The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World

After driving away the Half-Leopard Man, Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head headed towards the direction of the Black Design Society. At this moment, Eastern Proud Dragon and Half-Leopard Man lay in wait halfway. The four exchanged extreme glances, and Eastern Proud Dragon said, "White Face, isn't it our turn to deal with you now? Prepare to die!" With that, he charged at Yi Junsheng with his Great Axe. In a panic, Yi Junsheng could only draw out scissors and wildly counter against Eastern Proud Dragon, while Reverse Head, fighting alone against the clawless Half-Leopard Man, had no trouble at all. Injured in multiple places by Eastern Proud Dragon, Yi Junsheng shouted loudly, "Reverse Head, hurry and save me! Otherwise, I'm going to die at the hands of this damn Tall Guy!"
Although Reverse Head was handling the fight with the Half-Leopard Man skillfully, he had no time to spare and could only aim for a quick resolution. The situation for Yi Junsheng was dire; his backside had been cut by the Great Axe, bleeding profusely and causing him unbearable pain. Just as he was in a critical moment, a verse echoed through the scene: "The wind rustles coldly at Yi River; a brave man departs but may return." The first assassin of the Black Design Society, Jing Ke, approached slowly and stated, "Today, only one person will fall here." He then revealed his dagger and swiftly lunged at Eastern Proud Dragon's heart without blinking. Aware of the speed of assassins from the Black Design Society, Eastern Proud Dragon had prepared himself; although he couldn't dodge this lethal strike entirely, he had already placed a copper mirror over his heart. The dagger of Jing Ke could not penetrate, leaving him astonished. However, refusing to kill in front of him would not deter Jing Ke, who then shifted his attack towards Eastern Proud Dragon's neck.
In a desperate struggle, Eastern Proud Dragon swung his axe against Jing Ke, but due to their vast difference in strength, he suffered multiple stab wounds from the dagger. Seeing that Eastern Proud Dragon was in danger, the Half-Leopard Man leaped forward to attack Jing Ke. Meanwhile, both Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head turned their attention back to the injured Eastern Proud Dragon. At this moment, behind Jing Ke, a long sword was drawn swiftly, unleashing a wave of sword energy aimed directly at the vital point of Eastern Proud Dragon. Fearing for his ally's safety and knowing that if anything happened to him, he too would not escape unscathed from the wrath of the Half-Dragon, he stepped up to block this fatal blow. With a tragic scream, the Half-Leopard Man was severed in two, his soul returning to the nine springs. After killing the Half-Leopard Man, Jing Ke sheathed his sword and walked towards the direction of the Black Design Society. Seeing his ally's tragic demise, Eastern Proud Dragon feigned several moves before fleeing from the scene. Not pursuing further due to his speed advantage, Yi Junsheng instead caught up with Jing Ke, asking, "The one we want dead is that damn tall guy, not that leopard. Why did you stop?"
Jing Ke replied, "I have already moved on; today only one person will fall. Now that the life of the Half-Leopard Man has been taken instead of that of Eastern Proud Dragon, my mission can be considered complete. If you have any objections, please discuss them with the High President at the Black Design Society. I take my leave."
Fuming with anger, Yi Junsheng exclaimed: "What a great one you are, Jing Ke! What a fine example of a money-grabbing assassin from the Black Design Society! My forty thousand taels were only enough to buy that monster's life! This is unacceptable! I must go find that High President at the Black Design Society for an explanation! Reverse Head, let's go." Thus, both men headed towards the direction of the Black Design Society.
After suffering severe injuries during an ambush against Duanmu Chong 's forces, Shu Heng staggered into the Dreaming Medical Pavilion . Upon seeing her condition, Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances immediately assisted her inside for treatment by Divine Doctor . Moments later, Zhang Chongqing had treated Shu Heng 's external wounds; however, her internal organs were severely damaged as well. Zhang Chongqing stated: "This young lady needs long-term care; otherwise her life may be at risk."
Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances added: "Indeed! You cannot perish like this before avenging your great grievance! Rest well; once you recover from your injuries, it won't be too late to seek revenge on Duanmu Chong ." Heavily wounded, Shu Heng could only rest temporarily.
After escaping death, Eastern Proud Dragon returned to the base of the Half-Orc known as Beast Den and informed Half-Dragon about how Half-Leopard Man met his demise at the hands of assassin Jing Ke from the Black Design Society . Upon hearing this news, Half-Dragon became furious: "That despicable Jing Ke! How dare he kill one of my kin? I will tear him apart!" At this moment, Half-Werewolf brought in another individual filled with hatred—the traitor from Poetry Sect known as Azure Lotus Cold Scholar Li Taibai . Moved by Li Taibai ’s desperate pleas for help, Half-Werewolf brought him before their leader Half-Dragon .
Half-Dragon asked: "Who are you? What brings you here?"
Li Taibai replied, "I am Azure Lotus Cold Scholar Li Taibai, formerly a disciple of the Central Plains Poetry Sect. Later, due to the current sect leader Du Fu's underhanded tactics to seize my position, I was expelled from the Poetry Sect. I have come here today to join you Half-Orcs; please help me take revenge and eliminate the treacherous Du Fu."
The Half-Dragon said, "Very well, I accept your request. Our Half-Orc dominance will begin with the destruction of the Poetry Sect. Everyone prepare to set off, led by Half-Tiger Man. Our first stop in the Central Plains will be the Poetry Sect. Li Taibai and Eastern Proud Dragon, you two will go together. As for Duanmu Chong and his disciple, they are injured and cannot accompany us." With that, Half-Tiger Man led the vast Half-Beast Army toward the Poetry Sect.
Sword Demon Tiedan walked through the Dense Forest Path when suddenly, a verse echoed: "A thousand years of spring, ten thousand years of autumn, where does the peak remain? Striving upward, when will it cease? Looking back at the winds and clouds." The imposing figure of Sword Saint Murong Mulong descended upon the scene. Murong Mulong said, "Sword Demon Tiedan, I spared your life last time; you have not repented. Today I have come to reclaim the life I granted you."
Outside the Poetry Sect, the Half-Beast Army arrived and surrounded the area tightly. Poet Sect Leader Du Fu led his disciples out and upon seeing those surrounding them, including Li Taibai, he exclaimed, "It is you, the unrepentant traitor Li Taibai! You dare to collude with foreign monsters to besiege the Poetry Sect; you are truly wicked, even worse than beasts."
Li Taibai retorted, "Treacherous Du Fu, why don't you remove your false mask? Even at death's door, you still spew venomous words. Today is your end."
In the Dense Forest Path, Sword Demon Tiedan faced off against Sword Saint Murong Mulong. Can Sword Demon Tiedan escape the fate of a second defeat? The Half-Orcs have officially entered the Central Plains; what fate awaits the Poetry Sect? Will Du Fu perish in this siege?
