Lin Ning held the Sunlight Blade tightly as he slowly approached Toyotomi Yoshimi. Toyotomi Yoshimi asked, "Kid, have you made up your mind? Are you going to come with us to Japan?" Lin Ning replied firmly, "I will not go to Japan, and neither will Xue Yin's sister." With that, Lin Ning suddenly thrust the Sunlight Blade toward Toyotomi Yoshimi's sword with incredible speed. Toyotomi Yoshimi's sword moved away from Hu Xueyan's neck to meet Lin Ning's strike. The clash of their weapons revealed that Lin Ning's strength was greater; his Sunlight Blade knocked Toyotomi Yoshimi's sword aside. At that moment, Toyotomi Yoshimi could no longer use Hu Xueyan as a shield. Without any hesitation, Lin Ning transformed the Sunlight Blade into a dazzling white light, resembling a white dragon that danced around Toyotomi Yoshimi in every direction. 0

Toyotomi Yoshimi found herself in a precarious position, nearly cut by Lin Ning's blade several times. She was forced back under the mast of the warship and began to climb up it, pursued relentlessly by Lin Ning. As she hung upside down with her legs wrapped around the mast's beam, their swords clashed repeatedly, sparking brilliantly. The battle was not just a clash of blades but also a contest of internal strength. Toyotomi Yoshimi felt her arms grow numb; she knew that if she continued fighting Lin Ning, she would surely lose. 0

Avoiding the sharp edge of Lin Ning's Sunlight Blade, she slid down the ropes along the beam and landed on the deck. Lin Ning leaped to the top of the mast and tore down the Black and White Battle Flag hanging there before gracefully landing back on the deck. Suddenly, Toyotomi Yoshimi swung her sword down onto a section of the deck, revealing exposed gunpowder fuses underneath. Gasps filled the air as everyone realized what was at stake. Holding one end of the fuse in her left hand, Toyotomi Yoshimi shouted at Lin Ning, "This ship is filled with explosives! If you dare take another step forward, we all die together!" 0

Lin Ning quickly responded, "Toyotomi Yoshimi, don't do anything reckless." She smugly replied, "Lin Ning, are you scared? You still have time to regret your decision; you can agree to come with us to Japan." Shaking his head, Lin Ning said, "I have yet to avenge my parents' murder; how can I just walk away?" Enraged, Toyotomi Yoshimi retorted, "You truly are stubborn; I've given you a chance, but you've squandered it. I’ve changed my mind— even if you kneel and beg me to take you to Japan, I won’t agree." 0

Suddenly turning her gaze toward Hu Xueyan, she shouted, "Yin Zi! A man like this is not worth your love. Now I command you to kill him; otherwise, no one here will leave alive!" Hu Xueyan's pale face glistened with tears as confusion clouded her mind; her bewildered expression pained everyone present. Toyotomi Yoshimi urged again from behind her, "Yin Zi! Hurry and kill this ungrateful boy!" 0

Looking at her beloved Lin Ning, Hu Xueyan hesitated on how to proceed with such an act. Just then, a fierce storm erupted over the sea; dark clouds rolled in and waves surged violently as torrential rain poured down! Water streamed down Hu Xueyan’s dark hair; on her pale face it was impossible to tell whether it was tears or rain. Her gaze swept across the crowd as she cried out, "I Hu Xueyan do not wish to be Guanyin Bodhisattva or any kind of national hero; I only want to be with my beloved Brother Ning! Is that so wrong? Why is heaven so unfair to me?" The crowd looked on at her heart-wrenching expression with deep sympathy. 0

Suddenly a flash of lightning illuminated the dark sky and reflected off Hu Xueyan’s pale face, making her cheeks appear even more bloodless! Toyotomi Yoshimi urged again, "Yin Zi! Don’t hesitate any longer—kill him!" Hu Xueyan’s right hand trembled uncontrollably as she gritted her teeth and declared, "Fine! Let me be known as the eternal sinner who killed your great hero!" With that she raised Lady's Sword and thrust it directly toward Lin Ning’s chest. 0

Lin Ning's gaze remained fixed on Hu Xueyan’s heartbroken face until Lady's Sword pierced his chest; he didn’t even react or try to evade it. The crowd gasped in shock; Cong Rong and Liu Mengyuan screamed in unison, "Sister Xueing! No!" Lady's Sword sank an inch deep into Lin Ning’s chest as Hu Xueyan’s right hand shook violently. Blood mixed with rainwater flowed down Lin Ning’s clothes onto the deck below. He stared directly at Hu Xueyan without saying a word; he couldn’t comprehend why his beloved Xue Yin's sister had stabbed him! His heart bled. 0

Their eyes locked—Hu Xueyan saw the sorrowful yet tender look in Lin Ning’s eyes and could no longer push down on Lady's Sword any further. Suddenly Toyotomi Yoshimi appeared behind Hu Xueyan and grabbed her right arm forcefully pushing it forward. The sharp tip of Lady's Sword instantly pierced through Lin Ning’s chest; blood stained his clothes as it flowed from his front and back. The crowd gasped in horror while Hu Xueyan turned pale as paper and trembled uncontrollably; she released her grip on Lady's Sword and staggered back several steps before collapsing onto the ground with her hands covering her face as she wept uncontrollably. 0

Lin Ning cast one last glance at Hu Xueyan before he weakly closed his eyes and slowly fell backward. Cheng Yun and Lin Enzhe rushed forward to catch him as Cheng Yun shouted loudly, "Child! Wake up! I'm your grandmother! What happened to you?" No matter how Cheng Yun called out to him, Lin Ning seemed unable to hear anything from outside; his body went limp as he lost consciousness in an instant. 0

The crowd was horrified; Lady's Sword had pierced through Lin Ning’s heart—an ordinary person would have died instantly from such a wound. Even though Lin Ning was skilled in martial arts, he now lay gasping for breath on the brink of death. Miao Shuyan, Cong Rong, and Liu Mengyuan were all crying helplessly at this sight. Abbot Zenzi said firmly, "Everyone stay back from Hero Lin! Let this old monk check on his injuries." He hurried forward to examine Lin Ning’s wound and saw that it was indeed located near his heart; he furrowed his brow in concern. 0

After hesitating for a moment, he took out Golden Healing Ointment from his robe and swiftly pulled out Lady's Sword with his right hand before placing Golden Healing Ointment over Lin Ning’s chest with his left hand. Lin Ning’s complexion was pale with no reaction whatsoever; he hardly seemed to be breathing. 0

Seeing that Lin Ning was unlikely to survive this injury brought satisfaction to Toyotomi Yoshimi as she nodded approvingly before loudly addressing Hu Chuanmao: "Hu Chuanmao! I’ve taken your daughter away! I’m satisfied now that I have my daughter back! After Yin Zi and I return to Japan, we will never set foot in China again—this is goodbye forever!" 0

Hu Chuanmao replied angrily yet sorrowfully: "Toyotomi Yoshimi! I've returned your daughter to you now; I hope you keep your promise never to step foot on our Chinese soil again! If I see you again..." His voice trailed off as tears streamed down his face. 0

Turning back toward Hu Xueyan he said gently: "Good child... when your father is no longer by your side... take care of yourself..." At this point Hu Chuanmao broke down completely in tears. 0

Toyotomi Yoshimi helped lift the collapsed Hu Xueyan off the ground while Hu Xueyan gazed blankly at both Lin Ning and Hu Chuanmao—perhaps this would be the last time she would see these two men she loved most in her life. Overwhelmed by despair—a mix of unfulfilled love and regret—her emotions were raw and painful. 0

Toyotomi Yoshimi scanned those trying desperately to save Lin Ning with a sinister smile creeping onto her face. Suddenly she tucked the dazed Hu Xueyan under her arm and forcefully pulled on the fuse for the explosives before jumping onto another pirate ship while holding onto Hu Xueyan tightly. 0

Master Chenxu witnessed everything unfold before him and shouted urgently: "Everyone retreat! There are explosives!" The crowd reacted immediately upon hearing Master Chenxu’s warning without thinking twice; Lin Enzhe scooped up unconscious Lin Ning and jumped onto a fishing boat followed closely by everyone else who leaped aboard too. 0

Before anyone could settle on board however an ear-splitting explosion rocked across the sea—the pirate ship erupted into flames sending pirates who hadn’t escaped flying into the air before crashing back into the water amidst debris scattered everywhere including broken wood planks and pirate bodies floating atop waves. 0

The group aboard the fishing boat felt their hearts race amidst smoke filling their surroundings while the boatman paddled fiercely westward away from danger. The remaining pirate ships did not pursue them knowing well how formidable their opponents were armed with black gold daggers which could easily sink their own warships if they attempted an attack. 0

At that moment Qin Lan suddenly jumped from the fishing boat into the sea swimming towards where Toyotomi Yoshimi had fled aboard her pirate ship. Cheng Yun shouted after her: "Xiao Lan! Come back! It’s too dangerous!" However Qin Lan had made up her mind after witnessing what had happened: “Aunt Yun! I cannot let Miss suffer alone in Japan—I must stay by her side!” 0

Amidst wind and rain Qin Lan quickly disappeared from view alongside the pirate ship. 0

The storm battered against their fishing boat while everyone struggled to carry Lin Ning into its cabin where he lay unconscious without color in his face while Miao Shuyan wept beside him continuously along with Cong Rong and Liu Mengyuan who were equally distraught. 0

Abbot Zenzi reached out feeling for Lin Ning’s pulse using his index finger and middle finger before shaking his head slowly indicating grim news ahead. Miao Shuyan cried out desperately: “Why must heaven treat me so cruelly? My eldest son has gone mad; my daughter has married far away in foreign lands... now my youngest son is leaving me too!” Cheng Yun wept openly unable to believe such an outstanding young man raised by herself could leave this world so soon. 0

Pushing through everyone surrounding him gently propping up Lin Ning’s upper body against herself Cheng Yun placed both palms against his back channeling all of her energy into him hoping for recovery while Abbot Zenzi sat cross-legged before them placing both palms against Lin Ning’s chest too—two top martial artists continuously sending their internal energy into him. 0

After some time passed they began noticing wisps of steam rising above their heads indicating progress being made—Lin Ning’s complexion appeared less pale than before while Lin Enzhe placed fingers beneath his nose feeling faint breaths escaping from it bringing hope alive within him once more prompting him immediately into action sitting behind Abbot Zenzi placing both hands against Zenzi’s back transferring energy through him towards Lin Ning. 0

Master Chenxu along with Hu Chuanmao saw what was happening rushing behind both men following suit until five top masters joined forces understanding that whether or not Lin Ning lived depended entirely upon their combined efforts—if there remained even a glimmer of hope they would fight for it relentlessly! 0

After enduring through an entire night spent channeling energy together finally signs emerged showing signs of life returning within Lin Ning—their efforts had not been wasted! 0

As dawn broke after sailing through day after day finally reaching Yunshan Island although still unconscious breathing steadily once more color returned gradually restoring life within him bringing relief among all present who knew they had saved him! 0

Miao Shuyan Cong Rong Liu Mengyuan rejoiced crying tears of joy together knowing they had pulled through against all odds! 0

Fearing that upon waking up seeing sights around Yunshan Island might trigger painful memories everyone agreed unanimously deciding instead transporting him back towards Jinling Enzhe Gang for recuperation where they soon arrived docking swiftly alongside shore lifting him carefully into Purple Bamboo Pavilion where he could rest quietly undisturbed. 0

Abbot Zenzi along with Master Chenxu after confirming that Lin Ning was no longer in critical condition bid farewell departing from them leaving behind heavy hearts filled with sorrowful thoughts reflecting upon recent events endured together during this tumultuous journey ahead. 0

Hu Chuanmao along with Cheng Yun having experienced sudden loss felt utterly devastated wishing desperately returning homeward towards Yunshan Island holding onto faint hopes believing perhaps someday soon they might see their beloved daughter once more again someday soon... 0

After sending off both parents only remaining wish left lingering within hearts belonging solely towards those closest friends wishing nothing more than seeing young master recover swiftly returning once again restored health ready facing future challenges awaiting ahead! 0

Lin Ning now aware fully regarding true origins behind everything transpired thus far harboring deep-seated desires seeking vengeance against those responsible for wrongdoings committed against family members lost forever... 0
