After thinking for a moment, he sent a message to Natalie through the badge. 0

"Senior Sister, could you do me a favor?" 0

"Senior Sister, I'm currently out on a field training and urgently need to conduct an experiment. Could you please help me by sending over a set of equipment?" 0

"Sure, but what are you willing to pay for it?" 0

Initially pleased that she agreed, Daniel's expression immediately fell upon hearing her response. 0

"Don't you know what you need?" 0

"Listen, I heard from the mentor. Are you currently thrown into the Underworld? With such a long distance, the cost of sending it over is significant. If you really want it, I can help you buy a set. As for the price, I can't guarantee it." 0

Daniel's face darkened further; Maxwell Mentor had really sold him out completely. He had initially planned to act like he didn't need it too much to negotiate a lower price, but now it seemed he was going to get ripped off. 0

"How much for a set of equipment?" 0

"The low-grade one is about six hundred Magic Stones; for the high-grade one, I still need to check." 0

Daniel was speechless; low-grade equipment was less than two hundred Magic Stones, and now it had tripled in price. Why not just rob someone? 0

After some haggling, Daniel ended up purchasing a set of equipment at double the price. As for the Magic Stones, he would hand them over to Natalie after returning. 0

He hated that his teeth were itching; my Magic Stones! 0

Not long after, as the chip lit up slightly, a set of equipment appeared in the open space ahead. It was exactly what Natalie had sent him through the Teleportation Array. 0

Sometimes Daniel couldn't help but marvel at how convenient magic was; it was precisely because of it that distances could be shortened. 0

With the worship of the Troglodytes, Daniel was doing quite well here, and the food situation was acceptable. 0

Of course, behind this was the Caveman Tribe struggling to support him. They went to great lengths to gather enough food for Daniel, almost resorting to cooking themselves to put on the table. 0

Daniel understood this, but he chose to ignore it. Instead, it only strengthened his resolve to learn sorcery. The reason the Caveman Tribe found themselves in such a situation was that they lacked power and could only be bullied. 0

He did not want to face a similar situation with the Caveman Tribe in the future. 0

Just think about it: being ordered around by others, having to give whatever they wanted through gritted teeth, while constantly facing the threat of being killed—no one would want that. 0

The truth is that fate must be grasped in one's own hands. 0

He sorted through the data in the chip and found some useful information. 0

At this moment, lying on Daniel's surgical experiment table was a Troglodyte, and surprisingly, its terrified eyes were still alive. 0

Don't ask how Daniel obtained it. 0

With his skills, capturing a few Troglodytes was easy, ensuring no one would notice. After all, with their combat power being so low, anyone could bully them; often after going out for a while, there would be fewer of them left. 0

If it weren't for their strong reproductive abilities, they would have long disappeared from this world. Therefore, Troglodytes were not surprised by missing persons and were too lazy to search for them. 0

Daniel moved two surgical knives across the Troglodyte's body and quickly extracted its stomach. During this process, not much blood flowed out. 0

This was certainly due to Daniel avoiding blood vessels with the help of the chip, but more importantly, he used sorcery to slow down blood flow. Additionally, a faint energy fluctuation appeared on the blood vessels, blocking the blood from flowing out. 0

Daniel couldn't help but marvel at how useful sorcery was. 0

With the scalpel in hand moving around, cutting into the Troglodyte's body, a glint of brilliance flashed in Daniel's eyes as he contemplated his findings. The stomach wall of the Troglodyte was very thick, and its intestines were twisted; perhaps this was why they could survive on a herbivorous diet. 0

The brain is quite small, indicating their low intelligence, but their limbs are very sturdy, making them suitable for heavy labor. 0

Suddenly, Daniel noticed that the liver of the Troglodyte was slightly misaligned, and the heart was similarly affected. The intestines were elongated, pressing against other organs. Several Troglodytes he dissected showed the same issues. 0

Perhaps under normal circumstances, this wouldn't be noticeable, but through the calculations of the chip, Daniel realized that various problems would manifest in the bodies of the Troglodytes. 0

Daniel couldn't help but fall into deep thought. How could this happen? It seemed like a form of heredity. In nature, such anomalies should not exist; otherwise, how could they survive? They would have long been eliminated and disappeared from the annals of history. 0

Daniel began to form a hypothesis. 0

The Troglodytes were likely not a product of nature but rather something that had escaped from the Wizard Tower. This group of mad wizards would do anything for their experiments. To Daniel, wizards resembled the great scientists of his past life, their minds filled with all sorts of wild theories. 0

However, due to a lack of power, most scientists in his previous life could only shrink back into their laboratories, unable to turn their bizarre ideas and incredible thoughts into reality. 0

Thus, they thought a lot but did very little. Most ideas became mere fantasies. But wizards in this world had no such limitations. 0

They were like a group of unshackled mad scientists who not only possessed the madness of scientists but also had the ability to turn that madness into reality. It was this latter point that was most terrifying. 0

For their ideas, they would conduct any kind of experiment. Not just a group of Troglodytes; even their own kind—humans—would be slaughtered by the thousands for an experiment. 0

It was well past mealtime when Daniel realized that the Caveman Tribe had yet to bring him food. This puzzled him; given the courage of the Troglodytes, even if they were given ten times more courage, such a thing shouldn't happen. Could it be that something had happened to the Caveman Tribe? 0

After thinking for a moment, he took a vine staff and walked outside. This was something he learned from the High Priest of the Minotaur Tribe—using fresh wood to make it directly. Although its power wasn't great, it was simple and convenient; as long as there were trees, it could be made. 0

From a distance, he heard terrified shouts coming from the Caveman Tribe. A massive figure stood there, occasionally swallowing two Troglodytes and chewing them. 0

This enormous figure stood over three meters tall, with shiny fur covering its body and a crescent-shaped patch of white fur on its chest. It looked similar to an oversized bear. 0

However, the energy fluctuations emanating from it were at least at the level of a Third-Level Apprentice. 0

Daniel's eyes lit up; this was actually a Raging Demon Bear. Such good fortune would never happen at the academy, where the Magical Beasts around had long been cleaned out by the apprentices. 0

Not even a rabbit with energy fluctuations could be found, let alone a powerful creature like the Raging Demon Bear. They had all been caught and eaten. 0

Wielding the totem pillar in his hand, he swung it fiercely down onto the Raging Demon Bear's head. With a crack, Daniel looked at the broken totem pillar in his hand, while the Raging Demon Bear merely smiled wryly, seemingly unfazed. 0

Its skin was too thick; despite his full-force strike, he hadn't even broken through its hide. This was partly due to the Raging Demon Bear's tough skin and flesh, but mainly because he hadn't gone all out. 0

The Raging Demon Bear roared and charged at Daniel, who dodged aside and then ran off into the distance. With the Priest's methods, Daniel had no confidence in capturing it. It would be best to find a secluded place, revert from his transformation, and use magic. 0

Hearing the furious roars of the Raging Demon Bear behind him, it was clear that it regarded Daniel as food and did not see him as a threat. 0

Daniel spread his right hand, forming a massive fireball that hovered there. He didn't launch it immediately but instead slowly infused it with magical power to increase its potency. Once he felt it was sufficiently charged, he hurled it towards the Raging Demon Bear. 0

With a "boom," a tremendous explosion echoed as the Raging Demon Bear's roar rang out. When the explosion subsided and revealed the bear's figure, its head was charred black, and its once shiny fur had been completely burned away. 0

Daniel felt a pang of regret. Why did he learn Fire Magic? If he had used metal or Spatial System techniques to cut it directly, he could have preserved its beautiful fur. Not to mention, it would have made for a perfect fur coat. Wearing that out would surely dazzle all the beautiful women. 0

Now there was nothing left. 0
