The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
After being rescued, Bao Qing appeared at Huangfu Mingmo's residence, Ming Kong Residence. Bao Qing carefully observed that the person who saved him was Qiu Yuxia. Bao Qing said, "Thank you for saving me, Miss. How did you know I was in danger at Snow Sea Human Bone Bridge?"
Qiu Yuxia replied, "It was Yi Zhangzhi who informed me. He thought you might be in danger and asked me to check on you. When I arrived at the outskirts of Snow Sea Human Bone Bridge, sure enough, I found you injured and lying on the ground, so I came to your aid."
Bao Qing said, "I see! Do you know if Mr. Huangfu has returned here?"
Qiu Yuxia responded, "I haven't seen my friend return these days. Could something have happened to him?"
Bao Qing hurriedly replied, "It's nothing serious. It's just that last time at Martial Bamboo Divine Domain, Mr. Huangfu challenged Yi Zhangzhi again and failed. After that, I noticed he seemed emotionally unstable, and I feared he might do something unwise."
Qiu Yuxia reassured him, "Don't worry; he won't act irrationally." At that moment, a Masked Man suddenly infiltrated Ming Kong Residence. After Qiu Yuxia left Bao Qing's room, the Masked Man quietly entered and stealthily approached Bao Qing's bedside, drawing his sword for a lethal strike. Bao Qing quickly slapped the bed with his right hand, propelling his body upward and narrowly avoiding the deadly blow.
Outside, Qiu Yuxia heard commotion from within the room and rushed in to find the Masked Man stabbing at Bao Qing's vital points again. Seeing this, Qiu Yuxia immediately focused her energy and unleashed a burst of sword qi to block the Masked Man's attack. At the same time, she swiftly moved beside the Masked Man to engage him in close combat. After several exchanges, the Masked Man was no match for Qiu Yuxia and had his mask torn away to reveal himself as Medicine King Sun Simiao. Realizing his identity had been exposed, Sun Simiao feigned several moves before attempting to escape. Fearing it was a diversion tactic, Qiu Yuxia chose not to pursue further and asked Bao Qing, "Why would Medicine King Sun Simiao come to assassinate you? Do you have any past grievances with him?"
Bao Qing was also puzzled and replied, "I don't know either; I have no grievances with Medicine King Sun Simiao in the past or recently! If he came to assassinate me, it can only be because he has dealings with Tang Bo Hu."
Qiu Yuxia said, "I see. It seems I need to strengthen the defenses here."
Sun Simiao, having escaped from Ming Kong Residence, was extremely frustrated. "Damn Qiu Yuxia! This assassination attempt on Bao Qing has failed miserably; it will be much more difficult to attempt again in the future. After Yi Zhangzhi returned to Martial Bamboo Divine Domain, he informed Zhan Zhao and others from Judicial Court about Bao Qing's potential danger and how Qiu Yuxia had saved him. Upon hearing that Bao Qing might be in peril, the Judicial Court guards expressed their desire to help him. Yi Zhangzhi said, "Chief Justice Bao is likely at Huangfu Mingmo's residence, Ming Kong Residence; you can go there to find him." Thus, Zhan Zhao and others set off for Ming Kong Residence.
On his way to Judicial Court, Sun Simiao encountered Zhan Zhao and other Judicial Court members heading towards Ming Kong Residence and thought to himself, "This is getting more troublesome." Moments later, Sun Simiao arrived at Martial Arts Tribunal where he saw Yi Junsheng present but hesitated to speak up. Yi Junsheng noticed this and said, "Medicine King Sun Simiao! It seems you have something to say; why are you holding back?"
Tang Bo Hu interjected, "Sun Simiao! Have you fulfilled my request? Did you kill Bao Qing?"
Yi Junsheng exclaimed upon hearing this: "What? Sun Simiao wants to kill Bao Qing too? That's even better; we are like-minded individuals!"
Only after hearing Yi Junsheng's words did Sun Simiao dare to speak honestly: "I did attempt to assassinate Bao Qing but failed. However, now that I know his whereabouts, I want to make a deal with you, Bridge Master."
Tang Bo Hu said, "I know what kind of deal you want to make, but one piece of information cannot be exchanged for a block of Eternal Ice of the Blazing Sun. You not only need to provide the whereabouts of Bao Qing, but you also have to join us in the effort to assassinate Bao Qing. The moment Bao Qing meets his end will be when you receive the Eternal Ice of the Blazing Sun. How does that sound?"
Sun Simiao replied without hesitation, "Deal. I don't believe that so many of us can't kill a severely injured Bao Qing. However, there is some bad news I need to share with you. On my way here, I saw people from the Judicial Court heading towards Bao Qing's recovery location at Ming Kong Residence. With them protecting him, it seems we will have to go through more trouble to kill Bao Qing. Reverse Head interjected, "It's very possible."

Tang Bo Hu stated, "Enough with the nonsense. Let's head to Ming Kong Residence immediately and kill Bao Qing." With that, Tang Bo Hu led the Skeleton Army along with Lin Cong, Yi Junsheng, and others towards Ming Kong Residence.
Meanwhile, Yi Zhangzhi arrived at Dreaming Medical Pavilion looking for Shu Heng, intending to ask for her help in dealing with the Half-Orc. Shu Heng, having recovered from her injuries, was preparing to leave Dreaming Medical Pavilion to seek revenge on her family's enemies led by Duanmu Chong when Yi Zhangzhi arrived just in time. Yi Zhangzhi said, "Shu Heng, I would like to ask for your assistance in dealing with the Half-Orc. Can you lend me a hand?"
Shu Heng responded, "Of course! How can I assist you?"
Yi Zhangzhi explained, "Like this and like that."
Shu Heng replied, "I understand. I will act according to the plan. Farewell for now." She then left Dreaming Medical Pavilion and headed towards Northern Martial Arts. The Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances present were worried about Shu Heng's safety and wanted to follow her for protection but were stopped by Yi Zhangzhi. He said, "Heroic Blade warriors, there's no need to worry; Shu Heng will be fine. Instead, I have something I would like your help with."
The Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances asked, "What is it?"
Yi Zhangzhi replied, "Please put on a show for the Half Lion Man like this and like that."
The Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances said, "Alright, I won't hold back when the time comes."
Yi Zhangzhi responded, "That's good."
In the late night, Tang Bo Hu led the Skeleton Army to the Ming Kong Residence. Zhan Zhao and others from the Judicial Court came out to confront them. Zhan Zhao asked Tang Bo Hu, "Who are you, Red Skeleton? Why have you surrounded this place with your army?" Tang Bo Hu did not answer Zhan Zhao's question but directly ordered, "All troops, charge in and kill the deceitful Bao Qing." With that command, Jia Baoyu and the other Skeletons charged towards the Judicial Court members, and the sounds of battle erupted. Due to the low martial skills of the Skeleton Army, they were repeatedly defeated by the Judicial Court members within an hour, their bones shattered multiple times, only to regroup and continue attacking, resulting in a stalemate.
Sun Simiao, eager to kill Bao Qing quickly, personally engaged with Judicial Court guard Ma Han. The two exchanged blows, sparks flying as they illuminated the night sky.
Lin Cong and Lu Kui were entangled in battle with Zhan Zhao, employing a hit-and-run tactic to delay him. Zhan Zhao understood their intentions and unleashed a flurry of quick strikes, aiming for a swift resolution. Lin Cong and Lu Kui relied on their numerical advantage and exceptional agility to evade Zhan Zhao's sword energy multiple times, leading to a deadlock. Meanwhile, Tang Bo Hu and Yi Junsheng seized the opportunity to sneak into the Ming Kong Residence to end Bao Qing's life. However, when they entered the courtyard, they were confronted by a stunning figure—the Sword Immortal Qiu Yuxia. Qiu Yuxia said, "I didn't expect you, Yi Junsheng, to resort to such actions. Today, I will teach you a lesson on behalf of your disciple Yi Zhangzhi."
Yi Junsheng fanned himself with his feather fan, feeling a cool breeze on his face. "Qiu Beauty, you misunderstand my intentions. I am here to protect Bao Qing." After saying this, Yi Junsheng made an unexpected move; he turned around and revealed a giant pair of scissors, aiming for Tang Bo Hu's left hand. Tang Bo Hu was caught off guard as his left hand was severed by Yi Junsheng's giant scissors. Seeing this, Yi Junsheng immediately picked up the severed limb from the ground. Tang Bo Hu's body could not be reassembled temporarily. "Damn White Face! I should not have trusted you," Tang Bo Hu exclaimed. Before he could finish his words, Qiu Yuxia's sword energy struck again. Tang Bo Hu raised his right hand to block it but was pushed back several steps before launching a counterattack against Qiu Yuxia. The two engaged in battle without a clear victor.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Yi Junsheng left the courtyard in search of Bao Qing's whereabouts. His efforts were rewarded when he finally found Bao Qing's room. Pushing open the door, he saw Bao Qing lying motionless on the bed. Yi Junsheng thought: What a perfect opportunity; it seems you are destined to die at my hands today! Hahaha!
Yi Junsheng walked slowly towards Bao Qing with his knife in hand. Arriving at the bedside, he raised the sharp scissors, ready to plunge them into Bao Qing's heart.
Shu Heng followed Yi Zhangzhi's orders and arrived at Northern Martial Arts' Beast Den. As soon as the lustful beast Half Lion Man caught wind of a woman's scent, he leaped out of his cave. "Beautiful lady! Did you come specifically to find me?" Shu Heng responded to the loathsome beast with an attack, launching a fierce palm strike at Half Lion Man. After blocking Shu Heng's palm energy, Half Lion Man realized that Shu Heng had already escaped. Unable to let a beauty slip away so easily from under his nose, he sprinted after her. When Half Lion Man reached a Desolate Forest Path, he saw two figures facing each other amidst an oppressive atmosphere of hostility—Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances and Yi Zhangzhi.
Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances declared: "Yi Zhangzhi! You dare to steal my love? Today I will tear you apart!"
Yi Zhangzhi replied: "What do you mean by stealing love? A man is unmarried and a woman is unmarried; I have the right to pursue my own happiness." Before Yi Zhangzhi could finish explaining himself, Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances attacked with furious blade energy. Yi Zhangzhi raised his Dust Whisk; air surged as he blocked the incoming blade energy and officially began their duel. Watching from the sidelines, Half Lion Man felt pleased and thought: "When two fight, it's the fisherman who benefits."
Tension filled the air as Yi Zhangzhi faced off against Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances in this inexplicable battle. Who would emerge victorious? What actions would Half Lion Man take next? Inside Ming Kong Residence, could Yi Junsheng successfully deceive Qiu Yuxia and kill Bao Qing?
