The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Within the Martial Arts Tribunal, Bao Qing presided over the case of Surveillance Motive, with all members of the Judicial Court present to observe. Surveillance Motive knew he was doomed, and whether he spoke the truth or not, survival was impossible. Surveillance Motive said, "Chief Justice Bao, I never expected to live once I fell into your hands. What you should do now is kill me with a single sword strike, rather than put me on trial here."

This is your chance to atone for your sins; if you clearly explain how you rescued Sword Demon Tiedan, I guarantee your life will be spared."
Hearing Bao Qing's words, Surveillance Motive wavered and pondered for a moment, weighing his options. Just as he was about to reveal the truth, a thin silver needle suddenly shot towards his head. Caught off guard, the needle pierced through Surveillance Motive's head and struck the pillar in the hall, killing him instantly. Before he could utter a word, he was silenced by an insider. At this moment, everyone was astonished to see Surveillance Motive lying on the ground. Bao Qing decisively ordered, "Seal off this place immediately; no one is allowed to enter or exit." The members of the Judicial Court then guarded all entrances and exits.
Bao Qing approached Surveillance Motive's body and examined it closely, discovering the fatal needle wound in his head. He pulled out the silver needle from the nearby pillar and remarked, "This silver needle took Surveillance Motive's life, and I am certain that the murderer is among those present." Bao Qing thought: Based on the position of the needle, it must have been shot from the left side. Standing on that side were four individuals: Wang Chao, Ma Han, Zhang Long, and Zhao Hu. The murderer must be one of them, and this person is very likely the insider who helped Sword Demon Tiedan escape.
Faced with the possibility that one of his four elite guards was the murderer, Bao Qing felt an immense shock and sorrow. However, it was most important to find out who the killer was. Bao Qing began questioning Wang Chao and the other three about whether they had noticed anything unusual around them at that time; however, they all provided identical answers—none had seen anything out of the ordinary or noticed any suspicious movements. Bao Qing carefully observed all four to see if they were using their internal energy but found no signs of it being used. This made Bao Qing feel increasingly perplexed.
At this moment, Huangfu Mingmo returned to the Judicial Court. After understanding what had transpired, Huangfu Mingmo approached the four elite guards and began examining their internal energies. Just as Huangfu Mingmo intended to identify any abnormalities among them, a sudden palm strike came towards him. The Sword God was extremely perceptive and quickly dodged. The attacker turned out to be Wang Chao; without waiting for any words, Wang Chao unleashed another attack using Sword Demon Tiedan's signature move—Magic Sword Devours Evil—immediately enveloping the area in Evil Energy as thousands of sword energies erupted from Wang Chao's hands toward everyone in the Judicial Court. Huangfu Mingmo swung his Dragon Spring Sword to coldly break through Wang Chao's attack. After neutralizing the sword energies, Wang Chao fled the scene. Everyone was shocked to discover that Wang Chao was the murderer. Bao Qing said, "No wonder I asked Wang Chao to investigate the insider matter but received no progress; it turns out he is that insider. I wonder what Mr. Huangfu discovered just now that caused Wang Chao to expose himself?"
Huangfu Mingmo replied, "Chief Justice Bao, you underestimated Wang Chao's martial skills; his level is not below mine, so he could easily evade your scrutiny. I sensed a surge of internal energy within him slowly receding; when he prepared to unleash it, he attacked instead. If we let him escape now, it could lead to endless troubles. I suggest we immediately issue a warrant for his capture to prevent him from causing further harm."
Bao Qing spoke solemnly: "Alright everyone, listen up! Immediately search for traitor Wang Chao throughout the martial world; we must capture him alive or dead."
Zhan Zhao added: "I will also join in capturing this criminal since Wang Chao's martial skills are extraordinary." Thus everyone set off in search of Wang Chao.
In a dense forest beside Western Mountain Path, Yi Junsheng and his companions were desperately searching for traces of a giant python when suddenly an astonishing scene appeared before them: a petrified giant python sprang up from underground. The entire python had turned to stone; even more incredible was that this stone python could still move freely. Yi Junsheng observed its massive tail and exclaimed: "This snake is as large as that one which swallowed that Zombie; could it be the same one? If so, how did it turn into stone?"
Sun Simiao disregarded everything else and took out incense to sprinkle on the Stone Python in an attempt to stun it and rescue Yamada Koji. However, it seemed that Stone Python sensed something amiss; its heavy body swept around rapidly creating a gust of wind that blew towards Sun Simiao. The incense was immediately blown back by this strong wind towards Sun Simiao and his companions. Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head were caught off guard and inhaled a large amount of incense before instantly fainting. Sun Simiao had prepared beforehand; he quickly consumed an antidote which neutralized the effects of the incense. At this moment, Stone Python burrowed back underground and vanished from Sun Simiao's sight. Sun Simiao administered antidotes to Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head; after a while they regained consciousness. Seeing that Stone Python was no longer present, Yi Junsheng asked: "Medicine King Sun Simiao, have you already dealt with that snake? What about your Zombie?"
Sun Simiao replied: "This Stone Python is quite difficult to handle; I think we need to lure it out."
Yi Junsheng asked: "How do we lure it out?"
Sun Simiao answered: "It's simple; we just need someone to stand at its den entrance; once it senses prey nearby, it will naturally come out."
Yi Junsheng said, "What you are doing is undoubtedly suicide. Who would be foolish enough to stand at the entrance waiting for a snake to come and eat them?"
Sun Simiao replied, "For my Yamada Koji, I will go to the entrance to lure this snake out. You two hurry and prepare the explosives. When the time comes, we will detonate the explosives to blow this snake apart, and my Yamada Koji will be saved."
Yi Junsheng responded, "Since you are determined, I won't just stand by and do nothing. Alright, Reverse Head and I will go prepare the explosives now. You wait here for us to return." With that, Yi Junsheng and his companion left the dense forest.
Inside the Dreaming Medical Pavilion, the Divine Doctor was performing surgery on the severely injured Mengzi. Mengzi had multiple wounds that were gaping and bleeding profusely. After treating the wounds, Zhang Chongqing began stitching them up. Each stitch not only pierced Mengzi's skin but also his heart. Every stitch represented Mengzi's endless regret, annoyance, and sorrow; all of it transformed into hatred for the Half-Orc and Half-Insect Man. In his heart, Mengzi silently vowed: if in this life he could not destroy the Half-Orc and Half-Insect Man, he would feel unworthy before the souls of the dead and would never live as a human again.
Half an hour later, Zhang Chongqing finally finished treating all of Mengzi's wounds. He stepped out of the operating room and said to Zhu Yingtai, "I have treated all of Mengzi's external injuries, but he has severe internal injuries that require proper rest. As long as we regularly supply him with true energy every day, he will improve. You can take him back now."
Zhu Yingtai bowed respectfully to Zhang Chongqing, saying, "Thank you for your treatment, Divine Doctor. We shall take our leave now." With that, Zhu Yingtai and others took Mengzi towards the Confucius Academy.
At this moment, many injured members of the Martial Arts Community, who had been wounded in the battle at Western Mountain Path, arrived at the Dreaming Medical Pavilion seeking treatment. Among them, Zhuge Kongming and Hua Mulan were the most severely injured. Zhang Chongqing treated each patient one by one and asked, "What happened? Why are there so many injuries?"

Hua Mulan retorted, "As long as I die for a worthy cause, I have no regrets."
On top of Insect Peak, the Half Locust Man and Half-Dragon were discussing plans regarding the martial world. At that moment, the angry Half-Fly Man arrived and questioned Half-Dragon, saying, "Beast King Half-Dragon, how do you explain that a noble's Half Lion Man actually killed our clan's Half Bee Man? What will you do about this?"
Half-Dragon: "I deeply regret this matter, but at that time, Half Bee Man was taken hostage by the Martial Arts Community, and Half Lion Man inevitably made mistakes during the chaos; this was purely an accident."
Half-Fly Man disagreed with Half-Dragon: "I think Half Lion Man did it on purpose."

After some thought, Half Locust Man said: "Beast King is right. We will immediately mobilize our forces to jointly besiege Smoke and Rain, Absolute Flower, Eighteen Floors." Thus, the Half-Beast Army and the Half-Insect Army marched towards Smoke and Rain, Absolute Flower, Eighteen Floors.
Leaving the dense forest beside Western Mountain Path, Yi Junsheng and another person bought a scoop of gunpowder at the market. The two took turns carrying the gunpowder back to the dense forest of Western Mountain Path, preparing to blow up the Stone Python to rescue Yamada Koji for Sun Simiao. Reverse Head asked in confusion: "Yi Junsheng, weren't you harmed greatly by that Zombie, Yamada Koji? Why are we so eager to help Sun Simiao rescue that harmful Zombie now?"
Yi Junsheng replied: "You don't understand, do you? That Zombie only listens to Medicine King Sun Simiao.
