Daniel's actions clearly exceeded the expectations of his pursuers. After a moment of hesitation, several Wizard Apprentices appeared, shouting as they chased after him.
Of course, their method was similar to Daniel's; they flew through the air without triggering the traps. This confirmed Daniel's suspicions and proved that his deductions were correct: the traps did not affect flying enemies.
Daniel glanced back, his heart racing. There were five people in this ambush, which didn't seem like many. If they were just knights, he could easily crush them with one hand.
Unfortunately, they were not knights but Wizard Apprentices, and all of them were Third-Level Wizard Apprentices.
The badge on their chests indicated they were members of a certain faction. He wondered who he had offended to provoke such a pursuit.
"What grudge do you have against me? Why are you targeting me?"
The leader among them was a middle-aged man with blond hair, a scar running across his cheek that made him look fierce and terrifying. His tone was filled with menace.
"What grudge? That depends on you. You dared to kill Arnold and the others, and even impersonated an envoy to collect tribute from the Fire Elemental Clan, disrespecting the authority of our master. You deserve to die."
Daniel was taken aback, not understanding why they had reacted so quickly. According to his reasoning, since he had killed Arnold and the others, there should have been no one to report it. He had deliberately concealed his tracks while selling materials, taking several detours.
Even if they discovered Arnold's death, they shouldn't have found his trail so quickly.
What he didn't know was that Arnold, as the apprentice leader guarding Vita City, was registered with Boris. Boris had specifically collected a trace of Arnold's soul essence; once something happened to Arnold, Boris would be informed.
Thus, when Daniel killed Arnold, Boris already knew and promptly issued a mission to send someone to investigate the situation in Vita City.
Not long after Daniel left, the investigators arrived and began looking into the situation in Vita City.

"Maybe, but are you really sure you can kill me?" Daniel asked with a faint smile.
The leader looked at him for a moment, very arrogantly. "Why don't you run then? I don't believe you can escape in this situation. Or do you want to counterattack us? Come on, I'll take whatever abilities you have."
"Actually, I was wondering if you could let me go. I can give you as many Magic Stones as you want."
"Impossible. Lord Boris has already issued a bounty for your life. It's best if we can bring you back alive; if not, dead will do."
Daniel felt anxious and had no choice but to deal with the situation on the surface while contacting Natalie through his badge.
"Senior Sister, can you teleport over using the badge?"
"Yes? Did something happen? Did you provoke someone you shouldn't have? Your mentor is ruthless; throwing you into the Underworld without preparation. If you want me to rescue you, that's fine, but what kind of reward are you prepared to offer?"
Daniel was exasperated; what time was it, and she was still talking about this? It was truly frustrating.
"The price is good; just come over first, and I guarantee you'll get a satisfactory reward."
"Alright, just wait. Don't forget one thousand Magic Stones."
As soon as he finished speaking, a beam of light suddenly shot out from Daniel's badge, illuminating the area ahead. With a dazzling flash, Natalie appeared before Daniel, dressed in revealing and sexy attire. Her long ponytails swayed playfully down to her hips.
Daniel clearly saw the five people opposite him swallow hard, their eyes filled with greed.

The leader said arrogantly.
His words clearly angered Natalie; she was used to being dominant in the academy and had never been insulted like this before. Perhaps it had happened in the past, but now she was so furious that it felt like her whole body was trembling with rage.
"You a few old men think you can trouble me? If you have the ability, come and take a couple of my moves."
"Sure, sure, I will definitely let you know my capabilities. How do you want to try? In bed or in the wild, or right here? You can choose."
Natalie smiled sweetly, but those who knew her understood she was already furious.
"Then take one of my moves first, Thunder Chain."
Before she finished speaking, countless chains made of lightning suddenly emerged from her body, shooting towards the five men and instantly engulfing them in thunder.
When the lightning subsided, the five men appeared in a disheveled state. Fortunately, they were all Third-Level Apprentices and were able to react just in time when the lightning struck. They were not injured but looked somewhat dirty.
Daniel was also taken aback; he truly did not expect that the person Daniel called would be a powerful Thunder Element user.

As he pondered how to respond, Natalie waved her hand again, unleashing another bolt of lightning.
Daniel watched in shock from behind.

Bolts of lightning surged towards the opponents, countless Thunderfalls descended, drowning the enemies within. For a moment, Daniel and his companions had no time to react and could only struggle to hold on.
However, the opposing side had rich combat experience and quickly reacted. The first three men raised their defenses while the last two began to counterattack.
"Rolling Stone Technique."
As the voice fell, a circular boulder with a diameter of over two meters suddenly appeared and rolled toward the two individuals.
The other person waved a staff, and immediately Daniel felt a faint wave of magical energy beneath his feet. The movement was extremely subtle; if it weren't for the chip alerting him, he would have thought it was just a mouse passing underground, demonstrating the strong concealment of witchcraft.
