The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
In the wilderness, Huangfu Mingmo confronts the now formidable Nightmare Demon for love and justice. Filled with hatred, Huangfu Mingmo has no words left; only battle can release the long-held depression. The sword light is cold, the sword energy fierce, the sword techniques ruthless; people go mad, people rage, people explode. The astonishing duel between the two has begun.
Huangfu Mingmo's killing intent envelops the surroundings, sword energy bursts forth in all directions, and all his fury is mercilessly unleashed with each swing of his sword. The Nightmare Demon’s demonic aura shakes the heavens and earth, its evil techniques tremble the ground, and all flames of hatred burn wildly alongside the sweeping blade techniques. The first strike from both sides is astonishing; winds and thunder rush forth, flames spread, and the ground is covered in a sea of thunder and fire as if it were the end of days. The cold gazes exchanged between them and their indifferent expressions signify that this is a battle to the death.
The Nightmare Demon’s body overflows with Evil Energy, surrounding the scene in an eerie atmosphere. Huangfu Mingmo channels his sword tip, sweeping away the gloom. In their initial exchanges, both sides attack and defend with equal skill, making it hard to determine a victor. Huangfu Mingmo's unwavering determination to eliminate evil ignites an endless fighting spirit; every move he makes is filled with legendary techniques, and his palm winds are driven by vast and powerful Inner Strength aimed at killing the Demon before him. The Nightmare Demon refuses to back down; its evil energy flows around it, red eyes open wide as murderous intent surges forth. Magic Techniques crash like waves while Demonic Arts sweep through like a fierce wind, determined to eliminate anyone who stands in its way. Amidst the shadows of swords and flames, what cannot be burned away is hatred. What cannot be frozen amidst the cold light of blades is fury.
After several exchanges of fierce combat, Huangfu Mingmo unleashes his signature move once more. As he channels his sword's momentum back, his renowned technique—One Sword to Level the Field—emerges with a sweeping force like a strong wind breaking through waves. The Nightmare Demon responds with its brutal Magic Technique once again; in a reverse motion of its blade technique, Shattered Corpse, No Bones Left operates alongside its blade energy to cover the ground in a sweeping attack. The earth quakes under their clash; mountains sway as if they might collapse, and everything is destroyed in an instant. Both are violently pushed back by powerful energies, each spitting blood.
Huangfu Mingmo then employs his ultimate technique—One Sword Transforms into Nine Thousand—where a massive energy sword transforms into countless sword energies surging toward the Nightmare Demon. The Nightmare Demon will not allow its enemy such rampant freedom; with its left hand it deflects energy while executing Severing Tendons Without Harming Vessels with its right hand holding a cross-cutting blade. The demonic technique—Soul Slaughter Without Harming Spirits—is infused within its blade's might; both techniques converge into a deadly stream aimed directly at Huangfu Mingmo’s attack. Extreme techniques gather together; heaven and earth are turned upside down, sun and moon lose their order, chaos reigns as spirits gasp in awe; the wasteland is utterly destroyed with nothing left behind as Huangfu bears resentment while blood splatters three feet around him. Injured, Huangfu Mingmo is knocked to the ground by overwhelming energy as the Nightmare Demon declares: “It seems today is not your end but rather that of a hero.”
Filled with bitterness, Huangfu Mingmo feels unwilling to accept defeat but finds himself too weak to continue fighting. As he struggles to stand using his sword for support against his battered body, a blade of energy shoots toward him without warning. Unable to evade it, Huangfu Mingmo is struck down once more; when the Dragon Spring Sword hits the ground, it emits a resonant clang—a sound that signifies both the sword's lament and Huangfu Mingmo’s sorrow. Having faced Yi Zhangzhi multiple times and fought against Nightmare Demon repeatedly only to return defeated reflects either the weakness of a Swordsman or perhaps an unfair fate; at this moment, it no longer matters. Unable to release his grievances, Huangfu Mingmo quietly lies on the ground gazing at the azure sky; at this moment there are no curses but rather an appreciation for beauty because he knows he has lost this battle and that Nightmare Demon will not spare him; all that remains is waiting for his enemy’s strike. No matter what happens next, death is inevitable; thus he takes this moment to enjoy the scenery as a tribute to his life.
The Nightmare Demon stands victorious; after defeating Huangfu Mingmo, its eyes return to normalcy. The Nightmare Demon says: “It seems that your greatest scar is not being able to take revenge but rather your disappointment and despair; I choose not to kill you now but instead let you sink into regret and despair—that would be far more entertaining than simply killing you! Hahaha!” With that said, the Nightmare Demon leaves the scene.
Huangfu Mingmo musters all his strength just to stand up; he gathers energy in his fingertips to summon his sword back into his hand before staggering toward Dreaming Medical Pavilion.
At Wind and Rain Valley, disciples from Eternal Time surround those from Lingxie Demon Domain preparing for total annihilation. Evil Demon Reincarnation says: “Eternal Time Master, you should think twice about this or you will become a sinner of eternal time.”
Eternal Time Master replies: “Is that so? No need for further words—kill!”
With cries for bloodshed rising up, a fierce battle begins. Duanmu Chong faces off against Demon Among Demons while Eternal Time Master personally confronts Evil Demon Reincarnation; Divine Turtle Eternal Life and Crane-Haired Youthful Face engage other members from Lingxie Demon Domain.
Eternal Time Master unleashes power that shakes mountains and rivers as energy sweeps across Wind and Rain Valley. Evil Demon Reincarnation’s evil aura surges upward as demonic currents rush forth displaying combined techniques from hellish realms. With a thunderous strike that shatters earth and splits ground open wide, Eternal Time Master is pushed back by this force sustaining injuries while hearing Evil Demon Reincarnation say: “What an unexpected outcome! Are you really Eternal Time Master?”
Eternal Time Master responds: “The outcome remains undecided—let’s continue.”
Evil Demon Reincarnation said, "It seems you won't give up until you reach the Yellow River, and you won't shed tears until you see the coffin! I shall fulfill your wish." With that, Evil Demon Reincarnation shouted loudly, channeling Magic Technique · Devour Living Beings into his palm, preparing to deliver a fatal blow. Seeing this, Eternal Constant countered with the signature move · Eternal Motion, clashing with Magic Technique. The impact shook the ground, and Wind and Rain Valley was once again devastated; the once barren land now split apart for miles, with rocks tumbling and clouds swirling, creating a scene that was hard to behold. Both combatants were pushed back simultaneously, neither able to gain the upper hand.
Duanmu Chong faced off against Demon Among Demons, a cunning adversary fighting fiercely like a ruthless demon. In their exchanges, Duanmu Chong relied on strategy while Demon Among Demons aimed to take lives without mercy. The two fought fiercely, causing the skies to change color and rivers to churn. For now, they were evenly matched, but Duanmu Chong had gained the initiative.
Masters such as Divine Turtle Eternal Life and Crane-Haired Youthful Face were decimating the minions of Lingxie Demon Domain, causing many spirits to abandon their hosts and wander aimlessly in the air. Divine Turtle Eternal Life and others seized the opportunity, striking down the spirits until they were left in disarray. The casualties among Lingxie Demon Domain were severe.
Seeing his subordinates fall tragically, Evil Demon Reincarnation unleashed a vicious attack, determined to kill Eternal Constant as a tribute to the fallen souls. However, Eternal Constant was not one to be easily slain; with a twist of his staff, he unleashed the demon-slaying technique · Dreaming Eternal Land, an unprecedented display of power that sent chills through everyone present. The clash of ultimate moves shook the universe with overwhelming force. Both combatants sustained injuries, but Evil Demon Reincarnation managed to retreat using the momentum.
When Demon Among Demons saw that Evil Demon Reincarnation had retreated, he too lost interest in continuing the fight. He launched several deceptive palm strikes towards Duanmu Chong, seeking an opportunity to escape. After blocking Demon Among Demons's palm energy, Duanmu Chong realized his opponent had fled and vented his anger on the trapped minions of Lingxie Demon Domain, striking down all spirits in a single blow. The spirits had no chance to evade and turned to ashes.
Eternal Constant remarked, "This time, Evil Demon Reincarnation and his followers were no match for us; it will be difficult for Lingxie Demon Domain to plot against the martial world."
Duanmu Chong replied, "I believe this is merely a feigned defeat by Evil Demon Reincarnation. His true strength has yet to be revealed; he must have a scheme."
Eternal Constant said, "Regardless, we have won this time. The most important thing now is to find their base. With both Poetry Sect and Confucius Academy destroyed, should we attack other sects?"
Duanmu Chong responded, "No need; Lyricism Sect is now deserted. We can use it as our base."
Eternal Constant agreed, "Alright then, everyone head towards Lyricism Sect." Thus, all those from Eternal Time made their way to Lyricism Sect.
On their way to Poetry Sect, they were intercepted by Premature Aging. Having removed the bullets from his body, his injuries had improved; meanwhile, Future Police was still heavily injured and limping as he walked. Given such a disparity in strength, there was no chance for victory for Future Police. Premature Aging said, "Please tell me your reason for wanting to kill me. If you can't provide a satisfactory answer, I will have no choice but to open the gates of Fengdu."
The room replied: "In the future, you are one of the main culprits behind the apocalypse. I come from the future to change history, and killing you is imperative."
Hearing this, Premature Aging laughed heartily and said, "You claim we will cause the apocalypse; you come from the future to change history.
