brothers will find out? Besides, it seems we have no connection," Wang Yi said thoughtfully. He felt puzzled; although there was animosity between Zhang Xuan and Su Hai Brothers, it had not reached the point of life and death. From Zhang Xuan's actions that night, it was clear he could have killed Su Hai Brothers easily if he wanted to. Why did he save me? What could be his motive? 0
