The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Inside the Ming Kong Residence, Qiu Yuxia was practicing martial arts, her mind consumed by madness as she relentlessly attacked Huangfu Mingmo. Each sword strike and movement left no room for mercy, and her palm strikes offered him no chance to catch his breath. After unleashing several sword energies, Qiu Yuxia leaped close to Huangfu Mingmo for a close-range attack. After blocking her incoming sword energy, Huangfu Mingmo found himself exhausted from defense. Qiu Yuxia pressed forward, determined to eliminate the obstacle before her. Huangfu Mingmo was caught in a precarious situation, battling with danger lurking at every turn. In her madness, Qiu Yuxia's consciousness was chaotic; she perceived Huangfu Mingmo as her greatest enemy and was intent on eliminating him swiftly. Her sharp gaze, fearsome laughter, powerful palm strikes, and domineering sword energy defined the Qiu Yuxia after succumbing to madness.
Huangfu Mingmo did not want his dear friend to continue in this frenzy and resolved to use his signature move, One Sword to Level the Field, intending to win with a single strike and subdue Qiu Yuxia. However, Qiu Yuxia would not allow him such audacity; she swung her sword and unleashed her renowned technique, Sword Rising to the Wind and Clouds. The grand clash of their sword energies resonated powerfully, shaking the heavens and intimidating all around. With Huangfu Mingmo's inner strength diminished, his sword technique faltered, and he was sent flying out of the Ming Kong Residence. Just as Qiu Yuxia intended to strike again to end Huangfu Mingmo's life, her internal energy surged chaotically, causing her immense pain; she could not even hold onto her sword anymore. With a loud clang, the sword fell to the ground. Qiu Yuxia's expression tightened with furrowed brows and tense muscles, indicating her suffering. At that moment, she leaped away from the Ming Kong Residence towards Qingming River. Seeing this, Huangfu Mingmo disregarded his own injuries and hurried after her.
In the wilderness, Yi Junsheng intended to curse Eastern Proud Dragon but was preempted by Reverse Head, who attacked Eastern Proud Dragon in a fit of vengeance for a friend. Liu Hai immediately drew out a chopping knife and angrily struck at Yi Junsheng as soon as the battle commenced. Yi Junsheng exclaimed, "What a waste! I spared you last time; you ungrateful woodcutter! Now you repay kindness with enmity; it's truly infuriating!"
Liu Hai's anger intensified upon hearing this; he aimed each strike at Yi Junsheng's vital points with lethal intent. Yi Junsheng refused to back down and wielded giant scissors to block Liu Hai's deadly knife strikes. The two battled fiercely amidst silence in the surroundings; even the trees seemed affected. Reverse Head faced off against Eastern Proud Dragon—one fought for a friend's revenge without holding back; the other fought for a brother's revenge with no room for compromise. Reverse Head unleashed all he had learned while Eastern Proud Dragon displayed all his skills as they engaged in a fierce battle of vengeance. Reverse Head launched several palm energies towards Eastern Proud Dragon before leaping into the air; his palms stirred up wind and clouds as they aimed directly at Eastern Proud Dragon to take down his enemy. Eastern Proud Dragon swung his Great Axe to block the lethal palm energy but was still pushed back several steps by its force. At that moment, the one who had struck was none other than Hate Blade Swordsman, who had just escaped from Drunken Red Mansion.
Eastern Proud Dragon asked, "Who are you? Why do you interfere in our feud?"
Seeing that it was Hate Blade Swordsman who had arrived, Yi Junsheng said, "Oh! It's you, Red-Green Swordsman! What brings you here?"
Before Hate Blade Swordsman could respond, Eastern Proud Dragon's fury erupted as he swung his axe towards him. Liu Hai saw the battle reignite and continued attacking Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head; thus forming a three-on-two situation in the fight. Although Eastern Proud Dragon possessed immense strength, he found himself unable to counter such fierce sword energy; lacking inner strength led him to be pushed back once more by the force of the attack which cut into his right shoulder causing blood to flow freely. Meanwhile, Liu Hai struggled against Reverse Head alone and found himself at a disadvantage.
Despite being injured, Eastern Proud Dragon's heightened fighting spirit kept him standing firm; he raised his axe again to fiercely attack Hate Blade Swordsman. Hate Blade Swordsman grew impatient and retaliated with quick strikes; Eastern Proud Dragon could not evade in time and became riddled with wounds—his body battered and bleeding profusely—his life hanging by a thread. Hate Blade Swordsman unleashed his deadly move—One Sword to Avenge—sending forth an overwhelming force aimed at Eastern Proud Dragon with intent to resolve matters swiftly. Just when Eastern Proud Dragon faced imminent death, Lumberjack Liu Hai made a selfless act; he stepped forward to block the attack—the sword energy pierced through him instantly causing him to spit out blood profusely. In that moment before Liu Hai lost consciousness, he uttered his last words: "Eastern Proud Dragon! Run! Remember to avenge me."
Seeing his ally fall into dust brought immense sorrow to Eastern Proud Dragon; reluctantly he realized that only by preserving himself could he have a chance for revenge. He leaped away from the scene while Reverse Head pursued him furiously for revenge yet again. Yi Junsheng followed suit without hesitation as they both chased after them.
Celibacy Master confronted Duanmu Chong once again to prevent him from continuing to wreak havoc in the martial world. There were few words exchanged, only the determination to eliminate evil and uphold justice. Celibacy Master took the initiative, unleashing the Buddhist Supreme Techniques · Swastika Seal, sending several swastika-shaped energy waves towards Duanmu Chong. Although Duanmu Chong had lost thirty percent of his Inner Strength, he was more than capable of dealing with Celibacy Master. His signature move, Galactic Destruction, was executed gracefully, and when their techniques clashed, the energy swept in all directions, its might intimidating the seas. At that moment, a hand suddenly descended from above, blocking Duanmu Chong's lethal strike. The person who intervened was none other than Ming Lang Qian Kun · Yi Zhangzhi. Suddenly, a young dandy jumped into the river without hesitation, aiming to perform a heroic rescue and win her heart. As he swam toward Qiu Yuxia, disaster struck; several crocodiles spotted their prey and quickly swam toward him. Moments later, the crocodiles feasted on him, leaving him dead while also losing his life in vain—a sight that drew gasps from onlookers. Before anyone could mourn for the deceased youth, another person jumped into the river with intentions of swimming toward Qiu Yuxia. The crowd onshore debated about this individual who would risk his life for a woman; some remarked, "The lessons from past tragedies are clear; it seems that the allure of beauty can easily overshadow caution." Others commented, "Is there really such a foolish person in this world? Hahaha!"
Having heard enough of the chatter from those onshore, Huangfu Mingmo also jumped into the river and swam toward Qiu Yuxia. The second person who leaped into the water with intentions of heroically saving her was none other than Romantic Talent, Jia Baoyu.
