The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Within the Martial Bamboo Divine Domain, Yi Junsheng was asked whether he had killed Eastern Dragon. Yi Junsheng replied, "Oh, wise one, how could someone with my lowly martial skills possibly kill the formidable Eastern Dragon?"
Eastern Proud Dragon said, "I have come here today solely to uncover the truth and have no intention of seeking revenge." After saying this, Eastern Proud Dragon performed an astonishing act by kneeling down, crying uncontrollably, and crawling towards Yi Junsheng, clutching his clothes. "I just want to know how my brother died and where his body is. I cannot bear to think of him lying dead in the wilderness. I beg you, please tell me the truth. I know you were the last person to see my brother at Murong Manor. I implore you." He then wept bitterly, tears streaming down his face.
Yi Junsheng hesitated and said, "Please stop crying; it pains me to see you in tears. If you stop crying, I will tell you what I know."
Eastern Proud Dragon ceased his weeping but remained on his knees, still holding onto Yi Junsheng's clothing.
Yi Junsheng continued, "Your brother was a murderous demon who repeatedly harmed me. In the end, I hired assassins from the Black Design Society to take care of him; there was nothing left of him."
At that moment, an unexpected palm strike hit Yi Junsheng, causing him to spit blood and suffer severe injury. Eastern Proud Dragon stood up and declared, "So it was you, White Face, who plotted against my brother. Today, I will kill you to avenge him."
Yi Junsheng retorted, "Damn Tall Guy, you actually resorted to this trick to elicit the truth from me."
Eastern Proud Dragon replied, "With someone like you, there is no other way to deal with it; accept your fate." He then swung his Great Axe towards Yi Junsheng.
Just as things looked dire, Murong Yaoxian rushed in with a sword to save Yi Junsheng from danger. Murong Yaoxian launched a rapid attack against Eastern Proud Dragon, who defended with his axe. Due to their disparity in strength, after several exchanges, Murong Yaoxian found himself at a disadvantage and in a precarious situation. Eastern Proud Dragon's target was Yi Junsheng; after injuring Murong Yaoxian and knocking him to the ground, he approached Yi Junsheng with the intent to finish him off with a single blow. At this moment, Yi Junsheng had no strength left to fight back and could only await his fate. Just when it seemed hopeless, a verse rang out:
"Buddha and Demon Cultivation Together is the Way,
Half Literary, Half Martial, Truly Extraordinary.
Countless Strategies Within,
Supreme Leader of the Martial World, Ren Xiaoyao."
Ming Lang Qian Kun and Yi Zhangzhi arrived back at Martial Bamboo Divine Domain just in time and exclaimed, "Who dares to commit such bold acts within Martial Bamboo Divine Domain?" They then unleashed a powerful palm strike towards Eastern Proud Dragon. Although Eastern Proud Dragon attempted to block with his axe, he was still sent flying out of Martial Bamboo Divine Domain by the overwhelming force and spat out crimson blood. Yi Junsheng said, "A Piece of Paper! Thankfully you returned in time; otherwise, next year you'd be paying respects at my grave. Quickly take care of this damn Tall Guy; he dared to deceive my feelings."
Outside, injured Eastern Proud Dragon said, "Yi Zhangzhi! You protect a murderer; I will not let this go easily. I will report you all to the Martial Arts Tribunal." He then departed.
Yi Zhangzhi helped Yi Junsheng up and treated his injuries, saying, "The injuries are not serious; with some rest, you'll be fine. Why did you have a conflict with that person?"
Yi Zhangzhi helped Murong Yaoxian up and treated her wounds while Yi Junsheng explained the situation to Yi Zhangzhi.
Yi Zhangzhi said to Yi Junsheng, "This is troublesome. If that Eastern Proud Dragon goes to the Judicial Court to report you, Bao Qing will definitely come to summon you for questioning. You've gotten yourself into trouble."
Yi Junsheng laughed heartily and said, "What do I have to fear? I have you backing me up! As long as you teach me that move, Shattered Corpse, No Bones Left, I won't be afraid of anything."
Yi Zhangzhi replied, "Shattered Corpse, No Bones Left is not something just anyone can learn. If you're not careful, you could easily fall into madness."
Yi Junsheng said, "Is it that serious? Then I won't learn it after all."
Yi Zhangzhi continued, "If Bao Qing summons you for questioning, just deny everything. They won't dare do anything without evidence. The testimony from Eastern Proud Dragon is just his word against yours; it’s not enough to convict you."
Yi Junsheng said, "Right! When the time comes, I'll just deny it completely and see what they do. Haha!"
Yi Zhangzhi turned to Murong Yaoxian and asked, "Are you alright, miss?"
Murong Yaoxian replied, "I'm fine; it's just a minor injury."
Yi Zhangzhi said, "I've already started handling your brother's matter; you don't need to worry."
Murong Yaoxian responded, "Thank you very much." With few words and little contact, Murong Yaoxian gradually developed feelings for this extraordinary and elegant Yi Zhangzhi who was warm-hearted and heroic.
In the wilderness, Sword Demon Tiedan faced off against Ben Aoxiang and Wang Chao. Sword Demon Tiedan was filled with hatred towards them and intended to kill them quickly. The Dragon Spring Sword was drawn, shining brightly. Ben Aoxiang and Wang Chao also drew their swords to prevent the evil from running rampant; they were determined to subdue the madman before them. Sword Demon Tiedan swung his sword in an attack that gathered air currents from all directions, striking at Ben Aoxiang and Wang Chao. Ben Aoxiang executed a swift strike with his sword while Wang Chao pointed his sword at the sky; a cross-shaped sword energy formed instantly. The two attacks simultaneously countered Sword Demon Tiedan's move; however, Sword Demon Tiedan was indeed one of the Five Great Swordsmen of the Martial World and possessed superior strength. His attack broke through Ben Aoxiang and Wang Chao's combined efforts, sending them both flying back several dozen feet while spitting blood from their injuries. At that moment, Iron-Faced Impartial - Bao Qing descended swiftly and struck out with a palm towards Sword Demon Tiedan, rescuing Wang Chao and Ben Aoxiang. Sword Demon Tiedan blocked Bao Qing's palm but soon realized the others had been saved and said, "Iron-Faced Impartial, your timing is impeccable!"
The Taoist Sect received news about Yi Zhangzhi practicing Demonic Arts and immediately convened an emergency meeting. The sect leader Daoist Master Taiyi was present along with senior members Void Daoist, Xumi Daoist, Xu Li Daoist, administrative head Xuanji Zi, and discipline head Yan Jizi among others. Taiyi Daoist spoke first: "Fellow Daoists, how do we view Yi Zhangzhi practicing Demonic Arts?"
Yan Jizi replied, "As a member of the Taoist Sect, Yi Zhangzhi practicing such evil arts violates our sect rules. He should have his martial arts abolished and be expelled from the Taoist Sect."
Xuanji Zi said, "This matter is still unclear and should not be dealt with hastily."
Void Daoist replied, "Yes, it is possible that someone is trying to sow discord among us, targeting Yi Zhangzhi, so they can profit from it; we must not fall into their trap."
Xumi Daoist stated, "The truth is complicated; let us invite Yi Zhangzhi for questioning to find out."
Yan Jizi remarked, "If he comes and speaks ambiguously, putting on an act and refusing to admit anything, what shall we do then?"
Xu Li Daoist responded, "From what I know, Yi Zhangzhi is not that kind of person."
Taiyi Daoist said, "Then let us invite Yi Zhangzhi for questioning and see how he explains himself. Let Yan Jizi, the one in charge of the Dao rules, lead two disciples to invite Yi Zhangzhi here."
Yan Jizi answered, "I will carry out the order." He then led the new disciples of the Taoist Sect to ask, "Where is the Dao?" along with Xian Daoqi, heading towards the Martial Bamboo Divine Domain.
Bao Qing rescued Ben Aoxiang and Wang Chao back to the Judicial Court. Bao Qing said to Ben Aoxiang, "Brave warrior, as you have seen, Sword Demon Tiedan has exceptional swordsmanship; it is difficult for an ordinary person to capture him. Therefore, please inform the leader of the martial arts alliance that only Duanmu Alliance Leader can personally intervene this time; otherwise, it will be hard to stop Sword Demon Tiedan from continuing his evil deeds."
Ben Aoxiang replied, "I understand. I will report this matter to the leader. I will take my leave now."
Bao Qingyun said, "Safe travels."
At this moment, Giant Eastern Proud Dragon arrived at the Judicial Court. Bao Qing asked, "Brave warrior, what brings you to the Judicial Court?"
Eastern Proud Dragon replied, "What else would I come here for? Of course, I am here to file a complaint."
Bao Qing inquired, "Who do you wish to accuse?"
Eastern Proud Dragon responded, "Yi Junsheng and Yi Zhangzhi. Yi Junsheng hired someone to murder my brother, and Yi Zhangzhi, with his strong martial skills, protected Yi Junsheng."
Bao Qingyan asked, "Do you have evidence that Yi Junsheng hired someone to commit murder?"
Eastern Proud Dragon said, "Of course, besides, Yi Junsheng has personally admitted to hiring someone to commit murder. The evidence is conclusive, and it only awaits the culprit's punishment."
Bao Qing replied, "In that case, this court will accept the case. Where is Yi Junsheng now?"
Eastern Proud Dragon answered, "In Martial Bamboo Divine Domain."
Bao Qing then ordered Wang Chao to go to Martial Bamboo Divine Domain to apprehend Yi Junsheng.
From the Taoist Sect, Yan Jizi and Xian Daoqi arrived at Martial Bamboo Divine Domain. Upon seeing his fellow Daoists, Yi Zhangzhi was overjoyed and said, "Fellow Daoists, it has been a long time since we last met. How have you all been recently?"
Yan Jizi replied impatiently, "We are naturally well, but it seems you have brought trouble upon yourself, Yi Zhangzhi."
Confused, Yi Zhangzhi asked, "Fellow Daoist, what do you mean by that?"
Yan Jizi said, "What a hypocritical Yi Zhangzhi. Even now, you still pretend to be innocent. Everyone in the martial world knows about your practice of Demonic Arts. You have completely lost face for our Taoist Sect. We are here today on the orders of Daoist Master Daoqu, asking you to return to the sect and explain this matter."
Upon hearing this, Yi Zhangzhi realized that this was instigated by Duanmu Chong, and said, "Alright, I will go back with you."
Yan Jizi responded, "You really know how to be agreeable, but that does not change the fact that you practiced Demonic Arts. Let's go."
