Ji Xun followed the maid out of the wedding chamber. As soon as he stepped outside, a gust of wind blew, and he suddenly felt a heat rising within him. He couldn't tell if it was anger or something else. Ever since the engagement, he had been holding in a surge of frustration.
San Chun was married off from the palace, and her residence was closest to his lord's manor. However, on their wedding day, the Queen did not allow him to receive her first; instead, she made a detour to bring Zhong Ling into the manor first. That was one thing, but during the ceremony, he had to pay respects to Zhong Ling first as well. Now that he finally had a chance to be alone with San Chun, she unexpectedly caused a scene and threatened to hang herself.
When he had just come out of Zhong Ling's room, she had insisted he stay overnight, using all kinds of sweet talk, but Ji Xun simply ignored her. She must have felt wronged and deliberately made a fuss. He originally didn't want to deal with her; however, since she was the Queen's niece, even though he didn't like her, if something were to happen on their wedding night, it would reflect poorly on the entire manor. Unfortunately, he had left in such a hurry that he hadn't explained anything to San Chun.
Perhaps he didn't want to explain at all because he truly didn't know what to say. He had been forced into marrying Zhong Ling and was afraid that if he spoke up, she would only make more trouble.
San Chun lived in the Western Garden while Zhong Ling resided in the East Garden. As Ji Xun exited the Western Garden and hadn't yet reached its entrance, he saw a red lantern floating toward him from afar. Before the person arrived, he could already smell a fragrance wafting through the air—something like orchid yet not quite, something like musk yet not quite—making him feel quite comfortable.
He took a deep breath and suddenly felt refreshed, as if the heat within him had diminished significantly.
As the figure approached, he could see it was Ying. She wore a snow-white gauze dress and held up a red lantern. The light illuminated her cheeks; she looked as pure as snow with delicate features. In the gentle breeze, her white garment swayed like a lily blooming in the night.
Ji Xun particularly liked women in white clothing and couldn't help but glance at her a few more times.
Ying smiled at him and curtsied gracefully. "Where are you headed, my lord?"
"To the East Garden."
"Is it alright if I carry your lantern?"
Ji Xun nodded. "Yes."
Ying giggled softly as she walked ahead with the lantern while Ji Xun followed behind her. Today she seemed to be walking particularly slowly; for every three steps she took, she would pause for two. What should have been a short distance took nearly an incense stick's worth of time to cover. Ji Xun felt anxious but didn't want to rush her too much. Ying had saved his life before; he would never raise his voice at her for fear of startling her. Besides, she was easily frightened.
Ying had anticipated that the young master would not scold her, so she walked even slower. As she walked, she suddenly swayed, and Ji Xun stared at her, only realizing he should help her when she fell to the ground.
Ying did not expect him not to assist her; the fall was quite hard, leaving half of her body numb with pain.
Ji Xun helped her up and asked, "What happened to you?"
Ying gritted her teeth but dared not show any signs of pain on her face. She whimpered softly, "Young master, I feel dizzy." She leaned her head against his chest, deliberately opening her collar to let the fragrance from the sachet she had hidden in her clothes waft towards his nose.
The sachet contained He Huan Xiang, which she had spent a lot of money to acquire, used in conjunction with aphrodisiac wine for excellent effect.
Ji Xun did not know what was happening to him; walking behind her made him feel unbearably hot. At that moment, when he caught a whiff of her fragrance, the heat surged even more, and he felt a sudden rush of desire below, an impulse to release himself.
Startled, he hurriedly pushed her away, causing her to fall again, landing on the other side and hitting the ground completely.
She bit back the pain, got up by herself, and then threw herself back into his arms, sweetly saying, "Young master, Ying feels very uncomfortable. Please take me back to my room to rest for a while."
Having pushed her away, Ji Xun felt a pang of guilt in his heart. Seeing her so weak, he picked her up around the waist.
He vaguely felt that what he was doing was wrong; he thought about needing to meet Zhong Ling and having to consummate with San Chun. Yet for some reason, he couldn't bring himself to let go of her and ended up carrying her into the west wing's guest room.
Inside the guest room was a bed. He carried her to the bed and was about to set her down when suddenly Ying wrapped her arms around his neck and forcefully pulled him down.
Ji Xun lost his balance and fell onto the bed. He struggled to get up but found his arm pinned down by her as she rolled over him.
Unable to move, he exclaimed, "Ying, what are you doing?"
She tightened her grip on him and refused to let him go for a moment, saying softly: "Master, I like you, but do you like Yingying?" She was wearing a white long skirt, which was a color that matched her very well, making her look It exudes a temperament of innocence and maturity. She suddenly stretched out her hand and lifted the hem of her skirt up to her waist, where she was actually naked without a trace of clothing. Her snow-white legs and naked lower body were completely exposed to the air, giving the room an aura of beauty and coquettishness. ji Swelling, a longing pain shot through his body. "Sir, I'm so hot." She twisted her body and took off her clothes in an instant, revealing her alluring collarbones, plump breasts, snow-white belly, and the deep valley below. This was the ultimate temptation. The woman in front of him had rosy cheeks and her legs were tightly wrapped around him, leaving him no time to think about anything else. The stubborn reserve in his mind was scattered by her desire, and his body completely fell under her charm. He couldn't help but fall in love with her, and his kisses fell on her cheeks and lips like rain and dew, delicate and gentle, like the rain that suddenly cleared up after a storm. Ying took advantage of the situation and hugged him, stretched out her hand to pull his clothes, and the two of them twisted together. Such enthusiasm, such joy, was the first time for Ji Xun. He couldn't control himself and violently rushed to release himself. Her body shook violently under his impulse, and her soft white bud swayed like water between his fingers. Ji Xun couldn't bear it anymore and entered violently and quickly. The warbler's body tensed, her face scrunched up in pain, and a seductive scream came from her lips. ※ I don’t know how many times I have had sex overnight. As the saying goes, water melts like a fish, but no matter how sweet the water is, a fish will feel overwhelmed even if he drinks too much. After a few times, I was too tired. Finally, under his fierce impact, San Chun passed out miserably on the bed. Zhong He lay tiredly on top of her, breathing heavily. She kept asking for her, which made him tired for a while. This was the last bit of energy he had saved. If it wasn't enough, he might not even know what to do. Fortunately, many years of military life have allowed him to develop a good body, otherwise he would not be able to cope with it. When San Chun woke up, it was already the next morning.
Opening her eyes, she looked at the bright red bed curtains and suddenly realized that today was her Wedding Night.
She reached out beside her but found no one there. Had Ji Xun already gotten up?
Her body ached all over; last night had been too intense, leaving her feeling as if her bones were about to fall apart. Recalling the waves of passion from last night, her face flushed.
But for some reason, she felt that the person with her was not Ji Xun. Was that possible? To be with someone else on her wedding night?
She shook her head, dismissing the terrifying thought, convincing herself that the person was indeed Ji Xun and could not possibly be anyone else, especially not Zhong Xue. How could he have come here from so far away?
Rubbing her forehead, she was about to get up when suddenly there was a knock at the door. It was the maid coming to assist her with washing up.
She instructed the maid to bring in a wooden tub filled with bathing water. As she soaked in it, the hot water made her feel somewhat better.
Sighing, she asked the attending maid, "Where did the young master go so early in the morning?"
The two maids exchanged glances but were reluctant to speak.
San Chun sensed that something was amiss inside and pressed them with several questions, but neither maid would respond.
Feeling anxious, she ordered both maids to leave. She got out of the tub, took a white cloth to dry herself off, and then put on the clothes hanging by the screen.
Just as she was tying her sash, she suddenly heard a light cough from above. The sound was so faint that it would have gone unnoticed if not for the extreme quietness of the room.
San Chun looked up and saw a man lying on the beam of the ceiling, completely naked.
The beam in the new house had a person lying on it, which was already strange enough, especially since he was naked. What was even more surprising was that this man's face looked so much like Zhong Xue's. Wasn't that absurd?
She couldn't believe her eyes and rubbed them before looking closely again. It was indeed Zhong Xue, unmistakably Zhong Xue, who at that moment was grinning at her with a particularly radiant smile.
Anger surged within her, and she reached for a water ladle and threw it up at the beam.
She threw it with considerable force, hitting Zhong Xue on the thigh. He winced in pain and then obediently jumped down from above. As soon as his feet hit the ground, something rigid between his legs stood upright, directly facing her disheveled appearance.
Just moments ago, she had stood before him, her body as white as jade, one hand delicately wiping a snow-white cloth. Her movements were gentle, and as her hand moved up and down, enticing glimpses were revealed. He gasped in surprise at the sight; it was a normal reaction that at least indicated his body was loyal to her. However, he doubted whether he had the strength for further action if he continued to look.
San Chun quickly tied her clothes and then grabbed a piece of clothing to throw over him, angrily asking, "What are you doing here?"
Seeing her fierce gaze, Zhong Xue felt helpless. He covered his lower body with the clothing and then reached under the bed to retrieve his own clothes. While putting them on, he chuckled and said, "It's nothing much; just someone came in, and I found a place to hide."
Last night, they had shared endless intimacy in the room. Although it was uncontrollable passion, it still went against moral principles; after all, her current identity was Ji Xun's wife, not his. He hadn't slept all night, continuously satisfying her desires until she fainted from exhaustion due to his vigorousness. He hadn't really slept either; he kept listening for sounds outside, contemplating leaving first but felt he should give her an explanation. If he ran away first, it would only worsen his situation.
