The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Within the dense forest, a century-long battle is about to unfold. Murong Mulong coldly confronts Nightmare Demon to avenge the grievances of the Murong clan, while Nightmare Demon remains unafraid and responds calmly. Murong Mulong's Mogan Sword has already been drawn, and his signature move, Thousand Miles Soul Slaughter, surges forth towards Nightmare Demon with an overwhelming momentum that instills fear in all who witness it. Unfazed, Nightmare Demon counters with the Magic Technique, Shattered Corpse, No Bones Left, causing the surrounding Evil Energy to stir violently and enveloping the area. The two techniques clash for the first time, their power shaking the earth and illuminating the sun and moon, leaving devastation in their wake. Onlookers are left dumbfounded. Both Murong Mulong and Nightmare Demon are pushed back several steps by the force of their clash.
Not wanting to remain passive, Nightmare Demon unleashes another Magic Technique, Waste of Effort, Severing the Veins, which intimidates the heavens; even wild geese fall silent and tigers retract their claws. The attack rushes directly at Murong Mulong. Seeing this momentum, Murong Mulong does not dare to be negligent and executes his renowned move, Wanli Qiangpo, vowing to break through the demonic might. The two ultimate moves collide once more, sweeping away everything within a ten-mile radius. Both combatants suffer injuries as blood spills from their wounds. At this moment, Murong Mulong leaps into the air with his sword and launches a rapid close-range assault on Nightmare Demon; his swift strikes leave no room for respite. Nightmare Demon responds with bare hands but finds himself in a precarious position. Realizing he has gained the upper hand, Murong Mulong increases his speed, determined to annihilate his foe in one fell swoop.
Nightmare Demon understands that if this continues, defeat is inevitable. He steels himself and decides that he would rather be shattered than yield; disregarding Murong Mulong's swift sword strikes, he channels his ultimate move, God Slaughtering Path Destruction. At this moment, Nightmare Demon is already riddled with wounds but remains oblivious to pain as he fights on. Murong Mulong immediately halts his rapid attacks and soars into the air to unleash his unparalleled sword technique, Eternal Breakthrough. As this technique is executed, it condenses into an unstoppable force that crashes downwards. The two extreme moves collide in a cataclysmic clash that sends shockwaves through rivers and mountains. Both are injured by the overwhelming energy released from their confrontation; Nightmare Demon suffers even more grievous wounds.
Refusing to accept defeat so easily, Nightmare Demon endures his injuries and channels his inner strength into the Magic Technique, Pierce the Brain, Absorb the Marrow, aiming to finish off Murong Mulong in one decisive blow. Injured Murong Mulong cannot afford to sit idly by; he unleashes his ultimate move, Sword Moves Across the Ground, No One Can Match It. Thousands of fierce sword energies weave together like a torrential rainstorm aimed directly at Nightmare Demon's Magic Technique. In an instant, a thunderous explosion erupts as both fighters are sent flying dozens of feet away.
Nightmare Demon lies gravely wounded and on the brink of death when he utters: "You truly are a worthy opponent." He then collapses into the earth as his body vanishes from sight. The martial world is merciless; killing begets killing—a rule that many Heroic Figures find insurmountable. All that remains of the demon is a handful of dust; this scene evokes deep sorrow.
Murong Mulong is also severely injured and unable to stand; kneeling on the ground he says: "You were indeed my strongest opponent."
At the spot where Nightmare Demon's body disappeared, a righteous figure appears before Murong Mulong. The Daoist speaks: "Murong Mulong, should I kill you to avenge Nightmare Demon?"
Murong Mulong replies: "Then come at me; however, I will not go down without a fight." He attempts to rise and prepare for battle but finds himself too weak to stand and collapses again.
Seeing the Daoist suddenly appear without understanding why, Daoyan Dian asks: "What does Demonic Path Nightmare have to do with you?"
The Daoist responds: "I am Daoist Long's Demise—Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism. Daoyan Dian, please take the injured Murong Mulong back to Tongfu Inn; I have matters to attend to." With that said, Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism vanishes like a shadow.
Daoyan Dian carries the unconscious Murong Mulong towards Tongfu Inn.
In another part of the wilderness battlefield, Time Master faces Infernal Sovereign Yan Yin Si. Both are familiar adversaries who share an unwavering resolve not to spare each other’s lives; both are fortunate survivors under Magic Techniques; both are leaders of their respective clans or organizations. Their similarities foster a sense of mutual respect.
Time Master initiates the battle with a powerful strike aimed at Infernal Sovereign Yan Yin Si. Yan Yin Si moves gracefully and effortlessly counters Time Master's attacks with ease. Time Master fights while strategizing, intending to lure Yan Yin Si into exposing an opening. Yan Yin Si remains calm and collected, countering each attack without haste or worry as if victory were assured.
Seeing this situation unfold, Time Master unleashes his signature move Waves of Turmoil; instantly mist fills the surroundings with surging energy. Yan Yin Si does not back down either and counters with his ultimate technique Universal Strike—both techniques collide once more as torrents of energy sweep through clouds of dust and uproot trees; both fighters are pushed back by the force.
Just as both are about to unleash their ultimate techniques again, a figure descends from above. Upon seeing this newcomer, both fighters are taken aback; Time Master exclaims: "Dao Rulai."
Infernal Sovereign Yan Yin Si: "Nightmare Demon."
Daoist said: "No, I am Daoist Long's Demise · Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism. Now that external enemies have invaded, you are still fighting among yourselves. Is this not a move that brings joy to the enemies while causing pain to your own?"
Infernal Sovereign Yan Yin Si replied: "I am from the Black Tribe. You in the Martial Arts Community cannot tolerate us, so why should I fight against the Eastern Army for you?"
