This put the people below in a difficult situation. They were originally engaged in a fierce battle with the enemy when suddenly they had to face the threat of a Fireball Spell. It felt like knowing that someone could stab them in the back at any moment while still having to grit their teeth and fight the enemy. 0

They had to attack in front while being wary of what was behind them, making the fight extremely arduous. 0

The worst off were those in the depression; they had gone the deepest and posed the greatest threat to the Wizard Academy's Wizard Apprentices. 0

If they continued to push deeper, the front lines of the Flame Throne Wizard Academy could collapse, so Daniel focused on this area. 0

For a long time, they remained there, countless Fireballs raining down, interspersed with some stones and Explosive Potions disguised as stones, without a moment's pause. 0

During these times, the enemy's offensive would be greatly hindered. They had to use magic to destroy even the stones; ignoring them was not an option. 0

Otherwise, the hidden Explosive Potions would remind them that even stones could be deadly. 0

They certainly did not want to die miserably at the hands of a mere stone. 0

Withstanding the enemy's relentless bombardment while being unable to retaliate was something no one could endure. 0

Even though Franklin fought bravely at the front, opening up situations and killing countless enemies wherever he went, it didn't matter how fierce he was if no one followed him from behind. 0

Wherever he charged, others would quickly retreat and avoid engaging him. 0

And once he passed through, they would immediately fill in the gaps and continue fighting the enemy. 0

Seeing the favorable situation, Daniel let out a sigh of relief. As long as things continued like this, they would eventually wear down the opponent. By then, even if Franklin was a Formal Wizard, what could he do against the overwhelming number of Wizard Apprentices? He couldn't possibly kill them all. 0

Not that he lacked the ability; even if he had that capability, the academy would not turn a blind eye. Defeat meant learning to acknowledge failure. 0

It was impossible to allow someone to slaughter their apprentices under the guise of victory. That would serve no purpose and would not help in honing the apprentices, which was not something they wanted to see. 0

Daniel turned to those behind him and said, "Why don't you all go down and help the others? There's no point in so many people crowding up here." 0

He was referring to the more than twenty carefully selected strong individuals behind him. Gathering so many people at once felt somewhat futile; it was all in preparation for a potential surprise attack from Franklin on the Wizard Tower. 0

If he really did charge up, these people would have to find a way to push him back down. They absolutely could not allow him to cause destruction above. Fortunately, it hadn't come to that. 0

A group of people nodded in agreement. Staying up here was a waste; it would be better to go down and reduce their own casualties. 0

Thus, Daniel piloted the Wizard Tower to the edge of the battlefield and lowered a rope for them to descend. 0

Once they were down, he quickly tossed down another rope, transforming the Wizard Tower into a weapon of slaughter, and then helped the Wizard Apprentices suppress the opposing forces. 0

Suddenly, Daniel noticed that in the center of the depression, Franklin's figure had already vanished. A group of experts remained vigilant, scanning their surroundings for any trace of him. 0

Due to his threat, no one dared to join the battle for fear of being ambushed by him. 0

An ominous premonition surged within Daniel. At this moment, where could he have gone? 0

With a loud bang, the Wizard Tower beneath Daniel shook violently. The once stable flight of the Wizard Tower suddenly tilted, and it took a while to stop its descent. 0

A group of people exchanged glances, unsure of why this situation had occurred. 0

At that moment, an urgent shout came from the control center. "Not good! Franklin is charging up! What should we do?" 0

Upon hearing this, the members of the Wizard Legion were thrown into chaos, panicking and not knowing what to do. Some rushed down to confront the enemy, while others considered jumping off the Wizard Tower to escape. 0

There was no choice; Franklin's reputation was too great. Even though they were numerous and all elites, they had no confidence in their ability to handle him. 0

"Why are you panicking? Keep attacking; I'll deal with Franklin," Daniel shouted loudly, his face showing no emotion as if he were very confident. He stepped toward the cabin. 0

This gave everyone a bit of reassurance. 0

However, trying to get them to continue fighting was futile; everyone's thoughts were focused on Franklin. 0

Releasing spells downward and slaughtering freely was indeed exhilarating, but what if Franklin took a disliking to him and killed him directly? Who would they turn to for help? They had no confidence in withstanding the power of Spatial Slash. 0

Daniel noticed the situation above and revealed a bitter smile, but there was nothing he could do; after all, Franklin's reputation was so formidable. If he had known, he wouldn't have let that group of strong individuals go down. 0

Originally, he intended for them to open up a situation below to reduce casualties in the academy, but unexpectedly, Franklin had taken advantage of the opportunity to mix in. 0

He truly did not know how he managed it. When he let those strong individuals go, they were at an altitude of two hundred meters. That group moved quickly, and it only took a few seconds. Yet somehow, in that brief moment, Franklin managed to slip in. 0

He rushed to the edge of the battlefield from the depression, and in just over ten seconds, he made it there without alarming the group of powerful individuals. What does this imply? 0

The group of strong individuals was originally prepared to confront Franklin, yet they were completely unaware that they were on the same rope as him, not even realizing it when they walked past each other. It's hard to understand what they were doing. 0

From this, one can see just how powerful Franklin truly is. 0

Unexpectedly, when he faced Franklin, the Spatial Mage Apprentice, alone, Daniel felt confident in his own strength but had no certainty of victory. If he could find a way to bring Franklin down, that would be considered a win. 0

Otherwise, even if they could achieve victory on the battlefield below, it would be meaningless because Franklin could single-handedly capture the entire Wizard Tower. What was supposed to be their trump card, the Wizard Tower, would become their opponent's weapon. 0

Upon reaching the bottom of the ship's cabin, Daniel saw Franklin standing there. He stood simply yet exuded an imposing presence like a towering mountain, creating immense pressure. 0

"Well, I didn't expect to see you again under these circumstances. So, do you still want to block my way?" 0

"I wouldn't dare; I just want to invite you down." 0

"With just you? That's quite a joke. Where are those people from last time? Bring them all here; this time I want you to lose convincingly." 0

His voice carried an undeniable arrogance and dominance, yet Daniel found himself unable to refute it. 0

The truth was indeed as such; it wasn't just him alone— even if he teamed up with that group of strong individuals from earlier, defeating Franklin was nothing more than a pipe dream. The best outcome would merely be forcing him back. 0

As for the damage the Wizard Tower might suffer in the process, that remained uncertain. If they fought fiercely, it would be fortunate if the Wizard Tower didn't collapse and could still be returned intact. 0

"They all went down, and I am the only one left." 0

"Hahaha," Franklin laughed wildly as if he had heard the funniest joke. He laughed so hard that he bent over, and it took him a while to stop. He coldly said, "Just you? I saw you pause for a moment before coming down. Were you preparing some powerful magic to deal with me? Go ahead, let me see what your trump card is." 0

"Then thank you." 0

Daniel uttered, and suddenly, magical energy surged in his hand, revealing a translucent Devil's Skull. It had two sharp horns on its head, sharp teeth in its mouth, and blood-red eyes. Yet, oddly enough, it looked almost comical, reminiscent of a child's drawing rather than menacing. 0

As Daniel waved his hand, the Devil's Skull lunged at Franklin. 0

Faced with such a bizarre scene, Franklin couldn't help but think of the mysterious apprentice he had fought against initially; her magic was just as strange and mysterious. 0

A sense of dread filled him, prompting him to activate his protective shield while simultaneously casting spells towards the Devil's Skull. 0

However, it was futile; none of the spells harmed the Devil's Skull in the slightest, as if they were not on the same plane. 0

The Devil's Skull continued to fly towards him at a seemingly slow pace but was actually quite fast, closing the distance in an instant. 0
