The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Yi Zhangzhi broke free from the encirclement of Demon Among Demons, Eternal Sovereign, and others, quickly heading towards Jingyue Waterfall, with enemies relentlessly pursuing him from behind. At this moment, Yi Zhangzhi was exhausted, his Inner Strength nearly depleted, and he bore multiple injuries. If caught by Demon Among Demons and the others, he would undoubtedly die. Therefore, during his escape, Yi Zhangzhi occasionally scattered his blood in different directions to mislead his pursuers.
When Eternal Sovereign and the others arrived at a fork in the road, they found bloodstains on all three paths. Demon Among Demons said, "What a cunning Yi Zhangzhi. It seems we must split into three groups. The left path leads to Jingyue Waterfall, which is a dead end; just in case, we should send someone to follow it."
Divine Turtle Eternal Life replied, "Then I will lead a group down this path."
Eternal Sovereign said, "The other two paths are more promising; I will pursue one with you, Demon Among Demons."
Demon Among Demons: "It's settled then; let's go." Thus, the three groups set off in their respective directions.
Yi Zhangzhi arrived first at Jingyue Waterfall, where the water cascaded down like a silver river falling from the sky. Seeing such a magnificent waterfall made him feel melancholic, as this place was about to become his final resting place. At that moment, Yi Zhangzhi made a decision. He summoned his remaining Inner Strength to manifest the Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism from his Taoist Sect training. With the last of its energy, the Buddha's Mysterious Mechanism swiftly flew over the waterfall; however, halfway through, it faltered and fell along with the rushing water.
When Divine Turtle Eternal Life and the others reached Jingyue Waterfall, they saw Yi Zhangzhi sitting on the ground meditating. Divine Turtle Eternal Life approached with a spear aimed at him, but Yi Zhangzhi showed no reaction and simply awaited his fate. Years Leave No Trace immediately stopped Divine Turtle Eternal Life's attempt to kill him, saying, "Yi Zhangzhi may be here, but this place is a dead end. His choice to escape here might not be without purpose; we do not know if he is truly Yi Zhangzhi. I suggest we capture him and let the Supreme Lord verify before taking further action."
Upon hearing this, Divine Turtle Eternal Life found it reasonable and ceased his attack. "Fine, we will capture this Yi Zhangzhi. Someone bring him shackles and take him away."
The disciples of the Eternal Years Sect followed Divine Turtle Eternal Life's orders and approached Yi Zhangzhi to put shackles on him. Just then, Yi Zhangzhi struck out with a palm towards one of the disciples from Eternal Years Sect, and a scream echoed throughout Jingyue Waterfall, adding several souls to the underworld. Seeing one of his disciples killed, Divine Turtle Eternal Life was filled with rage and struck at Yi Zhangzhi. With his Inner Strength exhausted, there was no way for Yi Zhangzhi to defend himself against this blow; he could only endure it. He immediately spat out blood and was sent plummeting down the waterfall. As this happened, Years Leave No Trace launched another attack aimed at killing Yi Zhangzhi. The blade energy accurately struck his heart, and everyone watched as Yi Zhangzhi rapidly fell to the bottom of the waterfall.
Divine Turtle Eternal Life said, "To confirm whether Yi Zhangzhi is alive or dead, I suggest we tie ourselves with ropes and go down to check."
Years Leave No Trace replied, "There is no need for that; with my blade in his heart, he cannot survive. Besides, this waterfall is bottomless; falling down means certain death."
Divine Turtle Eternal Life: "Better safe than sorry. Bring me a long rope." Then he tied himself to a long rope and leaped off the waterfall. However, after descending several hundred feet without reaching the bottom or seeing Yi Zhangzhi's body, he had no choice but to climb back up along the rope.
A moment later, Divine Turtle Eternal Life reached the edge of the cliff.

On the other hand, both fighters felt that since so much time had passed without news of Yi Zhangzhi, he must have been dealt with already and lost interest in continuing their battle. Each side unleashed one final move that sent shockwaves through the area, causing all three to be pushed back. Seizing this opportunity, Murong Mulong hurriedly left to search for Yi Zhangzhi. At that moment, Duanmu Chong, attempting to ambush Evil Demon Reincarnation, struck out with a palm. However, Evil Demon Reincarnation, having anticipated this move, turned around to counterattack; both fighters sank three inches into the ground.
Evil Demon Reincarnation: "Old thief Duanmu! Although our goals align for now, do not forget that we are still enemies; how could I not be wary of you?"
Duanmu Chong said, "The cunning Evil Demon Reincarnation, truly worthy of being the master of the Lingxie Demon Domain. Let me see your skills." After speaking, Inner Strength surged, pushing back Evil Demon Reincarnation. The fierce battle resumed. One-on-one, Evil Demon Reincarnation was fearless, unleashing sinister strikes that stirred the winds and clouds, with Evil Energy sweeping across the ground, its moves ruthless and vicious, determined to Snow Before Shame. Duanmu Chong was equally unyielding, channeling the power of the earth into his palms, launching a mighty strike against Evil Demon Reincarnation's ferocious attack. The two techniques clashed violently, energy colliding like raging bulls, a long rainbow piercing the sun, winds and thunder urging on as the ground cracked for miles, yellow sand swirling and dust rising. Duanmu Chong was slightly outmatched, his strength waning as he suffered injuries and bled.
Seeing himself unable to defeat Evil Demon Reincarnation, Duanmu Chong immediately unleashed several frantic strikes and then seized the opportunity to escape. After deflecting Duanmu Chong's attacks with Evil Energy, Evil Demon Reincarnation remarked, "You overestimate yourself, old Duanmu. Consider yourself lucky this time. Hurry and investigate Yi Zhangzhi's fate." He then quickly left the scene.
Xia Zhouyi and Chen Qi arrived at the Southern Martial Arts Alliance Canglong Cave to visit Gui Gu Zhangmen to borrow the Seven-Colored Nurturing Stone. Several Famous Sword practitioners rushed out. The two immediately drew their swords to fight back, and a new chapter unfolded in their clash of blades. The swordsman's techniques were incredibly fierce, with chilling sword energy emanating from the blade users; the sound of clashing swords echoed throughout the area. When they entered Canglong Cave, they saw a tall man with disheveled hair and a beard sitting in a chair at the center of the hall. Xia Zhouyi bowed and said, "This must be Gui Gu Zi, the master of Canglong Cave. I am Xia Zhouyi, here for seven days; this is my disciple, Chen Qi."
Gui Gu Zi: "Indeed, I am Gui Gu Zi. May I ask what brings you two here?"
Xia Zhouyi: "I have heard that you possess the Seven-Colored Nurturing Stone. I came to borrow it to restore areas damaged by the God of Consciousness. Would you be willing to lend it?"
Gui Gu Zi: "How do you know I have the Seven-Colored Nurturing Stone?"
Xia Zhouyi: "I have my sources. Master Gui Gu, martial arts communities everywhere are suffering severe destruction from the God of Consciousness. We need your assistance."
Gui Gu Zi: "Since the last time when Dugu Yijian was killed at the Martial Arts Alliance, my Canglong Cave has not involved itself in martial affairs. Now you bring me all these disputes from the martial world. For the sake of dozens of lives from Canglong Cave, I must be cautious. You wish to borrow the stone; I can agree but only after there is complete peace in the martial world."
Xia Zhouyi: "But now all regions are losing their vitality; if we do not take action soon, even your Canglong Cave will not be spared when the land is ravaged."
Gui Gu Zi: "Here’s what we’ll do: right now, our martial world is facing invasions from both Eternal Years and those from the Lingxie Demon Domain. As long as these two organizations are eliminated, I will lend you the stone. This is my greatest concession; think it over."
Xia Zhouyi: "If that is so, I will wait until these two organizations are destroyed before returning. We take our leave now."
Gui Gu Zi: "See them off."
After Xia Zhouyi and his companion left, one of the disciples asked Gui Gu Zi: "Master, why did you set conditions for lending out the Seven-Colored Nurturing Stone, waiting until both Eternal Years and the Lingxie Demon Domain are destroyed? Will we really hand over the stone then?"
Gui Gu Zi: "What do you know? Do you think it's easy to deal with Eternal Years and the Lingxie Demon Domain? To eliminate these two organizations would require immense manpower and time; do you think those two sword users can accomplish it? It's simply a fantasy."
The disciple replied: "That makes sense; if that's how it is, we won't need to lend out our stone after all. Master’s strategy is indeed clever!"
Meanwhile, Murong Mulong found Yi Zhangzhi's body downstream at the Qingming River, preparing to place it in a coffin to take to the Tongfu Inn. At this moment, individuals from Eternal Years arrived. The leader of Eternal Years asked: "Murong Mulong, who lies within that coffin? Open it for us to see."
Enraged by this demand, Murong Mulong unsheathed his sword; its brilliance erupted into all directions as sword energy shot forth. The members of Eternal Years hastily defended against his sword energy but were unfortunately too weak in their inner strength and suffered injuries. Murong Mulong: "Take one more step forward, and you'll face death."
Not allowing such disdain from Murong Mulong, one named Years Leave No Trace unleashed his blade's light with swift energy aimed at killing him. In an instant, furious sword energy surged forth from the enraged Sword Saint's body as countless sword strikes shot towards those from Eternal Years. This time they were not so fortunate; those lacking inner strength met dire fates as blood flowed like rivers across the battlefield amidst continuous cries of despair. While Years Leave No Trace managed to block several sword strikes with his blade energy, he too sustained injuries; however, thanks to his rock-solid shell-like defense, Divine Turtle Eternal Life narrowly escaped disaster.
Eternal years cannot be retained by anyone. Moments later, Eternal Sovereign and Duanmu Chong arrived at the scene, only to see Divine Turtle Eternal Life and Years Leave No Trace looking defeated and disheartened. Eternal Sovereign asked, "What happened here?"
Divine Turtle Eternal Life explained the situation to Eternal Sovereign, and Duanmu Chong added, "To confirm whether Yi Zhangzhi is really dead, we should head to Tongfu Inn immediately."
Eternal Sovereign said, "Alright, those who are injured should return to Lyricism Sect, while those who are not injured will accompany me to Tongfu Inn." Thus, Eternal Sovereign led the group towards Tongfu Inn.
With the death of God of Consciousness, the members of Clangorous Guard Team were able to dispel the effects of the consciousness attack on their own. Today, Yi Junsheng sought out Clangorous Guard Team again to deal with Future Police. Yi Junsheng said, "Clanging Rose, do you know that a killer dressed in strange attire has appeared in Martial Arts Alliance, specializing in using bizarre hidden weapons? It’s time for you to show your determination to protect the martial world."
Clanging Rose replied, "Rest assured, our Clangorous Guard Team specializes in dealing with such troublesome and peculiar villains. Where is he? We will go eliminate this threat to the martial world immediately."

At that moment, with a loud crash, Bao Qing and Zhan Zhao were suddenly knocked out of Bookstore.
Tension filled the air. Murong Mulong brought Yi Zhangzhi's body back to Tongfu Inn, while at the same time, people from Eternal Years were also about to arrive at Tongfu Inn. What will be the outcome of the battle triggered by Yi Zhangzhi's body? Yi Junsheng sought help from Clangorous Guard Team against Future Police; will he succeed in taking revenge?
