The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
The dual-natured Liu Yi returned to Liu Ling Tavern. After downing a drink, steam emanated from Liu Yi, enveloping him in mist. Moments later, everything returned to normal. Liu Yiyan said, "Now that my identity has been exposed, the Eternal Years of Third Space will continuously seek revenge on me, and the Martial Arts Community will not let me go. It seems I need to activate the Consciousness Corps soon." With that, Liu Yi entered the basement of Liu Ling Tavern.

At that moment, a voice from below emerged, belonging to Old Witch: "Liang Shanbo, your analysis is spot on; today I want you all to come back empty-handed."
Yi Junsheng shouted, "You strange monster, have the guts to come out and fight me one-on-one? I will definitely kill you to vent my anger!"
Then a voice that belonged to Liu Yi said, "Useless White Face, why are you still alive? Did you come here hoping I would send you off?"
Yi Junsheng laughed heartily and said, "Do you think it's that easy for you to kill me? Monster Liu Yi, come out quickly; I grant you a complete corpse!" Just as Yi Junsheng boasted, a green stream of energy surged from the tavern's basement toward them. The group was caught off guard as the energy flowed through their bodies. In an instant, Liang Shanbo's consciousness began to change; he suddenly felt himself as Duanmu Chong while seeing Yi Junsheng as Daughter Clan Remnant Shu Heng. Yi Junsheng's consciousness also shifted; he felt himself as Shu Heng while Liang Shanbo became his family's nemesis Duanmu Chong. Thus, Yi Junsheng furiously battled Liang Shanbo in a bid for revenge for his clan.
Clanging Rose felt herself as Mengzi while Clanging Carnation felt like Half-Dragon; the two fought fiercely against each other. In the basement of the tavern, Liu Yi watched this scene with immense joy through his clairvoyance: "Hahaha! Consciousness Corps, you are doing great; I just need to sit back and enjoy the show."
Yi Junsheng's desire for revenge was unwavering while Liang Shanbo's determination to eradicate remnants was exceptionally strong. The two engaged in a fierce battle of life and death. Due to having just undergone surgery and being originally weak in martial arts, it wasn't long before signs of defeat appeared for Yi Junsheng. Liang Shanbo executed extreme moves as the Ritual of Killing from the Confucian school activated with the intent to eliminate his hated foe in one strike. Just when Yi Junsheng was in dire straits, Divine Turtle Eternal Life led the people of Eternal Years into the scene and struck Liang Shanbo with a palm. Unprepared, Liang Shanbo was sent flying dozens of feet away, spitting blood and fainting instantly. Meanwhile, others from Eternal Years also stopped members of Clangorous Guard Team from fighting among themselves. Divine Turtle Eternal Life said, "What a marvelous method of killing through consciousness; let's take them away from here." Thus, Yi Junsheng and others were taken away from the scene.
Fusang Three Tigers: the Mad Lord, Blood-Crazed Lord, and Dreaming Mad Lord arrived at North Sea Peaks where Yi Zhangzhi, Bai Wujin, Zheng Po, and Murong Yaoxian stood vigilant. Tai Kuang Lord said, "Bai Wujin, hand over Horned Blade Lin Knife and I will spare your life."
Bai Wujin laughed loudly and replied, "Fusang madman, where does your confidence come from? Are you challenging us as a group or one-on-one?"
Tai Kuang Lord: "Of course, it's a group effort. Whatever we brothers do, we do together, and this time is no exception."
Yi Zhangzhi said: "Wait a moment, Fusang Three Tigers. Since there are three of you and four of us, why not have a fair duel? Best two out of three; if you win, we will hand over our swords; if we win, you will give us one of your artifacts."
Tai Kuang Lord thought to himself: Among the four of them, only Bai Wujin is uninjured. Any one of us can match Bai Wujin, and while the outcome is uncertain, we have a good chance of winning the remaining two matches. If it’s three against four, we may not have the advantage.
After discussing with the other two, Tai Kuang Lord replied: "Alright, we accept your proposal. One-on-one, best two out of three." He then marked a circle with a diameter of about four zhang as the battlefield and stated: "Whoever is knocked out of this area loses. Also, remember that in this duel, life and death are at stake; you must be prepared. Who will go first?"
Before Yi Zhangzhi could make arrangements, Zheng Po, seeing his enemy right before him and eager for revenge, jumped into the arena: "I’ll take the first match. I want to eliminate you culprits for my sect!"
Tai Kuang Lord, whose injuries had mostly healed but still lingered, analyzed that among Yi Zhangzhi's group, Murong Yaoxian would not participate in the fight and that Zheng Po was the weakest among the three. Therefore, Tai Kuang Lord decided to enter the fray. Just as he jumped into the arena, Zheng Po attacked first with a flurry of sword strikes that were swift and imposing, aimed directly at Tai Kuang Lord. However, Zheng Po’s swordsmanship overly emphasized form, leaving many openings. As a top-tier expert, Tai Kuang Lord quickly saw through his moves; he countered all of Zheng Po’s attacks and launched a deceptive strike in retaliation. Zheng Po attempted to block but could only deflect the feint while the real attack struck him directly in an open spot, sending him flying out of the arena. Tai Kuang Lord won the first match effortlessly.
After losing the duel, Zheng Po, filled with rage and humiliation, continued to attack Tai Kuang Lord. Bai Wujin immediately spoke up: "A real man should be able to accept defeat in a duel!"
Upon hearing this, Zheng Po stopped his assault and silently walked aside.
Yi Zhangzhi: "Zheng Men Master, don’t blame yourself; you’ve done your best. Fusang Three Tigers, you’ve won the first match; now it’s your turn to send someone for the second."
The Blood-Crazed Lord jumped into the arena first: "I’ll take this one; who will fight me?"
Yi Zhangzhi privately told Bai Wujin: "For the third match against Dreaming Mad Lord, who excels in dream-killing techniques, I will handle it. For this match against Blood-Crazed Lord, I believe you can manage."
Bai Wujin replied: "Alright, I’ll take this one." He then leaped into the arena. The Blood-Crazed Lord wove a web of blades with his knife technique, intending to force Bai Wujin out of the battlefield. Not to be outdone, Bai Wujin unleashed his blade energy with great might to counteract the dense barrage of attacks. The two fought fiercely for dozens of exchanges without a clear victor. At that moment, the Blood-Crazed Lord, using his own blood on his blade, prepared to unleash a bloodthirsty attack. Even before he struck, the scent of blood filled the air, making one feel nauseous; when he finally unleashed his move, a wave of crimson energy surged forth like a flood.
In response, Bai Wujin, pushing his Inner Strength to its limits, executed his ultimate move: Ten Thousand Blades Submission. A massive energy blade formed in mid-air and came crashing down with astonishing power. The clash between their techniques sent dust flying and shook the heavens; anyone lacking sufficient strength was blown back several dozen zhangs. Both Zheng Po and Murong Yaoxian were caught in the residual force and sent flying out; however, since Yi Zhangzhi was closer to Murong Yaoxian, he managed to grab her hand while Zheng Po, unfortunately caught off guard by misfortune, could only silently accept his fate.
The two combatants observed their moves, with the Blood-Crazed Lord being forced back a step by the force of the energy, while Bai Wujin was pushed to the edge of the arena, a mere fraction determining the outcome of this duel. Yi Zhangzhi stated, "The winner has been decided; Blood-Crazed Lord, you have lost this round."
Blood-Crazed Lord replied, "Remember your luck."
Yi Zhangzhi continued, "Now that we each have one victory, the final showdown will be between me and Dreaming Mad Lord. Please." With that, Yi Zhangzhi jumped into the arena. Dreaming Mad Lord entered without a word, channeling energy into both hands, preparing to unleash dream illusion techniques before striking down Yi Zhangzhi. Suddenly, Yi Zhangzhi waved his Dust Whisk, and the Taoist Sect's cultivation manifested as Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism, leaving the Fusang Three Tigers momentarily stunned. Before Dreaming Mad Lord could recover from his surprise, Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism's attack was already upon him. Dreaming Mad Lord had no choice but to abandon his dream techniques and draw his sword in response. At the same time, Yi Zhangzhi swung his Dust Whisk to attack, creating a two-on-one situation. Dreaming Mad Lord found it difficult to fend off four hands; after several exchanges, his clothing was already torn in multiple places by Yi Zhangzhi's Dust Whisk. At this moment, Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism unleashed Tai Chi True Qi while Yi Zhangzhi simultaneously activated Buddhist Sect's secret technique, Nine Buddhas Forgive Sins. Both attacks struck at Dreaming Mad Lord.
Dreaming Mad Lord had no choice but to exhaust all his true essence, wielding his sword swiftly to create a protective barrier of qi around himself for defense. When Yi Zhangzhi and Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism's attacks hit Dreaming Mad Lord simultaneously, a terrible scream echoed through the arena as Dreaming Mad Lord exploded into pieces, blood and flesh raining down. In an instant, Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism merged back into Yi Zhangzhi's body. Upon witnessing their brother's tragic demise, Tai Kuang Lord and Blood-Crazed Lord drew their swords and charged at Yi Zhangzhi, while Bai Wujin simultaneously attacked Tai Kuang Lord.
The two tigers from Fusang fought fiercely against Yi Zhangzhi; although they were slightly at a disadvantage, their desire for revenge for their brother remained unshaken, even when faced with overwhelming force. Zheng Po saw that the two tigers disregarded the battle agreement and jumped into the arena to fight alongside Yi Zhangzhi against Tai Kuang Lord. Murong Yaoxian also joined in to protect Yi Zhangzhi from harm during the battle against Tai Kuang Lord.
After Yi Junsheng and others were taken away from Liu Ling Tavern by those from Eternal Years, they remained under the influence of Consciousness Corps' illusion techniques. Yi Junsheng faced Liang Shanbo once again while Clanging Rose battled Clanging Carnation. The relentless fight between both sides resumed.
The Hate Blade Swordsman finally learned about Huangfu Mingmo’s whereabouts through Martial Arts Alliance and headed towards Dreaming Medical Pavilion. On the way there, Smoke and Rain, Flower of the Eighteen Floors' Master Dreamy Beauty personally appeared to intercept him. Dreamy Beauty smiled coyly and said, "Hate Blade Swordsman, last time I let you escape; this time you won't be so lucky. You are destined to become Dreamy Consort's prey! Hahaha!"
