The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Mengzi arrived at the Half-Orc's base, Beast Den, and found the same result as Zhuge Kongming and others from the Martial Arts Community: it was deserted. Unable to find any trace of the Half-Orc, Mengzi became very angry. After collapsing Beast Den with a single palm strike, he prepared to leave when Liang Shanbo and others arrived. Mengzi's frenzied demeanor and fierce expression, filled with rage, left Liang Shanbo and the others momentarily stunned. Mengzi asked, "Liang Shanbo, why are you here?"
Liang Shanbo replied, "We noticed something was off with you at Confucius Academy and hurriedly followed you. Are you here to seek revenge on the Half-Orc?"
Mengzi responded, "The Half-Orc killed my disciple and severely injured me. Now that I have recovered from my injuries, I am indeed looking for the Half-Orc to take revenge. Since the Half-Orc is not here, let us leave." With that, Mengzi quickly departed, while Liang Shanbo and the others could only follow behind, fearing that Mengzi might do something astonishing again.
Yi Zhangzhi brought the petrified Spirit Python back to the Martial Bamboo Divine Domain and placed it in the room where Yi Junsheng stored gold and silver treasures, then locked the door. Yi Zhangzhi said, "This matter is temporarily settled. We will deal with it after Sun Simiao obtains the Eternal Ice of the Blazing Sun. Now it's time to visit Mengzi at Confucius Academy." With that, Yi Zhangzhi left the Martial Bamboo Divine Domain.
Not long after Yi Zhangzhi left, Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head returned to this place. Reverse Head asked, "What are you doing back here?"
Yi Junsheng replied, "I ran out of Silver Coins, so of course I came back to get some money." He then walked toward the room where gold and silver treasures were kept. As he opened the door, a giant python lunged at him. Yi Junsheng panicked and immediately fled outside. The giant python chased after him at incredible speed, catching up to Yi Junsheng and biting down on his head, preparing to swallow him whole. Meanwhile, Yi Junsheng shouted for help. Reverse Head quickly leaped over, grabbed Yi Junsheng's legs with both hands, and pulled hard in an attempt to rescue him from the python's jaws. Unfortunately, Reverse Head was too weak; the python's throat was incredibly powerful, and Yi Junsheng was being swallowed inch by inch.
Inside the python's mouth, Yi Junsheng struggled as best as he could. He gripped the python's tongue tightly and tried to shake it off in hopes of making it release him. However, this only made things worse; the python tightened its grip and continued swallowing Yi Junsheng. At this point, half of Yi Junsheng's body was already inside the python's mouth. He began to feel suffocated and kicked wildly with his legs. Seeing Yi Junsheng in such a dire situation, Reverse Head quickly used his signature move, Soul Transfer, placing his soul into Yi Junsheng's body in preparation to counteract the python. However, the python possessed unique spiritual qualities and showed no fear of Reverse Head's efforts; instead, Yi Junsheng's body continued to be consumed slowly by the python. Realizing that his technique was ineffective, Reverse Head immediately returned his soul to his own body and devised another plan: he tied a rope around Yi Junsheng's legs with the other end secured to a Bamboo in the courtyard in hopes of delaying the python from swallowing him completely. Seizing this opportunity while empty-handed, Reverse Head unleashed several palm strikes against the python but found them utterly ineffective; the python continued forcefully swallowing Yi Junsheng.
Seeing no other options left, Reverse Head resorted to extreme measures. He entered Martial Bamboo Divine Domain and searched around until he finally found gunpowder. He immediately took it out and ignited it at the python's tail. With a loud explosion, the python was blasted high into the air for dozens of feet. Since Yi Junsheng's legs were tied with a rope, as the python soared into the air, it inadvertently pulled Yi Junsheng out of its mouth. Just freed from danger, Yi Junsheng was covered in saliva from the giant python and smelled terrible. Before falling back down to earth after being petrified for protection mid-air, there was a loud "bang," followed by clouds of dust filling the area. Confused, Yi Junsheng wondered aloud: "Why is this snake here? Did Medicine King Sun Simiao bring it here? That doesn't make sense; it just flew out from my treasure vault—could it be that meddlesome disciple of mine put it inside?"
Reverse Head could not stand the foul stench coming from Yi Junsheng: "You need to wash yourself off quickly! Don't you think you smell awful?"
Yi Junsheng sniffed himself and immediately felt nauseous; he rushed into the lotus pond within Martial Bamboo Divine Domain to soak himself. Half an hour later, he emerged from the pond looking refreshed. However, fueled by anger over nearly losing his life due to that snake, he sought ways to deal with the petrified Spirit Python but found little success. Furious, Yi Junsheng declared: "This snake is truly despicable! I have decided to use gunpowder again to blow it apart and vent my anger."
Reverse Head urgently tried to dissuade him: "You mustn't act recklessly! This giant python must have been brought back by Yi Zhangzhi; if anything happens to it, how will you explain it to him?"
Yi Junsheng rebutted, "What do I need to explain? Don't forget that I am Yi Zhangzhi's boss. Do I need to report to him?" Just as Yi Junsheng was preparing to ignite the gunpowder, Reverse Head struck him unconscious, preventing him from taking extreme measures.
After returning from Beast Den to Confucius Academy, Mengzi was meditating and practicing in the courtyard when Yi Zhangzhi arrived. Upon seeing that it was Yi Zhangzhi, Mengzi wasted no time and immediately launched an attack. Yi Zhangzhi, using his Taiji footwork, skillfully countered while speaking, "Is this how Confucius taught you to treat your savior?"
Mengzi replied, "In my eyes, you are a sinner of the martial world, not my benefactor. Do not defile the name of Confucius." After saying this, he struck fiercely at Yi Zhangzhi. Ming Lang Qian Kun gathered his energy and met Mengzi's strike with his own. To everyone's surprise, after increasing his power several times, Mengzi managed to push Yi Zhangzhi back several steps, causing him to spit blood and sustain injuries. Yi Zhangzhi was taken aback and said, "How is it that your power has increased several times despite your old injuries not being healed? Have you found a shortcut to enhance your martial arts?"
Mengzi made a dismissive expression and said, "Enough nonsense. Today I will eradicate evil from the martial world and eliminate harm from society. Prepare to die." He launched another powerful strike at the injured Yi Zhangzhi. Faced with the significantly enhanced power of Mengzi, Yi Zhangzhi dared not confront his palm directly and could only use techniques from the Taoist Sect Taiji to borrow strength and deflect the force. With his Dust Whisk inserted behind him, he used both hands to channel energy into a Taiji image on his palms. After receiving the force of Mengzi's strike, he immediately redirected it aside, resulting in a loud explosion that echoed throughout the entire Confucius Academy.
Hearing the noise, Ouyang Xiu rushed over and saw that Mengzi and Yi Zhangzhi were fighting. He immediately jumped into the fray intending to stop both sides from fighting. However, Mengzi, ignoring Ouyang Xiu's intervention, continued to attack Yi Zhangzhi. At this moment, in an unexpected move, Ouyang Xiu positioned himself in front of Yi Zhangzhi, preparing to take on Mengzi's attack. Though filled with hatred, Mengzi, still rational enough not to kill innocents, had no choice but to temporarily hold back.
Yi Zhangzhi, drawing out his Dust Whisk, said, "I came here to check on your injuries, but I didn't expect you to misunderstand me so deeply. Since that's the case, I won't disturb you any longer and will take my leave." With that, he departed from the Confucius Academy, while Mengzi's original target was not actually Yi Zhangzhi, allowing him to leave safely.
At this moment, Liang Shanbo, along with Zhu Yingtai and others returned. Immediately, Mengzi asked Liang Shanbo, "Do you know who in today's martial world knows the whereabouts of the Half-Orc?"
Liang Shanbo replied, "It is said that the one known as the Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances at the Dreaming Medical Pavilion knows about it. However, recently when Zhuge Kongming and others from the Martial Arts Community went to inquire, he refused to come out and even drew his blade against them."
Mengzi stated, "Then I will go ask myself; I don't believe I can't find out." With that, he headed towards the Dreaming Medical Pavilion.
Below the base of the northern martial arts group at the Beast Den, a message reached the Half-Dragon: news that the structure at Insect Peak had been destroyed by Mengzi. The Half-Dragon said, " Half Lion Man, your injuries have healed about seventy or eighty percent; you should go check on the situation of the Half Locust Man at Insect Peak ."
Half Lion Man replied, "Alright, I will set off immediately." He then left the Beast Den thinking: finally getting out; this time I must enjoy myself with a beauty before heading to Insect Peak .
As Half Lion Man passed through a field, he saw a Peasant Woman with her back turned towards him working in the field. Suddenly filled with desire, he dashed over in an instant and stood behind her. At that moment, he heard her lamenting voice: "Why is there no one in this world who wants to take advantage of me? After all, I'm a flower among ten miles!" When Half Lion Man heard such words, he was quite surprised and said, "This is my first time hearing a woman express such a lament; let me fulfill your request."
Upon hearing the rough voice of a man, the Peasant Woman was overjoyed and turned around saying, "Then come!"
Half Lion Man saw the face of Peasant Woman and immediately vomited out the prey he had eaten yesterday, even bringing up stomach acid. Peasant Woman had spots all over her left cheek, brown patches; her right cheek was covered in acne; there were three black moles on her forehead; her nose was black and appeared to be rotting; her lips were asymmetrical, one large and one small. When Peasant Woman saw the lion-like creature, she remained unusually calm and said, "Strange person, it seems we are both suffering from similar fates. You must be shunned by all women, but I will not despise you. Come, let us enjoy ourselves here."
Having not experienced a woman's touch for many days, Half Lion Man felt a strong desire. However, what met his eyes was such an appearance that he vomited a few more mouthfuls of stomach acid after taking another look at Peasant Woman. At that moment, Half Lion Man steeled his heart, covered his eyes with a piece of cloth, and the two engaged in their carnal pleasures in the fields.
After a while, once they had finished, Peasant Woman took out a vial of poison and drank it, dying with a smile. The lustful beast Half Lion Man, feeling extremely ashamed after the act, realized he had stooped so low as to be with such a person. This undoubtedly tarnished the reputation of Half-Orc, and he removed the cloth from his eyes and silently left the fields heading towards Insect Peak.
Mengzi arrived at Dreaming Medical Pavilion for a while with Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances. With revenge on his mind, Mengzi's temperament gradually changed and became more extreme. He said, "Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances, if you reveal the hiding place of Half-Orc, I will ensure your safety; otherwise, do not blame me for being merciless."
Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances, holding onto the hilt of his knife, replied, "Oh, then I shall have to witness the abilities of the scholar."
Sun Simiao arrived at the former residence of Skeleton of the Bone and Flesh in the extremely cold place known as Snow Sea Human Bone Bridge, searching for what Yi Zhangzhi referred to as Eternal Ice of the Blazing Sun. At this time, multiple skeletons emerged from the bridge and approached Sun Simiao. A light shone from beneath the bridge accompanied by a voice: "Those who trespass on Snow Sea Human Bone Bridge shall die!"
Half Lion Man reached Insect Peak, where many Half-Insect Man were digging desperately in the remnants of the peak. After understanding the situation, he began to help dig with the intention of rescuing Half Locust Man.
Tension filled the air within Dreaming Medical Pavilion, where Mengzi faced off against Knife Realm Pinnacle Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances. What would be the outcome of this decisive battle? The mysterious and unpredictable Snow Sea Human Bone Bridge: old master gone, new master present; could Sun Simiao find Eternal Ice of the Blazing Sun here? With Insect Peak destroyed by Mengzi, would they be able to rescue Half Locust Man, who was buried under debris along with Half Lion Man and others?
