“Alright, stop overthinking. Let's take a break. I'll give each of you a Silver Moon Guardian Badge, and the rest will be up to me. You have no objections, right?” Reirfu handed over a badge.
The two nodded; what objections could they have? If it weren't for him coming to help, they might not have escaped the pursuit at all. He had also put in a lot of effort dealing with Daniel, so he deserved the lion's share.
After receiving the badge, Natalie didn't say much and ran off to rest. She was exhausted this time; her injuries had just started to heal, and she had pushed herself to fight again, leaving her utterly fatigued. She found a rock to lie on and soon began to snore lightly.
Reirfu sat down on the ground, closed his eyes, and began to meditate. It was probably this attitude of diligently practicing whenever he had the time that allowed him to become a strong contender among Wizard Apprentices, surpassing tens of thousands of competitors to become a Wizard Seed.
Seeing this, Daniel also found a place to sit down and pondered how to deal with the current situation. No matter what, his strength was still only that of a Second-Level Apprentice; he was far too weak and escaping from a group of Third-Level Apprentices would be extremely difficult. “You should call me 'older sister.' How did your Mental Power grow so quickly? What did you use?”
“Ahhh!” Accompanied by a painful scream, Daniel twitched his body and shot her an annoyed glare. Wasn't I just saying your name? Did you really need to zap me?
“It’s the Elemental Red Lotus's Lotus Seed, but there's only one left; I just consumed it.”
“Oh, I see. Well then, hurry up and start a fire for roasting.”
Just as Daniel was about to retort, he suddenly noticed the crackling sparks of electricity coming from her hand and shivered involuntarily, obediently going off to find firewood.
“He's improving so fast; it's almost frightening,” Natalie said with some emotion as she watched Daniel's retreating figure.
“What does it matter? It's just an enhancement from the Elemental Red Lotus; it doesn't count as real skill,” Reirfu replied.
“Hey, you don't understand.”
Natalie looked at Daniel's back with mixed feelings and couldn't help but feel a surge of violent emotions, unable to resist wanting to destroy him.
His rate of progress was simply too fast; in just three years, he was already close to becoming a Third-Level Apprentice. When had she ever seen such rapid advancement?
The last time Daniel was seen, he was only at 4 points of Mental Power. Now that she has come back, his Mental Power has already increased to a point, and now it has suddenly reached 9 points of Mental Power, just a little shy of becoming a Third-Level Apprentice.
It was hard for her not to have any thoughts about this.
After a while, she suppressed her killing intent. It wasn't that Natalie didn't want to take action, but there were unspoken rules among Wizard Seeds that they could only help each other and not attack one another.
Natalie didn't want to face the unanimous resistance of other Wizard Seeds for violating this rule.
Most importantly, the gap in strength between her and Daniel had reached a certain level. If she really attacked him, it was likely to trigger the conditions for using the Silver Moon Guardian Badge, allowing him to escape.
Only those from the Underworld could be hostile on the surface, unless there was an overwhelming difference in strength, like when a wizard attacks a Wizard Apprentice.
Otherwise, the Silver Moon Guardian Badge would not take effect, allowing them to attack Daniel.
After Natalie shared her acquaintance with Daniel with Reirfu, he felt a similar sentiment rising within him.
He believed he was already quite talented himself, possessing both Gold and Earth affinities. His Golden Affinity made his attacks unparalleled, while his Earth affinity provided unmatched defense. With both offense and defense combined, he was truly a perfect match.
Having become a Wizard Seed in just eight years, who else could compare to him?
However, now looking at the gap between him and Daniel, it seemed so vast. Fortunately, he didn't know that Daniel came from Earth and wasn't familiar with Eastern culture; otherwise, he would surely lament, "Why must there be both Yu and Liang?"
Looking at Daniel, his expression became serious. Since he couldn't suppress him, he would have to become friends with him instead.
While enjoying barbecue, the three discussed how to escape next. After all, they had never expected that when they came to support, Daniel would stir up a hornet's nest and attract a group of Third-Level Apprentices chasing after them. Otherwise, they would never have agreed to come for rescue.
They had only come to earn some Magic Stones, not to seek death. Now that they couldn't leave the Underworld in the short term, they had to find a way to escape.
Daniel clearly sensed a significant change in Reirfu's attitude towards him; he was no longer indifferent or even contemptuous but rather very enthusiastic.
Although he didn't understand why this change occurred, he wholeheartedly welcomed such a positive development.
Reirfu spoke first: "We can just charge through. As long as we escape from the current location in the Antia Empire, even if they still have pursuers, it will be much easier since it's not their territory."

Setting up a Magic Array can cost quite a bit, and I have to pay for it? However, upon hearing the crackling of electric sparks, Daniel wisely kept silent. After thinking for a moment, he listed out all the materials needed and prepared to purchase them.
Natalie quickly said, "Don't worry, I'll help you buy them right now."
Daniel hurriedly shook his head. "It's better if Brother Reirfu makes the purchase. As a senior Wizard Seed, he should be able to get a discount."
He wouldn't dare let Natalie handle the purchase; given her personality, she would take advantage of every opportunity. Even a miserly person could scrape off some rust from a penny; letting her buy would mean he’d end up spending an excessive amount of Magic Stones.
Natalie pouted, clearly a bit displeased, but it didn’t matter much. She obviously knew how she was perceived in Daniel's eyes.
The three of them finalized their plan. With Reirfu's abilities, they quickly found a flat valley where they set up the Magic Array and then waited for the pursuers to arrive.
