"Wu Jie, how about I accompany you?" Yuan Peng volunteered, "President Song has other matters to attend to."
"Is this your place to speak?" Wu Yuqian no longer had a polite expression towards Yuan Peng, her imposing demeanor fully displayed, "Just do what you are supposed to do."
"This is what I am supposed to do." Yuan Peng was not flustered; he smiled gracefully, lowered his head, and stopped talking. Originally, he was supposed to be in charge of Hongqing's annual meeting project, but it was taken over by this sister who had been demoted.
However, thinking of Song Pearl mocking him with his pursuit plan, his mood brightened again.

Song Pearl closed her computer and walked with Wu Yuqian to Gourmet City, "Our Resort Gourmet City mainly features rural specialty dishes."
Gourmet City was clean and hygienic, and the manager led them to the back kitchen.
"Pearl, do you recognize these dishes?" Wu Yuqian interrupted the manager's introduction and instead asked Song Pearl, somewhat casually aggressive.
"I recognize them," Song Pearl nodded without any expression on her face.
How cold is her attitude towards me! Wu Yuqian felt displeased but managed a sweet smile.
She pointed at a row of neatly arranged dishes in surprise, "Can this dish really be served at a banquet? It looks like it's all wild vegetables! We never liked eating this when we were young!"
"This was just picked by several guests who requested it to be cooked. Many tourists coming to the Resort enjoy picking their own ingredients; our dishes feature local fresh wild vegetables as the main focus, supplied according to tourist requests," the manager explained proactively. "Over there are ingredients brought by other guests; they sent wild game caught from the back mountain, which is quite light."
He led Song Pearl and the others forward, where they saw chefs handling wild rabbits and mountain chickens. In the slaughter area, someone was still butchering a wild boar on-site. Seeing the blood, Wu Yuqian covered her mouth and nose and ran to the door, leaning against it as she nearly vomited.
Song Pearl has never been able to look at bloody scenes, but this time she felt nothing. Moreover, when she saw Wu Yuqian feeling unwell, she was still able to accompany her through the corridor to a place with fresh air.
The manager followed closely behind them and pointed to a nearby partition. "Look, this is the area specifically for handling fish; all of them are fresh live fish."
"Are the ingredients here all from Ecological Aquaculture Farm?" Wu Yuqian, regaining her color, asked.
"Yes, our large Ecological Aquaculture Farm supplies not only Resort but also sells across the country."
"Listen, is the most famous thing here the fish? Are they all from your Fish Pond?" she asked Song Pearl.
"Yes, the most famous is indeed our fish," Song Pearl replied, her eyes falling on the schools of fish swimming in the large pool inside the room.
Some of these fish were brought in by tourists who requested them to be cooked, while others were supplied according to the needs of Gourmet City.
Suddenly, her pupils constricted, and her expression changed; her mind went blank for a moment.
"Who sent that?"
The manager had never seen Song Pearl lose her composure like this before. He looked at the fish that Song Pearl was pointing at and immediately understood.
The fish had an elongated oval shape with a shallow forked tail. Its body was silver-gray, covered in pearl-like spots that seemed to shimmer in the rippling water. It remained quietly in the water, motionless.
"This Pearl Fish is very special; it was sent by a tourist. We were also curious about this fish; it's the first time in two years that such a large fish has been brought here, almost like a king of fish." The manager noticed Song Pearl's unusual expression and quickly added, "That person used your card; he instructed us to keep it and didn't want it prepared in any particular way..."
"Don't touch that fish; I'll handle it." Song Pearl's lips trembled slightly. Wasn't that her? Why was it suddenly caught?
"Is it alive?" she asked.
"Dead fish always float belly up. Although it's very quiet, it's definitely a live fish!" Wu Yuqian was very interested in the fish in the pond. She even approached it despite the fishy smell and gently nudged it aside with a net, curiously touching it with her hand.
When she pulled her hand back, her face showed deep thought. She clearly remembered the time she pushed Song Pearl into the Fish Pond; it was this fish that suddenly darted out and collided with Song Pearl.
She remembered vividly because the fish had distinctive features, its body adorned with pearls that looked real. When she called for help, this fish was floating on its back at the water's surface.
Back then, her family was poor. Even though they raised fish, they could never bear to catch two for themselves to eat. When she saw that fish drifting to the shore, she squatted down and stretched out her arm to catch it. Just as she grabbed its tail and her hand brushed against the pearls on its skin, the fish suddenly swept its tail and disappeared into the water.
She still remembered the sensation of that touch.
Little did she expect that more than a decade later, this fish would be caught again, and it hadn’t changed at all.
"That tourist over there, I want this fish," Wu Yuqian said as she rinsed her hands under the water pipe, looking at Song Pearl. "This time the Resort is fully booked, and I plan to prepare a live sashimi station..."
The feeling of being at someone else's mercy was truly unpleasant; it felt like being tortured!
Song Pearl's eyes flickered, and for a moment, she felt a sense of her soul returning to place. She looked at Wu Yuqian and tugged at her lips, "No, you can't take this fish!"
"How dare you contradict me!" Wu Yuqian's anger surged, but for some reason, when she saw Song Pearl smile at her, she felt an urge to agree with Song Pearl's words.
"Is the fish I brought earlier okay?" A pleasant voice came as a handsome young man breezed in like a gust of wind, a slight sheen of sweat on his forehead.
He hadn't expected to see Song Pearl in the kitchen and smiled at her, "I caught a fish from your Fish Pond and wanted to release it..."
"No, where are you taking it? This is her home!" Song Pearl instinctively blocked Fish Pond.
Ignoring Song Pearl's obstruction and not caring that the fishy Fish Pond would dirty his freshly changed white shirt, Wan stretched out his long arm, skillfully scooping the fish from the water, holding it in his hands as he turned and strode out.
"Stop!" Wan moved quickly, and since he had his back to Song Pearl, he was unaffected by her presence, forcing Song Pearl to turn and hurry after him.
Wan swiftly placed the fish into a large glass container filled with water in the trunk and closed the car door. Then, Song Pearl, who had followed him and grabbed him, was pushed into the passenger seat.
The car sped away, and Wu Yuqian, who was a step behind, stomped his foot in frustration.
"Where are you going? Stop!" Wan's speed was too fast for Song Pearl to make him hear her. At that moment, she couldn't even think about why this person was acting so strangely.
Song Pearl's anger was suppressed by Wan's forcefulness. For some reason, the charm wrapped around her finger showed no intention of helping her and remained completely still.
The wind began to rise, dark clouds gathered, and the most common summer storm approached. The car raced down the wide highway, kicking up layers of water mist.
